Everything about this monitor is just great. Refresh rate, colors, blacks, brightness. It really is a beautiful monitor. You will not regret it.

Got this bad boy on sale. I had been eyeing this one for a while. She’s so big and wide I love it. Definitely keep the monitor a good distance from your voice or you get this amphitheater type effect if you talk to close to the monitor. Overall love it. I did have the white vertical lines when brand new but I did the oled care option to clean the OLED’s and the screen has been perfect ever since. On top of it being Lg you get all the awesome apps that come with Lg.

Went from a tm ultra wide to this oled and wow the best upgrade I’ve made first used on a game looked great but then I turned on a 4k hdr video and this became the goat the 800r curve is fantastic for sim racing

AI scaling is good *****Cons***** speakers can be a bit on the quiet side Honestly, what can I say about OLED that has not been said by everyone. In the box, you get the basics: cables, controller, and the monitor. Setting up the base to the panel is easy, you just screw the base to the arm and click the monitor to the whole thing. Ports wise, you can hardwire the internet to the monitor or use WIFI, and you also get a USB C, 2 HDMIs, and 1 DP port. Coming from a 2K IPS, is just an experience you only live once. Image is crisp, sharp, and clear; image can be a bit saturated but with some calibration, it should be good to go. The whole OS is based off their LG TVs OS and works in a very similar manner with a few things added. You also have the option to customize certain settings for gaming, which is something that is appreciated. Sound, well I did not expect much since it's a monitor, but it’s decent, it's clear but just on the quiet side. I also tested the AI upscaler on a Nintendo switch and did ok and tried to smooth some things out but at the end it was the switch doing switch things. I wanted to try it with my PS3 but that thing is on its last leg. Another big thing is multitasking. For work sometimes I need to have several windows open, and I had gotten used to it with my triple monitor set up, but this monitor just makes things so much easier to navigate. Would I recommend this to someone looking to buy a large monitor? Absolutely. OLED coming from some of the best in the TV market is just something you really cannot pass up.

I really love this display for gaming. That is where it really excels. To be clear, this is indeed a gaming monitor which means that the refresh rate is very fast in order to keep up with the action in a game. Generally speaking, the resolution on gaming monitors is not at the high end of the spectrum (4K). The UltraGear resolution comes in at 3440 x 1440 (somewhere between 2K and 4K based on it's large width). This resolution is known as “Ultra-Wide Quad High Definition”. It gives you the vertical quality of 2K but offers a much larger horizontal space than a standard 2K format does. You can feel comfortable using this monitor in either a gaming or office environment, but there are several features that make it very suitable for gaming. So let's start with gaming. This monitor is absolutely made to game. And not only allow you to play games on it, but to render the games like you've probably never seen them before. This is a killer gaming monitor. The OLED panel makes colors look amazing. Vibrant, deep, rich... they are all valid words to describe the way colors look on it. If you've never actually tried out or owned an OLED, you should really try to see, or even better, use one. You probably won't believe how long you've denied yourself the absolute joy it will bring you. Combined with the 240 refresh rate and HDR, you have a monitor that will play most any game in stunning realism. It's also compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. And depending on your graphics card, you'll be able to play with the graphics settings turned way up. The 800R curve is perfect for sitting anywhere from about 16 to 26 inches away. At that distance, the screen wraps around you at a comfortable distance that allows it to be a pretty uniform distance away regardless if you're looking at the left or right edge, or dead on in the middle. It's fantastic for games (especially FPS), and it's even good for office work. I have a curved display at work as well, but the curve radius is just too big, probably up around 1000 or 1200, and I find myself actually moving over to the left or right when viewing things at the edges. The curve is just too shallow. The UltraGear is right at the sweet spot. I play mostly FPS games like the DOOM series, Resident Evil series, Star Wars Jedi series. Playing Resident Evil 4 or Resident Evil Requiem is an incredible experience. The level of crystal clear detail is stunning. The light bloom from torches is so realistic you squint your eyes until you're past the torch. The contrast between the shadows and lights or torches is crazy realistic. Shadows are frightening, and so true to life you keep doing double takes to make sure you didn't just see something move. In a fast action shooter like DOOM The Dark Ages, the display keeps up with the action. No tearing, no anomalies, just clear, sharp graphics. The rain and water sections are hugely realistic and beautiful. To help you understand my setup, I play on an HP Omen Desktop with a Core i7 CPU, an RTX 5070 graphics card and 32GB of RAM. This all plays into getting the best graphics for games, but without a good and capable monitor, the best machine specs won't matter. Despite being an OLED panel, the brightness can be set quite high. You can easily watch it in a bright room without any difficulty and the matte finish on the screen means there isn't any reflections off the front. So, for office work, this is a great monitor too, but if you're looking for sharp, absolute crystal clear text (like a 4K monitor provides), it's just not quite there. For that type of work you really want something closer to 4K to make everything sharp. I'm not saying things like text look bad on the UltraGear, but I am saying if you're used to 4K resolution for text and office work, it may seem a little lack luster compared to what you're used to. For office work, the 45” curved screen looks really good, no question about it. There's plenty of real estate to drag windows around and no matter where you place them, they're facing you. You don't have to move your desk chair to see the left and right sides better. I use this monitor 100% as a PC monitor for everyday office and gaming, but LG has provided it's LGOS as well. This is the OS of the monitor. I have the same OS on my 77” OLED tv. It's set up well, and easy to use. You can add any streaming app you like and watch it on the monitor. It comes with a remote to help you do that. I prefer to just use it as my PC monitor alone, and you don't need to do anything special in order to do that. The apps are there if you chose to use them. On the back of the monitor you have a Display Port jack, two HDMI jacks, an RJ-45 network jack, a USB-C and two USB-A jacks and a headphone jack. I'm using the Display Port jack. It also has a substantial stand alone power supply, and comes with internal speakers. The rear of the monitor also has some cool RGB LEDs on it. If your desk faces into the room, they look awesome, otherwise you can use them to backlight the wall behind it. The build quality is very sturdy and while I was mounting it on my desk arm, I didn't notice any flexing of the housing at all. It has standard VESA mount sizes of 100x100 and 75x75. Although you can certainly use the included stand if you want. I'm loving this monitor. It's deep rich colors and blacks are amazing and make anything look great, especially games. It has ample ways to connect to it along with a dedicated remote. If you have the space, you won't regret using a monitor this size. The curve really immerses you in any game action and lends itself very well to office apps too. The build is sturdy and only has about 1/4” bezels on the bottom and sides, slightly larger across the top. If you want, you can use the LGOS and watch any streaming app you like. LG also gives you a 2 year warranty. This is truly a beautiful display.

Bought the monitor on sale while browsing: Size and picture are perfect for my needs, and mainly use the product connected to an apple mac mini. A few days after purchase, came across reviews from SamTime and Gamers Nexus done just 2 weeks prior exposing LG's adware/spyware incorporated into the device which has been an issue mainly when connected to windows 11. Apparently Microsoft, LG, and McAfee have collaborated as a data farming cooperative. I thought it odd that initial set up involved a wi-fi connection to the monitor, and after seeing Gamers Nexus review, I reset the monitor so the device is not internet connected. LG's data farming can be modified in the window's directory, but not disabled. If the data farming tag is switched from default of 1 to 0, data is still transmitted to LG but with an indicator that the user does not want their data shared. As far as I can determine by casual internet search, this is not a problem with Mac OS, but beware if using with windows. Even more alarming is that the data farming code has been incorporated into older LG monitors, from about 3 years ago. Again, I encourage people to review Gamers Nexus analysis and investigation.

Upgrading to this 45-inch OLED monitor has been a total game-changer. The 240Hz refresh rate and near-instant response time make gameplay feel buttery smooth, and the OLED contrast and deep blacks look stunning. The immersive curve completely pulls you into the game. Absolutely worth every penny!

Very nice addition to my gaming rig. Crisp clear picture with an awesome refresh rate and response time. At first, I thought the curve to be too much but now I couldn't be more happy with it.

Display quality is really good. It was simple little heavy to put together by yourself but highly recommend it. The features were really good worth every bit of money.

this game on TV is curved like the style 240 Hz. It’s a great quality. It’s a really awesome TV if I could, I will give it 10 stars. I will recommend this to anybody that want to get a gaming monitor. This is the one to get.

As a first time PC gamer, I wasn't entirely sure on what to get. I did my own research, but if it wasn't for Kirk, the employee who helped me at the Potomac Mills location in Woodbridge, Virginia, I would've been lost. This is a great monitor runs great with my new ASUS ROG G700 I purchased along with it. The graphics are wonderful and it was a great deal! I'd go back to Kirk and Best Buy again and again for all of my monitor related needs. I will definitely come back!

I was able to get this during the Black Friday in July sale $700 off and wanted the larger screen, that’s bigger than my Alienware monitor, for different styles of gameplay, via console and pc. This monitor has been amazing on all ends! Highly recommend.
