honestly, I was upgrading from a 2015 Lenovo, so it's a night and day difference for me really easy to set up. I will be careful and take your time with the two tapping screws that are on the back of the monitor no real complaints other than the screen being massive make sure you measure your desk and make sure that itll fit. The monitor also has speakers which a lot of gaming monitors do not on top of having a really good refresh rate and the actual picture looks great. (NEW Monitor is on the left)

Love the ease of set up and its very user friendly

A great choice for additional window space with 1 or 2 gaming machines. As a functional accessory for a larger gaming setup, this monitor has a lot to offer. Picture-in-Picture or Picture-by-picture provide a range of options for a dual-computer or dual input configuration. And with the built-in USB hub/switch, controlling two gaming machines with the same keyboard/mouse becomes a breeze. While wider screens can be off-putting, especially when I’m used to playing in a standard aspect ratio, this is a good balance. This is an upgrade from dual 27” monitors in my setup, and I love that the UltraGear matches the height of my 27” monitor. Using a 27” + this 34” works very well. The curve is slight and just enough to help compensate for the width of the screen. The choice of inputs (DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-C) means flexibility, and even though I only have one computer right now, the switching is perfect to allow for expansion. The image quality is excellent. Accurate colors, dark blacks, plenty of brightness. My only complaint is a minor one with the viewing angle. Viewing angle issues are always more pronounced with larger monitors, and with this one it feels like the corners and/or bottom appear less bright or vivid when I sit close to the screen. Controls are simple and intuitive, with settings menus for more advanced options, navigated with a joystick-type control on the bottom center of the monitor. The menus are straightforward with no extra bells and whistles getting in the way, while still providing full control over color balance, gamma, and other advanced options. Some displays are more efficient when it comes to power than others. I wouldn’t have thought about this except the power brick gets noticeably hot during use. Since this is a gaming monitor, it’s understandable that it’s a little more power hungry than others. At 240 Hz with HDR, it draws at least 60W. It’s less than half that with power saving features, 60Hz operation, and no HDR. The stand is sturdy and minimalistic, with a large base and a simple pillar that the monitor attaches to. It’s been a while since I saw one with “some assembly required.” I had to dig up a phillips screwdriver to attach the two pieces together. Worth it? Sure, I suppose so, just surprising.

Got this for my desktop setup - running ALienware gaming PC running RTX 4060Ti and my Xbox Series X console. Out of the box, setup is as expected. There is an included stand, power adaptor and HDMI cable. I although choose to mount via VESA mount. The power adaptor is a brick and pin connector. Not a standard 3prong cable. So be advised on that if you are running a power conditioner or surge. Its pretty long though. Once installed. PC picked up real quick and set up to default resolution 3440 x1440 at 60Hz. The monitor does support up to 240Hz for gaming. My setup can do 4K at 144or 1080P at 240. I prefer most my games to single player so pretty is better for me! I do shooter on the console! I did have one issue with PC connection. My walked across my keyboard and pressed who knows - It changed resolution. Took a bit of time to figure out what happened and restore. Totally on my PC side not the monitor. I do really like the ultra wide sof working though. Its almost like having 2 screens in one. For gaming on console, its plug and play as well. Really fast refresh and zero lag. They advertize 1ms but i can't discerne that! The ultrawide is really nice. and color and Brightness are right there. HDR is set for 400 and plenty bright for my distance from the monitor. And color is set for DCI-P3 95%. I haven't really worried about that for gaming but in HomeTheater that is abig big deal. Connectivety is wide open. HDMIx2, DP, USB-C. There are also extenision ports for USB connections if you need them. and a headphone jack! Bezel is small about .25 to .5 inch top and sides. Ther is the a small .1" and physical bezel on the bottom. Overall, Great monitor for both work and specifically gaming! High performer that also looks slim and sleek.

I’ve been really impressed with this LG UltraGear monitor. The 34-inch ultrawide screen provides plenty of workspace for multitasking and makes games feel much more immersive. The WQHD resolution is sharp, the 240Hz refresh rate keeps gameplay incredibly smooth, and FreeSync Premium helps eliminate screen tearing. The DisplayHDR 400 adds a nice boost to colors and contrast, making games and movies look great. I couldn't be happier with this 34" LG UltraGear. Upgrading to this monitor completely changed my gaming and desktop experience. The 21:9 ultrawide layout gives you massive screen real estate, which is fantastic for immersive gaming and perfect for keeping extra windows and chat overlays open while multitasking.The 240Hz refresh rate is incredibly smooth, and when combined with the 1ms response time and FreeSync Premium, motion blur and screen tearing are completely gone. The 1500R curve is just right—it wraps around your field of view perfectly without feeling distorted. Visually, the colors pop beautifully thanks to the 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, and the DisplayHDR 400 adds great depth to dark and bright scenes.The connectivity is another massive win. Having USB-C alongside HDMI and DisplayPort makes it incredibly easy to switch between a gaming rig and a work laptop, and the built-in USB hub keeps my desk clutter-free. The included speakers are a great bonus for casual viewing, and the ergonomic stand adjusts easily for perfect comfort. This monitor is great ! I bought it for my 13 year old and he uses it with his Xbox series x ! It responds very fast and is a great option when trying to find something that is affordable and really good ! I definitely recommend

I already had a 27” ultra gear monitor, for my wfh setup I added this 34” monitor and work has never been so productive. I am able to run many tabs, excels, and programs at the same time.

Out of the box I'm loving this monitor. It's packed very well and arrived in perfect condition. The LG UltraGear 34" WQHD monitor delivers amazing overall performance, outstanding picture quality, a phenomenal refresh rate, with an awesome minimal design. It looks like the perfect size, with resolution that makes everything look sharp and vibrant. Color reproduction is genuinely impressive, adding to the viewing experience whether you're working or watching content. The stand and frame are nice and minimal, keeping the desk footprint smaller than you'd expect from a 34-inch ultrawide. Whether for work or gaming, this display performs beautifully in both. Gameplay feels smooth and blur-free, with almost no screen tearing thanks to the fast refresh rate and response time. For work, the wide screen lets you set up multiple windows or applications side by side without constantly switching back and forth, a real boost to workflow and speed. The built-in speakers are decent, as is typical, though most will want an external sound system. Connectivity is strong with multiple USB ports, USB-C, HDMI, DP, and a headphone jack. Overall, a fantastic monitor for work and play alike.

So far I'm absolutely loving this 34-in curved monitor, I find it perfect for gaming as well as editing photos and videos alike. This monitor is very big and just fits on my desktop perfectly with no room to spare. I love that the stand is sturdy enough to support this as well as height adjustment built in as well. All in all this is a seemingly heavy yet sturdy monitor and stand combo. Colors look great it only takes a little tweaking to get them to look just right for my liking for editing photos I've taken as well as home videos I've made. I like that this monitor has display port inputs as well as HDMI inputs and USBC inputs as well. The screen is more dull as to the coating which is great for glare and reflective light it keeps it to a minimum compared to my 34-in curved OLED which really reflects light badly and picks up a lot of glare especially during the day. The refresh rate on this monitor is really good I don't notice any choppiness to it or refresh rate problems while playing games. I definitely recommend this LG LCD monitor to anyone on the fence.

Comment to LG-Your nameing convention makes me want to cry. This curved monitor is the midrange option for gaming and productivity. The strongest points for the LG 34G63 is: - High refresh rate for smooth gaming: 240Hz delivers fluid motion for competitive fast-paced games. FreeSync Premium provides low input lag w/ 1ms response offering responsive gameplay. Expect buttery-smooth performance when paired with a capable card. - VA panel: Excellent native contrast (~4000:1). Deep blacks give dark scenes excellent immersion compared to most IPS ultrawides. Vibrant colors with the wide gamut makes watching games and media pleasant. - Immersive ultrawide view: The curved 34" 21:9 screen is great for gaming offering a expansive field of view, movies, and multitasking/productivity for more windows side-by-side. - Connectivity and features: USB-C (w/ PD), HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort, USB hub, built-in speakers, height/tilt/swivel adjustments, and extras like Picture-by-Picture, crosshair, and Black Stabilizer. Versatile for both PCs and consoles. - Value: Competitively priced for a 240Hz ultrawide VA panel with HDR400. Especially with the solid build and slim bezels. The midrangieness also come with a few drawbacks: - Limited brightness and HDR: ~300 nits peak brightness is okay but not great in very bright rooms; HDR400 is entry-level and doesn't deliver the strongest highlights. - VA panel can exhibit some ghosting/smearing, especially in dark/fast-moving scenes (not uncommon with high-refresh VA panels, but mitigated by overdrive settings). Not as crisp for competitive FPS as top IPS options. - Some VA panels flicker with variable refresh rates at lower frame rates. - No pivot. Would be nice to have but don't code or have spreadsheets that are miles long, so I prefer wide over tall. The combination of high 240Hz refresh rate, strong VA contrast and ultrawide format at a reasonable price. The 34G63 provides smooth, wide-field gameplay with rich blacks in single-player, racing, and RPGs without breaking the bank. But be aware of your room lighting and tolerance for minor VA artifacts. This monitor is an all-rounder for gaming + productivity.
