I recently purchased the LG UltraGear 34” OLED Curved WQHD 240Hz Gaming Monitor, and it has exceeded every expectation. I primarily use it with my Apple laptop for my home office setup via a USB-C to DisplayPort cable, and the experience has been outstanding. The image quality is phenomenal, especially after running calibration on both my work laptop and my gaming laptop. I also connected my gaming laptop through HDMI, and the monitor handles both devices flawlessly. The colors are vibrant, the contrast is incredible thanks to the OLED panel, and the 240Hz refresh rate with 0.03ms response time makes everything—from productivity to gaming—feel incredibly smooth. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and HDR support are just the icing on the cake. Overall, this monitor has elevated both my work and gaming experience. Highly recommended!

This monitor is amazing. I really wasn't sure about the 800r curve when I first started looking. Looks very aggressive compared to 1800r but the 1800r just didnt seem like enough curve to me. Sitting in front of it though it doesnt seem that aggressive. I could honestly probably even handle a little more curve but this is just about perfect for me. Mostly gaming on it and I do have a secondary IPS to use for other things but I still do internet browsing and most everything on this one anyway without any issues from the curvature. Colors are fantastic, haven't noticed any issues with graying or purple tint on dark screens due to lighting but I keep it darker mostly. Sometimes use an overhead light and still no issues. Amazing for all the games I've played, CoD, Ace Combat 7, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Automobilista2. It is next level immersion to say the least. Also don't see any issues with text clarity but I don't work on it all day. Stand is very solid too

I don't typically write reviews, but I feel absolutely obligated to write this. I have been using an IPS 1080p panel for the last 8-10 years, and knew I was missing out on OLED, so I was shopping for the perfect ultrawide oled for me. I kept coming back to this one. The price was just too good to pass up. The unboxing was easy, and LG did a great job on designing the stand mechanism. You can easily unbox and set it up completely by yourself, took me about three minutes. First thing I did when I fired it up was check for ANY cosmetic issues, I didn't see a single thing. I fired up a greyscale test, because I kept reading about the banding issues that comes with oled. My eyes can practically see NO banding on 90% grey, The picture I attached might look like there's a tad bit of banding, but I don't notice it whatsoever. Then I looked at some HDR content, and man I was mad. I was mad I haven't jumped into oled sooner. The colors blow my old monitor out of the water. The response time on this panel is essentially instant. I could immediately feel the difference from my old 24.5" MSI 240hz monitor(The response time was either .1ms or 1ms, I can't remember)and that was a flagship model when I bought it. This monitor is as snappy as possible, and just looks great in every way. The 800R curve was daunting at first, but it has grown on me. I am glad I went with a monitor with such an aggressive curve. I genuinely can't say anything bad about this monitor. However, I have only had it for a couple weeks. I hope the oled care features onboard do what it's supposed to do and prevent burn in for a while. Quit shopping around. If you want a 34" ultrawide oled, this is the one to get. Hands down.

Great performance , durability , gaming smoothly at 240fps with open, recently purchased a different brand monitor with similar specs not even a month in panels went out and I was out several hundred dollars, with the LG I feel secure with my purchase that it will last for me in the long run while having performance greater than the other brands. Also very good design in this one, was able to route all of my cords through the base of the monitor and keep them neat, I am a neat freak when it comes to cord management and this monitor helped severely while not loosing any of its mobility as this has plenty of adjustment to go along with any game your playing.

I was skeptical about getting a display with this level of curvature (800R), especially coming from a slightly larger display (38") with a more subtle curve. I realized quickly after installing this new monitor, however, that the 'steep' curvature is actually WAY more conducive to workflow. I didn't realize to what extent I was turning my head left and right when using my old 38". With this monitor, I barely have to move my head; it's primarily my eyes. The colors of an OLED are simply unbeatable, especially (of course) the blacks. They are deep and rich, but the colors are still vibrant, and with a bit of tweaking you can make your display true to real life if you are a digital and print designer. Great deal and great quality despite being an open box product.

So glad I caught this beast of a monitor on sale. The picture quality is simply amazing. The hdr is top tier the refresh rate high. Can’t really go wrong wit this one. The 800r curve does take time adjusting

I’ve been using this monitor primarily for gaming, editing, and content creation, and it’s been one of those upgrades that immediately feels noticeable. The first thing that stood out to me was the OLED panel — colors look incredibly vibrant and accurate without feeling oversaturated, which makes editing and media consumption look fantastic. The sharpness at 34” WQHD hits a really nice balance too: tons of screen space while still keeping text and details crisp. Performance-wise, the 240Hz refresh rate and near-instant response time make everything feel ridiculously smooth. Fast-paced games feel more responsive and motion clarity is excellent. One thing I didn’t expect to appreciate as much was eye comfort. Even during longer sessions, the display feels easier on my eyes compared to panels I’ve used in the past, and the curved ultrawide format feels immersive without being overwhelming. Overall, if you game, create content, or just spend a lot of time in front of your monitor, this one delivers premium image quality, speed, and comfort all in one package.

This is one of my favorite purchases ive made for my computer. OLED is beautiful and this monitor makes it just that much more impressive with its size and curve. I was worried I wouldn't mess with the curve but as soon as I opened it and turned it on, i knew i was going to love it. Refresh rate is amazing, games look absolutely beautiful. Works for gorgeous story games and even competitive shooters.

i work as a dev. i was worried this monitor because its rated for gaming would suck with text. it's actually pretty sweet. such a beautiful monitor also. i have it hanging on an arm in my office. fits my build so well. currently, my favorite monitor. i had another lg (the top right in the attached photo) as my main monitor for 5 years... that one i love. i upgraded to this, and it really felt like an upgrade. i use it for coding + daily use as well as work and it's just awesome. when i lock in, ill bring it forward and i love the curve. feels so good. sometimes i will play games on geforce now. it looks fine. i didnt buy it for gaming

I don't know why people be hating on this monitor about text clarity but is fine is not like 4k level but I'm tell you color is on point very nice and the coating is very good is like a mix of matt and glossy I don't see any grain on this monitor even tho I was scared of getting this monitor because of the coating I'm coming from a qd oled 4k glossy and I'm tell you I take ultrawide any day of the week I got this monitor in a huge sale it was open box excellent only had about 42 hours of used this thing for gaming you gonna love it trust me

This monitor is something else upgraded from a 32 ultra gear lg amd the color and refresh rate I would recommend this to a friend or relatives

The 34” 900A-B is a great monitor for gaming and productivity. I upgraded from a VA panel and the improvement was night and day. Look for this monitor on open box and snag it while you can because it’s worth every penny. Only downside is that it’s usb-c pass through, which may not work for some users that have older motherboards. Opted for this instead of the Alienware 3425DW and I’m glad that I made the choice. LG OLED panels are just out of this world.

Went from a AOC 144hz ultra wide from 2020 to this and the picture is unbelievable, I really neglected the fact that the black is such a big deal too. The curve is great I thought it was too much at first but as soon as I turned it on I instantly realized the advantage of it and it does not look funny or odd. Love this monitor glad I made the jump.

Lg has been top notch when it comes to oled. Contrast is great and colors are solid. And the 800r curve wraps your vision fantastically

Everything about this monitor is as close to perfection as you can get, especially for the price point. Insanely easy to get it dialed into your preferred specs for gaming, colors jump right out of the screen at you. Perfect for high end gaming

This monitor has been excellent for me I love it on games and just daily use. The high refresh rate works perfectly. Just remember with older wide you may not play all kinds of games with the resolution settings.

Very good gaming monitor, if you want oled go for LG Ultragear because they perform so good with constant refresh rate. Beautiful picture quality and you will not be disappointed
