The LG UltraGear 32GS95UE is LG's contribution to the growing class of high-end/premium 32" 4K 240Hz OLED monitors. This monitor uses LG's in house WOLED technology, as opposed to QD-OLED from Samsung. There are minimal pros and cons to both, but overall, you'll get all the benefits of OLED with the gorgeous colors, near infinite contrast with true deep blacks, and the instantaneous 0.03ms response time. The standout feature of the 32GS95UE is the dual mode that seems to be unique as of now to WOLED displays. LG is the first to have it, and other brands such as ASUS has teased there own using the same LG WOLED display. The dual mode lets you quickly switch from an immersive UHD 4K 240Hz display to a blazing fast competitive FHD 1080p 480Hz display with a simple press of a button. Basically, you are getting a 2-in-1 with this monitor. No matter the game you play or type of player you are, this monitor will be perfect. This LG also has an anti-glare matte finish. This has been highly controversial, but the matte finish on this display is pretty minimal. It does its job without washing out the contrast of the colors or taking away from the deep blacks. If you want to see how little this matte finish affects the display, look up Youtuber "Optimum" on "matte vs glossy OLED" on YouTube. He breaks everything down with this specific monitor side-by-side with a glossy QD-OLED. Although a glossy display will always have a bit more sharpness and color, those who bash on this display have either not seen it in person or have been brainwashed by those online to feel otherwise. For me, the matte finish was a must have since I use my PC often in bright rooms with a window right next to me. On the other hand, QD-OLEDs lack a polarizing layer on their displays which caused raised blacks and a purple tint in bright lit rooms. The speaks on this monitor are some of the bests I have ever heard. Most monitors I have used or tried have terrible speaks, if they even have any. Coming from the ASUS ROG PG42UQ which also had fantastic speakers, these ones still blew me away. The "Pixel Sound" truly comes from the screen with great volume and clarity, with decent bass. Pricing is the only real con I have experienced so far with this monitor. Although you are getting a 2-in-1 experience with the dual mode, I think LG should have better positioned themself with this feature while also staying competitive with pricing with the growing popularity of QD-OLEDs, especially considering there are models below $1k. I think a starting price of around $1,200 would have been much better. Overall, the 32GS95UE is my favorite 32" 4K 240Hz OLED monitor this year (so far). It's clear 4K resolution, gorgeous colors and deep blacks thanks to the OLED panel, and ultra smooth 240Hz with a 0.03ms GTG pixel response time make up a truly immersive experience. Add in the dual mode, pixel sound, and a clean design, and we have the ultimate gaming monitor.

This is a fantastic monitor and gives you fantastic picture quality along with the best of both worlds when it comes to refresh rate. There is a newer refresh model with only differences being worse built in speakers, a dp 2.1 (although it is only uhbr 13.5 and useless unless you have a 50 series gpu) and a 90w usb c. This one is generally cheaper on sales and a much better option in my opinion, but get whichever moth can find cheaper. Been loving this monitor so far.

On it's own, this monitor is is among the best OLED options available. While it isn't perfect and does not have the features many of the competition do, it's sleek and professional. One feature that differentiates it, are the pixel sound speakers which allowed me to free up desk space for a minimalistic setup as they are quite good. It is a gaming focused monitor and excels in this area with quick response times, high refresh rates and vivid colors but it also has an SRGB good enough for professional editing work. I don't; use the 480hz often I admit but when I do it makes for very smooth sessions in call of duty. What I like most about this monitor is that its consistent. Ambient light doesn't ruin the picture at any point. Against the QD-OLED competition, it does not have the same level of color saturation out of the box but after testing this one against the AW3225QF for a few weeks I found the difference to be largely exaggerated in person. The color boost you get with QD-OLED is minimal and disappears once you turn on the lights on as QD-OLED lacks a polarizer and will turn magenta when overexposed. The matte finish on this screen is excellent at getting rid of reflections and unnoticeable unless you have a pure white background. However, for many a matte finish is a con. Side by side it was difficult for me to notice the glossy having a better image and I think claims of this are overstated. Despite this, the whites on the WOLED panels are superior to that of the QD-OLED panel which add a tinge of red to every image. In reality there are pros and cons to WOLED vs QD-OLED but when it comes to using a monitor for gaming and productivity, the WOLED panels with matte finish make more sense. ASUS makes a WOLED variant of this same panel which has more features (no speakers) but this panel is usually on sale and unless you need the extra ports coming out of your monitor, I recommend this it over the ASUS. That being said I withhold the 5th star because I feel that LG could have at least added a 90w USB-C port for Macbook users and such and also because the retail price at $1399 is not justified. I recommend this monitor whenever it goes on sale. As a bonus I did the wife test and she agreed I the LG was overall a better experience than the AW3225QF!

If you have a high end gaming pc that can hit 300 - 400+ frames and you are competitive gamer, this monitor is a dream. This monitor is best for those that need a very fast refresh rate when gaming, but also want the highest quality 4k content display for everything else. I’m not sure what the negative reviews are talking about in regards to 480hz 1080 mode. Sure it’s slightly blurry compared to the 4k mode which is obvious when moving down in resolution but it looks fantastic in action. In Fortnite for example, everything is crystal and clear and smooth in 480hz. My win rate has risen substantially thanks to the blazing fast refresh rate and for me, its easier to target enemies due to the large 32in display. I was previously using a Asus 1440p 480hz oled but this LG is better in every way now. The only con is the HDR does not pop as much due to the 600nit peak brightness, however I’ve found a suitable fix. 1. Update the monitor to the newest firmware once you get it. 2. In Nvidia Control Panel, turn up the contrast and brightness. The monitor’ performance is drastically improved with those changes. If you’re lucky to see this monitor for a good sale, get it!!!

The LG UltraGear 32” OLED Dual Mode is an absolute beast of a monitor. The 4K 240 Hz mode looks gorgeous — colors pop, blacks are perfectly deep, and games feel super immersive. Then you can flip to 1080p 480 Hz for insane speed and buttery-smooth motion when playing competitive shooters. The switch between modes is quick and seamless too.

A lot of people may be turned off from this monitor simply because it does not have a glossy screen. With a glass screen, things can appear more vibrant, but with that there is generally a good bit of glare. So, although you may get a more vibrant image with an OLED that has a glass screen, you may be compromising visibility due to glare. This monitor is absolutely beautiful, but you may not be as impressed as even an IPS monitor with a glass screen. Take a look at it in store. I got mine as an open box for a considerable discount and given the price, I am extremely happy with it. I did have a few issues initally that I was able to resolve. The monitor was not recognizing the input for my XBOX. I looked online and it was suggested that I try a different HDMI cable - and that worked perfectly. It just didnt like the cable I was using. I had an issue with HDR from the type C G sync cable from my laptop - but, yet again, I learned it was the cable that wasn’t capable of HDR. An Anker cable did the trick at a reasonable cost. The last issue I had was with text from my laptop. I had the monitor set to dual mode, and text was horrible. I went through Windows Clear Text and even used an alternate called Mac Text. But, the issue was really that text is just horrible in dual mode with my setup through Windows 11. I turned it off and its very clear and easy to read. It shouldn’t be a concern. So, it seems that the issues people have with this monitor are mostly due to user error, or just a matter of preference for a glossy screen. I love it, it’s very easy on the eyes and works great with my PC and XBOX Series X.

I absolutely love this monitor. It's a Perfect 10. It does everything you could possibly ask of it. The color accuracy is absolutely stellar out of the box. the response times and refresh rates are top notch and, it gives you basically two monitors in 1. A 480hz 1080p panel for high refresh rate competitive game play in games like counter strike of Battlefield 6 and, an absolutely stellar 4k display for slower games. The only problem with this monitor if price. If you want it all you have to pay for it all. This monitor also has speakers. I don't use them. They're better than average monitor speakers but, they're still monitor speakers.

I was looking to upgrade from 1440p to 4k and I researched on a few top tier ones and ended up choosing this beauty. So first off 4k looks great on this screen right out of the box the factory settings looked exceptional. I later decided to go Rtings.com to try out their recommended settings for calibration and also downloaded their icc profile. I am very satisfied with the end result. Now the thing that I really love about this monitor is the bonus feature which is dual mode, it is amazing to be able to have 480hz available to hit. Right now I can only get in the high 300s with my 4090 but I expect to hit 480fps with the 5090. This imo gives an advantage in competitive play for fast paced games. I have noticed a difference in my timing of eliminating online opponents in games like cod and other mp titles. Now you do have to play this 480hz mode in 1080p so it might not be for everybody but it really doesn't bother me at all its still very visible and very playable. This monitor to me is very versatile I play most offline games in 4k and just general pc browsing, then when I want to go competitive its 480hz time. I did also play multiplayer in 4k 240hz and it also is amazing experience with no input lag its very good.

This display checks all the boxes for me. -High refresh rate -4K & 1080P -Great image quality I'm a casual gamer that tends to watch a lot of a content on my PC. Playing shooters in 1080P while clearing 400+ FPS & being able to hit a button to up the scale back to native 4K for RPGs is amazing. Both resolutions running natively has been awesome. It has speakers, while not amazing sound, is a plus if it's your only option. Watching 4K HDR content through streaming has also been a fantastic experience. I bought it on sale and have not regretted it for even a second.

I had a personal policy never to buy LG products due to a bad experience with LG over a decade ago, but a couple friends convinced me to give them a shot. I did and was COMPLETELY blown away with the picture quality on this! I was coming from a 10yr old ASUS ROG 4K, and I thought the picture looked pretty good on the Samsung G8 OLED (that I just returned due to a multitude of issues), but when I first hooked up the LG Ultra OLED, I was BLOWN away with how much better the picture quality was and about 10x better performance than the Samsung G8. Deeper blacks too on the LG. Well done, LG! Faith restored. Never Samsung. (In the picture, the LG is on the right. That's a Samsung G5 LCD on the left)

The monitor is peak refresh rate with beautiful clarity while gaming, watching videos, movies and just overall cleanliness of the picture. Straight out of the box with no burn in issues or dead pixels. Downside being the price, otherwise beautiful. The mount swivels for ease of positioning and ability to customize setup. Would recommend if youve got the finances to do so.

Best monitor I have ever owned, the only con would be that is really reflective of light, if you are facing a window, or that it has a slight magenta tint if you are in a really lit environment. But I already knew this, and those 2 are not my case, so that means it works amazingly, the colors pop really nice. And paired with my switch 2 and pc for video editing, is better than anything I seen. HDR is awesome by the way.

Monitor is amazing, does everything you know about OLED and more. Love the dual mode, would’ve appreciated an internal KVM switch for the price but good value nonetheless. Love the 120hz at 4K

I have never seen an oled get this bright before i bought this i tried two other monitors s: G8 oled and Alienware oled both of them were ok but disliked how they dont give color accuracy too much blooming or wrong grey scale color adoption. I checked all available best color and setting on YouTube and Reddit mostly and never got the perfect accuracy. Lg out of the box it was ready i didn’t have to fiddle much with the setting it was already programmed. And my best overall is the dual mode its god level tier. My gaming has improved alot and i can play competitive with zero latency it the perfect fit and size for me. I highly recommend this product to all competitive gamers and professionals. This is it whats currently available in the market its the alpha of all monitors.

This ia arguably the best monitor you can buy. Why? I use it as a TV for my Apple TV 4K and it just compliments it really well. I don't personally own a TV and wanted to get something in the middle however I really wanted to lean heavily on a solid gaming monitor. That'll support any hardware updates I did on my computer and let me tell you so far I haven't even used the 480 Hz side of it but as I get back in the call of duty, I think it's gonna be a game changer. Had it for over a year love it definitely did me a lot of justice.

If you're in the market for a 1080P 480 FPS monitor, and a 4K 240 FPS monitor. You found it. I personally wanted a 4k monitor for my eye health. Clearer images, less strain. Not a doctor, but it makes sense to me. But, i was also in the market for a 480 FPS monitor, cause I'm a computer nerd with an RTX 4090 and an I9-13900k. Why wouldn't i want 480 FPS for wrecking people at Call of Duty? First things first. A 240 FPS 4k monitor will easily cost $899, if not more. The only 1080p 480 FPS monitor I've seen was about $699. Get this one for $1,299, and you can do both, with an extra $300 in your pocket. Or buy it on sale or used, and save even more. The monitor can display a 24" or 27" 1080p screen with black borders if you need to do that size for gaming. I wasn't sure i could even push 480 frames. I can, but at a lower resolution. The monitor is amazing. With Freesync on, displaying a 1080p image, but in game rendering at a lower resolution i can play shipment on MW2 at a steady 480 FPS. And the monitor is OLED. So amazing image quality, response time, and contrast. OLED truly displays the most beautiful images. No monitor tech ever before, was this good looking. (My opinion, backed up by all the OLED nerds) Caveats i have so far? The contrast can be rough on your eyes. My understanding, the localized brightness (because each pixel self illuminates in OLED screens, the reason it can achieve such high contrast) in high contrast scenes your eyes adjusting can cause blurring images, not ghosting, like other monitor types experience. More like ghosting your own eyes produces. Kind of like staring at a light, then looking at a dark place and seeing the outline/image of the light you were looking at. It's your eyes doing that. But it doesn't happen with other types of screens besides OLED. (Not that I've experienced at least) Next issue, more nitpicky i guess: On excel spreadsheets, and on black screens. Image is sometimes different brightness's. Only where the screen is the same color, In excel, where cells are empty, there will be spots of lower brightness, and where text is written, it will be uniform brightness, scrolling causes this to move/change. I have experienced this on (2) LG OLED monitors. I still use them both, because it isn't a defect. I believe this is something to do with the OLED brightness adjusting. Not sure, When you scroll cells, and the cells themselves end up in the same place (same image displayed) the lower brightness spots will be different shapes. So it isn't an individual pixel issue, like i said. More like the brightness adjusting on the monitor seems to create the effect. Buy this monitor. For your eye health, and so you can GIT GUD at your favorite games.

I went from console gaming back to PC gaming and a 4k monitor made a huge difference paid with the right GPU, I have a 4k LG TV and decided to keep it in the network with this LG monitor!

This moniter is beautiful and the 4k is stunning Don't even get me started on the 480hz, its like looking through a window. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and savings.
