I am new to the LG gram line of laptops so I did not know what to expect. With that being said after a few days of heavy use, I am in love with this laptop. The performance and flexibility are off the charts good. LG has a real winner here! I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a powerful and portable laptop for general productivity computing tasks. The battery life especially stands out for being above and beyond what is typical. I tend to try to always have my laptops connected to a power source when possible, but did use this laptop on battery power to get a feel for the battery life per charge that I could expect. Under moderate power applications I found that after about 10 hours of use, that I was still well over 60 percent. The gram is rated at up to 26 hours of use. The LG gram box was plain, but still offered some pizazz with the LG signature statement of “Life is Good” printed prominently on the box. Included with the laptop is a USB-C power adapter and product documentation. Once powered on, the product performed a system update that took a few minutes. Once that was done I was up and running. Laptops are one of my favorite devices because I tend to use them extensively and look forward to getting to know my new best friend. Being familiar with laptops, I immediately noticed how lightweight yet well made this laptop felt in my hands. This is my forest black laptop that I have had in awhile so I am enjoying the contrast with my other silver laptops I appreciate the 16 inch screen size because of not only the larger display area but also the full size ten key keyboard which has the keys spaced out slightly more than your typical laptop. The display is essentially 2K and produces excellent picture quality. The screen is bright and detailed. Blacks get quite deep for a non-OLED display. Sound quality is good for a laptop but I am using it with premium headphones. I used this laptop with my go to applications of YouTube, Netflix, Google Docs, and Fandango. I found that this laptop has more than enough processing power to run most general productivity functions with authority. Specs can be just numbers to people, so the bottom line is that if you are concerned about processing power, don't be. The LG Gram can handle most tasks the general user can throw at it with ease. I highly recommend the LG gram laptop, and think that most users will be extremely pleased with the performance of this product. This will be my new daily PC and am looking forward to everything it has to offer.

I have been a fan of LG Gram laptops over the last six years because they come with great configurations and offer them at a reasonable price. I was quickly drawn to the new LG Gram Book 16” 120Hz Touch-Screen Laptop WUXGA AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor with 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD of storage. I liked that it was quick to unbox and set up with my own preferred settings and transfer of Windows applications from my prior LG laptop. I knew it would need a few updates for Windows, but it had more than expected once that it connected to my home fiber-based internet connection. I also had more Windows based applications that I selected to download from my other laptops which took a little bit of time. While I waited for the setup to finish, I realized how large the screen was in person and how thin the laptop was compared to others. I liked that it did not weigh much and was easy to handle moving from my office to other areas of the house where I work. When I closed the lid, I realized that there were a bunch of fingerprints all over the lid from me touching the laptop. I used a microfiber cloth to wipe the fingerprints off but am alerting others that if fingerprints showing up bother you that you might want to choose a different optional color. Once all the basics were out of the way I was ready to start experimenting with the speed and the look for the IPS touchscreen with up to 400 nits of brightness were more than adequate for my preferences. I then started becoming familiar with the LG applications: My Gram, gram chat-on device, gram chat Cloud, and LG gram Link. The first application helps take care of PC maintenance issues, security, apps, and customer support. The chat apps are ways to save special information you can share with an AI assistant either on the device or in the Cloud for later. They added the optional Windows Recall feature, but I disabled it due to my own preference to avoid security concerns. If you are satisfied with Windows security protocols, then it is a faster way to find documents or files on your laptop. The last feature I have come to like using is the Co-pilot+ PC feature so you can hit a button to activate it or set up as your preferred AI assistant for searching for or looking for certain information on the internet. The best feature is AI managing the battery power for up to 26 hours of video playback per the company claims. I did not test it for playing videos that long but wanted to see how long it would last with my normal usage of other applications which lasted for over 2 days working up to 8 hours a day without plugging it into power. I also set up the battery use to be efficient and wanted it to go to a maximum of 80 percent on future usage. Regarding the video and sound quality, I was impressed with the Dolby Atmos speakers playing sound with good quality. I was also glad that it had multiple ports, including two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 ports, and a HDMI port along with a headphone jack. Overall, I was impressed with the lightweight laptop loaded with a great processor, good video card, and wonderful features that checked all my personal preferences. I would recommend this laptop to friends and family.

The LG Gram Book 16 Edge is a remarkably lightweight laptop for having such a large display. One of the biggest advantages for me personally is that the case is large enough to support both a full keyboard and a dedicated 10-key, which is something I always look for in a productivity laptop. Display-wise, the screen is pretty solid overall. The IPS panel does a really good job reducing glare, which matters a lot to me because I spend a significant amount of time working in airports and on planes where windows are abundant. The display has a softer appearance that’s easier on the eyes during long sessions, although I do wish the resolution was a little higher. As I’m getting older, I definitely notice the difference more than I used to, and while the current resolution is perfectly usable, I personally would have liked a bit more sharpness for text-heavy workloads. Battery life on this laptop has honestly been excellent. I tested the charging behavior using my wall chargers that display live wattage readings, and the battery tends to draw a max of 77 watts. However, most of the time it seems to operate at roughly half that power draw. This laptop is optimized for efficiency, but despite that, I’ve been running the laptop almost exclusively in Power Mode. I tend to be extremely demanding with my systems. I usually have large Excel files open, tons of browser tabs, so I’m heavy on multitasking workloads. I can occasionally feel the system getting pushed a little bit under my usage style, mainly because of the 16GB of RAM. I suspect most people would find this more than sufficiency though. I’ve spent a significant amount of time on this computer over the past week, and ’ve consistently been getting around 9 to 10 hours of battery life (on power mode), The Windows battery estimator has also been surprisingly accurate. The case itself also feels sturdy given how light the laptop is. My one major complaint is the Titan Black finish, it looks amazing, as long as you don’t touch it. It’s a fingerprint magnet like I’ve never seen, to the point where I don’t even try to keep it wiped down anymore. I doubt you’ll have this experience with their other colors. Performance-wise, I’ve been very impressed with what AMD is currently doing with the Ryzen AI lineup. Their integrated graphics feel significantly more capable than Intel’s integrated graphics. Overall the system feels very optimized for newer AI-assisted operating system features and workloads, and it has a strong performance while not drawing too many watts. One tip I would absolutely recommend, given the low wattage of this device, is go buy a much smaller GaN charger and a quality USB-C cable. The included LG charger is much larger than it needs to be, and since it outputs to a USB-C, there is no reason not to swap out for something smaller and easier to travel with. The thermals have also been excellent. Since the laptop runs at relatively low wattage, it stays cool far longer than you would expect. I was able to comfortably use it directly on my lap for nearly an hour in Power Mode before it even started feeling noticeably warm. Shockingly, it’s a laptop that can be used in your lap. A bonus feature I’ve really enjoyed is how well it integrates into my existing LG setup. I currently use an LG 39GX950B 5K2K monitor that includes a 90W USB-C output, and I’m able to power the entire laptop, essentially like a docking station, directly from the LG monitor using a single USB-C cable. I can also use LGs software to simultaneously run split-screen functionality between this laptop and my other computer. It creates a very clean workstation setup and makes the overall experience feel surprisingly seamless. Overall, I think the LG Gram Book 16 Edge does an excellent job balancing portability, battery life, and heat dispersion. It’s not performance heavy, as it’s optimized for productivity and efficiency. It’s a great solution if you need a big screen with a long battery life.

We bought this for our son that is about start college. He opened it early and loves it. It is both light and powerful. He's been actually playing games on it since he hasn't started school. The laptop is very light for it's size and fits in his backpack and doesn't take up too much room. Overall, we are satisfied with this purchase.

Very durable laptop. The specs are the specs. If you're looking for a computer with more ram, more hard drive space, and a better graphic card, then buy a different computer. This computer does what I want it to do and I dont have to worry if its durability. This laptop is built like a tank.

Works as a reliable daily use computer for work and personal uses. Keyboard is comfortable for typing and its light enough to actually put on you lap. Only down side os the slick looking finish really shows any moisture or oil from fingers and palms. Minor but noticable.

I have had this laptop for about a month. It's responsive and provides a clear screen. The keyboard designations are a little bit small so good lighting helps.
