Bigger buttons but they have 2 functions. Battery needs charging nightly

I find this phone very adorable. It is much stronger than my mother‘s old phone and it’s user-friendly. The numbers are bigger. It rings louder. The screen is better. And I like the way you can lock the volume because my mother was always turning her volume down. I highly recommend.

We purchased the Lively Jitterbug Flip3 for our parents to use as a simple, easy-to-use alternative to a landline phone. The product is well-made, with large mechanical pushbuttons for a good tactile feel. However, the operating software requires you to deep-dive into the menu before you can access contacts or speed-dial. The scrolling menu is not easy for seniors to use, and does not have an intuitive feel. You must pay attention to the dark-blue highlighted item on the screen to select, which is not easy for seniors with aging eyes to see. The volume can be made loud enough for most users, but I suggest the Lively offer simple old-fashioned ring tone options for seniors not used to fancy melodies which seniors may not associate with a telephone ring tone. The language is limited to two options: English and Spanish. A phone with 1) a simple menu, and 2) an option to save and dial one-touch favorite numbers without having to scroll through the menu would have been a feature that would have made the phone a keeper.

Bought it for mom, the red one, she can see it better,she is blind in one eye and low vision in the other eye. She likes the bigger size and buttons, the flashlight, she can see the time better, she wishes she could see the battery charge better though
