For a $400 monitor the LG OLED is honestly impressive. Coming from an iMac 5K Retina display I was curious to see how much of a difference there would be especially in color reproduction and overall image quality. To my surprise the LG came surprisingly close to the iMac in color quality delivering rich vibrant colors and the deep blacks that OLED is known for. I set both displays to the same brightness level to make the comparison as fair as possible. The biggest difference I noticed wasn't really the colors but the level of detail and pixel density. The iMac's 5K Retina display looks sharper with finer details and smaller less noticeable pixels. That's understandable considering the iMac has a much higher resolution for its screen size while the LG is a 1440p 2K display. What impressed me most was how good the LG looked despite that difference. Its colors are beautiful its contrast is excellent and the overall picture quality exceeded my expectations for the price. Considering that it's a 27-inch OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate getting this kind of image quality for around $400 feels like a great deal. My rating is 9/10. For the price the OLED technology the vibrant colors and the 1440p resolution this monitor is an excellent value. The main trade-off is sharpness and pixel density compared with a 5K Retina display but honestly the LG impressed me far more than I expected.

I was originally using a 27" LED monitor for gaming on my Xbox Series X. I would play games like Call of Duty, Rocket League, and EA FC. I heard the hype around getting an OLED monitor and how the visuals would be like day and night. I wanted to find out for myself and got my self one of the better OLED monitors in the market right now that would bring out the best performance out of my Xbox. Once I got it I was able to clearly see the difference with the glossy and clear image. However, my Xbox could not push enough resolution to fully maximize the capabilities of this monitor. I had to manually adjust the image settings on both the Xbox and the monitor. Something a PC could easily do with select games. Now the picture and movement is still very smooth and it looks beautiful. I can see enemies faster in COD and I feel smoother in Rocket League. The difference is small but you can feel it right away when you play it. I gave it 4 not because the monitor itself is bad but because it didn't really give me the WOW i was expecting. The monitor itself is beautiful, easy to assemble and set up. I would still recommend it to my friends and family if they are moving from TV to monitor.

I use this screen for mostly video games; the vibrant colors are unmatched. I use it in a well-lit room and have no reflection issues

This is what I used for my first pc build and it works amazing smooth and fits all my gaming needs, wish it had speakers built in.

One star takeaway for can't be geek squad which gamble and risky on this monitors, but if somebody don't mind to without geek squad protect plan up to you and this is Worth monitor feel durable glass panels easy clean and color is unique is different to QD OLED is often offer color more but up to anyone choice.

taskbar goes far to dark then when you shake the mouse the sudden brightness kicks up and makes the monitor flicker
