Q: Why does it say "your choice of hues" in the description? I think someone goofed, aren't these the white bulbs? A hue is a gradation or variety of a color.

A: These bulbs actually let you choose from a bunch of different shades of white. Going from “candlelight” - an almost orange shade. All the way through to full daylight - which is super white. It can recreate incandescent, cool white, etc.

Q: Does the lamp you use this in have to even be plugged in? Or could it go without being plugged in and still light up?

A: Yes the lamp has to be plugged in or the light switch has to remain on
