We'll deliver, install and make sure your new gas range is working. We'll connect it to existing local utilities. Additional charges may apply if not up to local code requirements.
- Before we begin: To prepare for installation, clear a path from the street to the kitchen wide enough to accommodate the range. Make sure someone 18 or older is present at the appointment time.
- Disconnect the existing range: We'll disconnect the existing unit from utilites.
- Connect the new range: We'll install an anti-tip bracket (may require drilling into floor or wall behind your range) and any manufacturer provided hardware, including knobs and/or handles. Then, we'll connect it to your existing utilities using new gas line kit (sold separately, automatically added at checkout).
- Final steps: We’ll clean up and recycle all packaging and make sure your new range is functioning properly. Finally, we’ll answer any questions you may have and let you know how to contact us for future support.
- Purchase haul-away services for an additional fee: When you purchase a qualifying range from Best Buy, we’ll haul away and recycle or relocate your old one for you (not included).
- Potential Additional charges: Additional charges may apply for permits required by your municipality, cabinet or counter modifications, and utilities like valves or outlets which are non-functional or not-up-to code. Relocation does not include reconnection.

Q: Is a new gas connector kit included in the installation service?
A: No, the gas connector kit is purchased separately and is not included in the installation service.

A: Installer arrived without LP conversion kit. He then lied and said I should have gotten this in the mail. This was delayed a week already because again I was lied to about installers going to training on 1/3/23 and had to move the install to 1/10/23. I then found out it was back ordered. After delivery I was told the conversion kit is back ordered and can possibly be installed on 1/19/23. I paid almost $2000 with install for this. I will NEVER buy anything from Bestbuy again. They will go the way of Circuit City and other big box stores that has horrible customer service. They didn't even off a discount! NEVER AGAIN! I'll pay more instead of using BestBuy. Should be called WorstBuy
A: I believe the stove/range comes with natural gas connections. So if you have natural gas, then you don't need to change anything. Just verify at the delivery, that the gas you use is natural and that the oven/ range is set up for natural gas. The propane conversion is only needed, to my knowledge if you use propane gas (which is what is true for me).
