The dryer itself is good, works just fine. Converting it to propane however was a nightmare. Kit had to be purchased off e bay as neither best buy nor LG sold it at the time of purchase. Many parts in the dryer are plastic that shouldn’t be and break easily - namely the adjuster for the gas valve. Be VERY careful when you tighten it otherwise it’ll snap (screwing metal screw into a little plastic piece- the plastic will give first) and you’ll have to order another assembly and wait for it to arrive. We live rurally and if my husband wasn’t mechanically inclined, we’d be out of luck as there’s no one around who certified to do these conversions and doing it yourself voids the warranty. Once installed however the dryer works fine. We have it stacked on the washer and have had no issues after 3 ish months of consistent use. Seems to take longer to get things dry than our old (very very old) dryer, but that’s likely because I dry most of my clothes on low heat, medium at most. I like that even when it runs together with the washer, it’s relatively quiet. I get annoyed by background noise easily and this doesn’t bother me.

This LG washer-dryer set was highly reviewed in all customer forums I checked. They are quiet and work efficiently as described. They fit perfectly under my laundry counter after a few modifications to raise it 3 inches. I was very satisfied with all the Best Buy employee interactions I had in my effort analyze all my options to replace my old appliances.

We have only had the dryer a few weeks but so far it’s been good. One thing I feel is it takes time to heat up. I throw things in for a few minutes to get them unwrinkled and some of the dampness out before line drying and after 5-6 minutes it still seems cool in the dryer when opened unless it was just running from a previous load. In the other end, once the cycle is done it can be quite hot. So far I haven’t noticed anything shrinking but that is a fear and I’ve changed most normal cycle dry to medium heat.
