Loved this movie. It really showed how poor children, in India, live and how easily they can be separated from family. Either through accidents, or trafficking. It was amazing how Sa roo felt so strong to find his birth mother, and how his love and memory helped him follow through.

I'd been wanting to see this movie, but was waiting for the price to go down. It was well worth the wait!! My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The storyline (which was true!) and acting were terrific! I would recommend this movie to families everywhere!!

There are those movies we enjoy but won’t watch more than once. This isn’t one of those. This is a heartwarming true story of loss, adoption and then finding the family you thought was lost forever. Amazing.

Great acting in telling of this true story. Dev Patel does an excellent job. Nicole Kidman shows the emotional struggles a mom of adoptive children has and not often seen. Sad but well worth watching.

Dev Patel has always been one of my favorite actors. He was excellent in this film based on a true event. The story line was well crafted and the acting of all the major actors was very good.

I was mezmorized by this movie when I first watched it. Was hoping to add to my movie collection. Saw it at a great price and bought it without any hesitation. It is must see movie.

Based on a true story, "Lion" is a solid entertaining movie that gives insight into conditions and culture on the Indian subcontinent, the emotions and realities of adoption, and the joys, sorrows and pull of family. Has a good pace. Earned several Oscar nominations. Not what I think of as a blockbuster, but worth watching.

Saw this title on sale and discovered I didn't have it in my collection, so decided to get it. Was very happy with the purchase.

The lead character is really enchanting, and the plot is tangible. Sometimes it's hard to describe movie plots because they don't have one! But this movie has a plot you can readily follow, and it pulls you in. a Very Good movie!

This one is a winner and I will be recommending it to everyone that I know. Definitely going to be a classic.

Picked this one up for no reason and yet I was amazed at the true story that was told. If you are looking for a story of life for a young boy that grew up to be a man with a goal, this movie is for you.

This movie based on a true story of faith,hope and human nature proves that love conquers all !
