I do not really write a lot of reviews. Let me first start off with what people want to know If you are a PlayStation 5 owner. First off: This monitor is true in its product relevancy. It does deliver 4K@120Hz but that is dependent on a few factors. The game/application must support 120hz. The game/application must be set on performance mode under the Saved Data and Game/App Settings then go to Game Presets and select Performance mode or Resolutions mode and you select Performance mode to unlock 120Hz. Check the picture for reference. Secondly if you are playing a game like Call of Duty Cold War or Fortnite it will let you know that you are using 120Hz. On Fortnite you’ll have to manually enabled it. For Cold War it actually automatically sets it for you but it disables Ray Tracing. On the PlayStation menu screen/home operating system the video information will read as 4K - 60Hz Do not worry about that since that’s just the standard for the PS home layout view settings. But make sure that the RGB is set as RGB (HDR) that will activate HDR fully in the PS home layout. To do this go to HDR on the Video Output Menu on the PS5 Screen and Video. Turn off HDR and wait for a few seconds the screen on the LG will turn black and then turn the HDR back on and it should now say RGB (HDR) When playing the applications or games that support 120Hz usually the Color format will change from RGB to YUV422 (HDR) but you’ll see the 4K@120Hz shown in the picture. Keep in mind that this monitor does have the HandShake problem. It takes quite a few seconds for the signal to change in between from SDR and HDR. Possibility there will be an update for that in the future from LG. Also the VRR is still fairly new for the PS5 so that might come out in a future software update. I do notice smooth gameplay and fluid motions. The gaming monitor does heat up but the fan is pretty quiet. I haven’t heard it get loud at all. You can also check out the monitors internal software for true signal information. You can see that I’m running at 120Hz 4K. I am not a PC gamer so I can’t really say how this monitor works for that genre of gaming. Other than that this monitor is also good watching movies and TV shows. Looks great on Anime that support HDR. I hope this review will help out fellow PlayStation 5 owners.

Amazing monitor. 4K is a bit of an overkill on a 27in monitor. I ended getting this Monitor to use with my ps5 and xbox series x since it has 2x 2.1 hdmi ports and they can be utilized to their full potential. Pros- 4K 144hz amazing color accuracy Cons. Pricy and if suffers from light bleeding on the edges. I’ve gotten used to it but if you’re picky about stuff like that this monitor isn’t for you.

So I was able to scoop this beauty for to upgrade my PC rig with a 3090 and a 1080 165hz but just making my daily check in on best buy and was eyeing this monitor for quite a while. I had a store credit from a previous item no longer working and I was so close to just settling with a QHD 144hz monitor as the weeks roll by, but then I saw the in stock yellow icon and jumped right on it. Got it as a store pick up so my neck of the woods is not the best especially in these tough shortage times. Pro: - 4k & 144hz (able to overclocked to 165hz) but you will need a monster gpu to drive this beast just to be on the safe side of things like overall PC performance - IPS panel means great colors especially in the daytime (can get bright) - 27 inches of 4k is perfect for those with limited desk/room space especially for my case Con: - Stand is nice even though its plastic, but it takes up a desk real estate which then made me sit a little too close. So I had to get a monitor arm to free up desk space as well as made it more ergonomic for my eyes - Not being able to figure out how to use the VideoSync feature as the drivers is buggy from my experience so far (so I gave up messing with that for now as I do not want to break it if I don't have to) So I'll have to minus a star for that, not a deal breaker but it sucks that I can't use that feature. - IPS bleed is there but honestly I barely notice it except for some dark scenes and loading screens in games or some video stream clips Overall yes this monitor is pricey compared to some others, especially now that next gen gaming is out so there will be more options coming in the near future especially more affordable options with minor differences here and there. But, in my opinion as long as there is the big 2 which is 4k resolution and 144 or 120hz grab it as the other features are pretty much icing on the cake.

I had really high hopes for this monitor as I wanted the best for my Series X to use in college. My unit had no dead pixels luckily, but it had absolutely abysmal IPS glow which varies depending on the model. I also had terrible backlight bleed, see picture attached. The glow was so bad I returned it and bought the cheaper LG 27UP600 which has minimal glow and no backlight bleed and the LG 24GN600 for a combined price of $600 with tax, $350 less than this monitor with tax. I don’t get the full 4K 120Hz or HDR600, but I have two monitors instead of one and Series X can really only run most games in 120Hz in 1080p or 1440p, so I can utilize the visuals on my 4K monitor and the refresh rate on my 1080p monitor. The route I went feels to me like the better option for now (as well as the one that has more value), as the quality control for these is absolutely terrible for the price you pay. If you have the space and want the full 4K 120Hz, go with LG’s full OLED TV which is actually not much more and offers so much more value. If you don’t plan on playing games with dark scenes, maybe you will like this monitor and won’t notice the glow. Your mileage may vary.

I’m removing 1 star due to receiving a defective monitor the first time. It’s already extremely difficult to find it, only to have the first one defective (an entire column on the screen was static). This should have been caught and wasn’t something minuscule like a few pixels out…it was an entire chunk of the screen was defective. Anyways, somehow, luckily, I was able to order another (so at one point I was out $2k)…and the second one arrived perfectly fine. So it is an amazing monitor if it arrives in working condition. You can turn off the RGB on the back if you wish. That’s what I do. The colors pop. It’s super bright (almost too bright). For PC you’d used the DisplayPort cable (5k cable is included). For consoles you’d use the HDMI 2.1 cable included. No speakers. A bit plastic feeling as far as construction, but overall. I do like it. Don’t overpay for it somewhere else. The price is about right where it’s at for retail. Anything more and you’re definitely overpaying.

This is my second monitor I’ve ever purchased. I used to use the LGUK650 I just wanted something that had a higher refresh rate and was able to take advantage next gen gaming. So far it is really nice I can tell the difference between this monitor and my old monitor and just how much better it looks. I haven’t used it on my series x yet just my pc. I really love LG I think their TVs and monitors always stand out. My two biggest issues with the monitor are it was an open box so already it appears like their is a dead pixel which is why I bought the 4 year protection warranty. Also LG has some app or something that is needed to download in order to switch the colors in the background however when I type it in it just takes me to LG and I can’t figure out from their where to go and download it so I can change the colors on the back of the monitor. Other than that I have been having a blast.

Great monitor overall! The sync is great and has almost no lag. The color is awesome, the only thing is the blacks are not quite perfect. The are a little light/gray. The picture quality is outstanding when compared with other monitor manufacturers and the build quality is top notch.

4K is amazing 144hz is amazing LG Always delivers a quality monitor and this is no different flicker free great coating wonderful stand nice rgb light strip that is bright enough to actually use for bias lighting i tried 2 other monitors recently and ended up coming back to this beautiful thing it can do it all did i mention hdmi 2.1 for consoles if your into that ? Dont worry about people saying bad quality i have about 300 hours on mine and no issues

I was lucky enough to be able to purchase this and have it shipped home. I recently decided to build a gaming setup for my Series X and boy, this monitor does not disappoint! First off when checking the Xbox’s capabilities with the monitor, you’ll notice all is checked off except for Dolby vision. Just be sure though to make sure your Xbox’s display settings are on 4K and the refresh rate at 120hz. Incredibly smooth graphics when playing games. I was concerned with the black light bleeding during the dark scenes and found that it’s not as bad as pics tend to make it look. So I wouldn’t worry about that if it’s your concern. While it does not provide the same brightness as an OLED TV, it does just fine. As for the physical appearance, it’s a sharp looking monitor with a great looking and sturdy stand. The back of the monitor has a color ring light that you can change up. But what gets me is how small the bezels are. As someone who likes the minimalist style, this was a must.

Expensive, but at 4K 160hz I guess I shouldn't be surprised, lol. But you do miss out on OLED. Awhile back people online were reporting black-screen issues with this monitor, but it seems to have been fixed with a firmware update that I installed. The LED ring on the back is easy to control with the LG software or (limited control) via the button at the bottom of the monitor. It is pretty bright for a monitor. I use this for gaming and content creation, but would say you need to run color accuracy tests before doing any crucial editing for color/brightness accuracies. Overall good purchase.

I am giving this monitor 5 stars because it delivers very well. Works great for PC and console gaming. The specs speak for themselves. The RGB lighting on the back of the monitor is a nice feature to have but I do not really care much for it. The cherry on top is obvious the HDMI 2.1 feature, at least in my opinion. However, for all PS5 users such as myself, please note that PS5 currently DOES NOT support VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). Meaning, that you will not get 4K 120Hz at the moment although this is an HDMI 2.1 monitor. You will get 120Hz but at 1080P. You can see in the image that I am still getting 4K at 60Hz after connecting my PS5 to this monitor. This is frustrating on Sony's part because the Xbox Series X does support VRR! So 4K 120Hz will work on this monitor if you have an Xbox Series X, you can see in the image. Hopefully Sony releases the VRR update to the PS5 soon to get the full experience on this monitor! Regarding PC gaming, I have a 2070 super and it is struggling a bit to stay just over 100 FPS at 4K. I do not mind it as I don't really game that much on PC but I would recommend to go with a new 30 series GPU (if you can find one) to have the best experience on this monitor for PC gaming. In all, you will not regret getting this monitor. I was lucky enough to even get one.

This monitor is for my pS5. I just received it on Wednesday. First the colors are great in brighter scenes and it responds very well. the image is sharp and I love the lights on the back. however the main issue I have, and many others, is that the IPS light bleed is terrible on many of these. For this price, it should not be this bad. Reference in image.

The QC is not there with this monitor. If you can get one without bright or dead pixels, then keep it. I gave it 5 stars because it's got excellent color accuracy, pixel density, and contrast (for an IPS panel). I highly recommend it if you can find one without pixel issues.

I purchased an open box and was skeptical at first, but the monitor was actually in perfect condition and is still working perfectly fine (all the accessories were in the box as well and nothing was damaged). The monitor clearly shows a huge difference with my PS5 - the graphics are exceptionally detailed and the refresh rates are insane. I prefer to have my games on performance mode rather than graphics (HDR), but I honestly cannot tell a distinct difference between the two due to the 2.1 HDMI. I am extremely happy about the good deal and could not be happier.

Got this for my Xbox Series X mostly. It does exacrly what its supposed to do. Its crystal clear, vibrant, and the best screen I've gamed on. I would rate 5 stars, but if you use it for console you lose some features with the lighting on the back. I was super excited for the video sync light mode, but alas it only works on PC. This is a light mode that displays colors based on what is happening on your screen. Its immersive and fun. Other than that small issue I have no complaints yet. Just keep in mind you lose a few features for your sphere lighting if you arent on a PC with the software installed.

I was wanting to get a 4K monitor that would work good with my PS5. I’ve heard many good things about this monitor so I decided to try it out, first of all, it was easy to install! The quality is amazing and it really makes my PS5 shine. The games look nice and sharp

Amazing 4k gaming monitor with tons of features! Great colors and clarity. Can be overclocked to 160hz via OSD but adaptive sync seems to disable upon enabling OC. Does have some unbearable backlight glow only in very dark scenarios, see the last pic playing GOW. Overall a 9/10.

The image and colors looks great. I’m happy with this purchase. Also loved the color changing lights in the back.

I got it and it works great but I can’t plug in the aux cable to the port because I think the port is missing the circular piece that is supposed to be around it. When I try to put it in it doesn’t not fit or click and when it’s in it pushes out so not sure what the issue is. I will be returning it and getting a replacement
