  • White Lighting Details: Massive white range means more choice (and better circadian rhythms)
  • Why Wi-Fi?: Start with just one - no bridge/hub needed
  • Dimming Bulb: Dimmable via app and voice control devices
  • Program Schedules: Schedule on-off, fade, colour change for convenience, energy efficiency, and security when away from home

Product Manuals

Q: What's the main differences between this 80 dollar Lifx bulb and the lesser 60 dollar bulb? I plan to use in nightstand lamps to simulate sunrise to wake up. Which would be better.

A: The normal A19 LIFX bulb only does RGBW. The LIFX+ bulb also does Infrared for night vision on security cameras or infant monitors. The plus bulbs have the option to turn off the light and turn on infrared light that is invisible to people and works amazingly well in places like nursery’s or places where your security system may not see well at night.

Q: Do these work directly with Alexa without using IFTTT? If so, can you name the bulb like you do with Hue? I want to say is, "Alexa, turn off Master Bedroom Light." and have it work.

A: Yes--it works directly with Alexa without recourse to either a software or hardware bridge. Name it whatever you like--but make it something Alexa can understand clearly. She's heard plenty of swear words because she can't seem to recognize the name of one light in particular!
