Customer Ratings & Reviews

I love this headset. It is has crystal clear audio. The headset is lightweight for it's size. They're very comfortable around the ears. They're durable. The cushions are magnetic so easy to clean under and around. It has quad connection that I love and enjoy being able to use (Bluetooth, PC, Playstation, and Xbox). Some can be connected at the same time and easily swap with a quick button press. This headset has lasted me the longest.

The new Astro A50X have completely changed the way I game and create content. The sound is insanely clear—deep bass that doesn’t drown out details, and in shooters you can hear every footstep and gunshot with perfect precision. The built-in Dolby Atmos makes the experience even more immersive. My favorite feature is the base station with HDMI passthrough, which lets me switch seamlessly between Xbox, PlayStation, and PC without unplugging a single cable. Just one button and I’m set. That’s a game changer no other headset offers right now. Comfort is top-tier. The ear cushions are soft, breathable, and stay comfortable even after marathon gaming sessions. Battery life is solid, and since the headset charges while docked, I’ve never had to worry about running out mid-match. The mic is crystal clear with excellent noise rejection—perfect for streaming or team chat. In short, the Astro A50X isn’t just a headset—it’s a premium audio system for serious gamers. If you want pro-level sound, cross-platform convenience, and long-term comfort, this is the one to get.

Amazing sound quality and comfort! These headphones exceeded my expectations. The sound is clear, powerful, and immersive—perfect for gaming, music, and movies. The bass is strong without overpowering, and the noise isolation really helps you focus. They’re also very comfortable, even after long hours of use. The design feels premium and sturdy, and the charging stand is super convenient and keeps everything organized. Battery life is great, and the connection is stable with no issues. Overall, this is an excellent value for the price. I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and great performance.

Amazing headset would recommend to anyone!!! Amazing sound quality easy charging with the base and I can have all my devices connected at once so swapping between my consoles and pc are seamless!!! Never had it die on me while gaming and can answer my phone or watch anything while waiting on lobbies to load has been the best headset I ever bought definitely worth the money

I’m a Gamer and I’ve been using the Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED Wireless Headset for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of the best upgrades I’ve made for gaming. The sound quality is incredible—everything comes through so clearly, from quiet footsteps in shooters to booming explosions in action games. The bass is deep, but it doesn’t overpower the mids and highs, so you get a really balanced and immersive experience. One of my favorite features is the PLAYSYNC button, which makes switching between my Xbox, PlayStation, and PC unbelievably simple. No unplugging, no re-pairing, just press a button and you’re good to go. That alone makes this headset a game-changer for anyone who uses multiple systems. Comfort-wise, it’s excellent. The ear cushions are soft and breathable, and even after long gaming sessions, I don’t feel the usual ear fatigue I’ve had with other headsets. The headset feels sturdy but not heavy, so it sits nicely without sliding around. Battery life is another win. I can easily go multiple days without charging, and when I do need to, the base station makes it effortless—just drop the headset in and it’s charging. Plus, the dock looks sleek on my setup and shows me the battery and connection status at a glance. Overall, the Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED is absolutely worth the investment if you want top-tier sound, comfort, and convenience. It’s not the cheapest option, but between the audio quality, the cross-platform compatibility, and the premium build, I’d say it’s one of the best headsets out there. Love it.

The sound quality on the Astro A50 X is incredible. Footsteps, directional audio, explosions, and dialogue all sound extremely detailed and immersive. Switching between Xbox, PS5, and PC/Mac is seamless with the base station, and the wireless connection has been rock solid. The headset is also very comfortable for long gaming sessions thanks to the lightweight fit and soft ear cushions. Battery life has been excellent and the microphone quality is much clearer than expected. Expensive, but it genuinely feels like a flagship headset.

Amazing headset, super comfortable with amazing battery life and great audio. The Logitech app is nice and user friendly. Overall this is the best headset I’ve ever owned but the problem is I’ve had this headset for just over 5 months now and either the base station or the power cable itself seems to have crapped out. Naturally Logitech doesn’t sell replacement base stations or power cables, you have to replace the entire unit as a whole. I reached out to customer support and created a ticket and if approved I will be receiving a whole new headset entirely instead of them just replacing the base station and power cable. So good on them for that as long as they approve the claim but overall sad that a $400 headset could possibly only last a few months before something breaks.

Logitech's Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED redefines the gaming experience with an impeccable combination of comfort, power, and total connectivity , ultra-fast and stable connection, without interruptions, easily switch between Xbox Series X | S, PS5 and PC / Mac with the touch of a button. Base Station included: in addition to charging the headset, it allows quick management of the audio and connection. Dolby Atmos sound: offers immersive quality and precise spatial localization, perfect for competitive gaming. Foldable microphone with automatic mute: practical and clear for noise-free communication. Ergonomic and lightweight design, with soft ear cushions that remain comfortable for long hours of play. The best: its smooth transition between platforms and the charging base that keeps the setup tidy and always ready to play

I’ve been using the Logitech Astro A50 X Lightspeed for a while now. Overall, it’s a great headset, but it has some definite drawbacks given the premium price point. Pros: Excellent Audio: The sound quality is fantastic, and the spatial audio is great for pinpointing sounds while gaming. Massive Connectivity: The ability to hook up multiple consoles and a PC to the same base station and switch between them seamlessly is an incredible feature. Cons: Cheap Build for the Price: For a flagship, expensive headset, the build relies way too much on cheap-feeling plastic. It doesn't feel as premium as it costs. No ANC: At this high price tier, the lack of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is a pretty big omission. Overkill if you only play on PC: While the multi-system switching is a huge selling point, I’ve transitioned to only gaming on my PC nowadays. Because of that, I’m paying a massive premium for a major feature I don’t even use anymore. The Verdict: If you actively switch between a PC, PlayStation, and Xbox at the same desk, this is a killer setup. But if you are exclusively a PC gamer, it’s hard to justify the steep price for a plastic build and no ANC.

Packaging & First Impressions: The Astro A50 X arrives in a sleek, premium box that immediately signals quality. Inside, the headset is securely packaged alongside the base station, USB cable, and documentation. Everything feels well thought out and protected, and unboxing it is satisfying—no cheap plastics or flimsy inserts. Setup & Base Station: Setup is straightforward. Plug in the base station via USB, pair the headset, and you’re ready to go. The base station is not just a stylish display stand—it’s incredibly practical for daily charging. I love placing the headset on it overnight, so it’s always charged and ready for the next session. The wireless connection is rock solid, with zero dropouts or latency issues in my experience. Comfort & Build: The stock ear pads are soft and comfortable, with a good seal, making long gaming sessions easy on the ears. I swapped them for Wicked Cushions pads, which elevate the comfort even further, especially during extended use. The headband is adjustable and sturdy, and the overall build feels premium without being heavy or cumbersome. Sound Quality & Gaming Performance: The soundstage and imaging are phenomenal—easily the best I’ve heard in a gaming headset. In FPS games, I can pinpoint footsteps, gunfire, and other in-game audio cues with impressive accuracy. Music, movies, and general media all sound rich and immersive. The headset handles highs and lows well, and there’s no noticeable distortion even at higher volumes. Microphone: The mic is crystal clear. Friends and teammates consistently comment on how natural and detailed my voice sounds. Whether in competitive gaming or casual chat, it performs exceptionally well. Software & Features: The Astro Command Center software works seamlessly. Customizing EQ, Dolby settings, and other preferences is intuitive and stable—no crashes or glitches to report. Overall Experience: For something I wear daily, whether for gaming or media, the A50 X has been reliable, high-quality, and comfortable. The combination of excellent sound, top-tier mic, solid wireless performance, and convenient base station charging makes this headset a standout. Pros: Incredible sound imaging and clarity Crystal-clear microphone Comfortable, especially with upgraded ear pads Base station is functional and stylish Reliable wireless performance Easy-to-use software Cons: Premium price (but worth it for the quality and features) Stock ear pads are good but might not suit everyone Verdict: If you game frequently or just want a premium, versatile wireless headset, the Astro A50 X is one of the best options out there. For me, it’s become my daily driver for both gaming and general media consumption.

ve never used anything like this before. The sound quality is outstanding, and there is absolutely no background noise or interference while using it. Even during long gaming sessions, the audio remains clear and immersive. The battery life is impressive — it easily lasts more than two days, even though I use my PC a lot for gaming. It’s extremely comfortable, reliable, and well-built. I highly recommend this headset to anyone looking for great performance and long battery life.

I like the overall fit sound and feeling of the headphones a lot of people say they have a lot of clamp which I can’t tell and I have a pretty big head the switching from game systems with the press of a button if very convenient but annoying because I have a computer and my ps5 is right beside it and you can only use one at a time and and I want to stream my ps5 to discord sometimes other than that the headphones have bluetooth last 24 hours and charge pretty quick and there’s also a port to play and charge at the same time. The cups fit nicely and very soft and you have a option to switch them out and get the mod kit I wish there was noise cancellation for how pricey the headphones are but they all around are great and some niche and really nice things I like about it the quality of the headphones scare me a bit cause they are all plastic and the headphones swivel points are metal but I had a old pair of a40 and they lasted me 10 years since 360 days so if you don’t rage or beat them up they’ll be fine they’re very good looking and also come with a app you can adjust your side tone microphone sound and adjust your eq for the best gaming experience

Headphones are very comfortable, and greta for extensive use when gaming. My last pair of astros would give me a headache when wearing them for an extensive amount of time. And them being wireless is even better. They have a great battery life and games sound amazing on them. Set up was easy enough and straight forward. Only Con i can honestly can think is being more clear that you need an extra HDMI cable and a specific high speed so you can get the best out of the product. But othet than that I am very satisfied with my purchase!!

The Astro A50 X headset sounds fantastic and feels very comfortable for long gaming sessions. The wireless connection has been solid, and the base station makes charging and switching easy. The audio is clear, directional sound is strong, and the microphone quality is good for party chat and online play. It feels like a premium headset and works great across multiple platforms.

I just upgraded from the Astro A40's with the mixamp to the wireless Astro A50's and I could not be happier. I can get the same sound quality I've grown to know and love without being limited or inconvenienced by a cord. The bluetooth range is excellent, I can go downstairs to make food or across my house to use the bathroom and still be within range. The wireless charging dock comes in clutch big time. I have never once had this headset die on me, the 24 hour charge goes wild. I leave mine on the dock overnight to charge and I'm good to play as long as I want to the next day. It took me a little while to get familiar with the voice to game ratio on the side but it makes a lot more sense having used it for a couple weeks. My only recommendation, if you are using this with an xbox series x, please purchase an additional hdmi cord that is high quality. They include everything else in the box with your headset but you'll need one from your xbox to your tv (will come with the xbox) and one from the wireless charging dock to the xbox. Setting up the cables was a bit confusing but they offer online tutorials for every console/pc set up you could be using this headset for. This is my first set of wireless headphones by astro and I'm convinced. I was already set on sticking to astro for any future purchases from their sound quality and comfort to wear, but after seeing what this wireless headset can do, I will only be upgrading with the next set of wireless astro upgrades after these become outdated beyond use.

I had this headset for 3 weeks now and they do not disappoint. Sound quality is top tier and mic quality is good. Comfortably is not bad still on the heavy side but the ear muffs are comfortable don't bother me at all and I am able to wear gaming glasses with no problem. I also enjoy the app for the headset, you are able customize the sound settings for the mic and game. My only complaints is the wheel for volume, sometimes I move it when I turn my head only happens when Im wearing a hoodie (not that big of deal honestly) 2 complaint is Bluetooth when you have Bluetooth active it will have your mic cut in and out when in a party on discord or ps party ( disabling Bluetooth will stop it) again not that big of a deal. My last complaint is the setup for the whole headset (easy to up) its too much cords having cords run to your console, the charger, pc and monitor is to much. I being able to dock my headset after each gaming session thats a cool thing to have honestly but evey gamer knows less cords to deal with the better because we already have enough cords to deal with lol. 4/5 just because of the app if they can fix the Bluetooth setting. In conclusion highly recommend these headphones you wont regret it.

ive been using the astro a50 x for a bit now and its actually really good the sound is super clear especially in games like u can hear footsteps way easier than before it connects fast and switching between my xbox ps5 and pc is pretty easy which i didnt expect to work this smoothly its also really comfortable ive worn it for a few hours straight and didnt really feel any pressure or anything only thing is yeah its expensive but it does feel like a high end headset so i cant really complain

Bought the A50x as I have owned every generation of the A50 thus far and always enjoyed them. I have shyed away from Astro though in recent years to try other brands. The A50x was a iffy purchase for me not just because of its price but the horror stories online of it not working with certain monitors and or TV's. Also requiring a ton of cables for setup. I have a relatively clean minimalist setup and that really made me think long and hard. Ended up getting a set of the black model anyhow. Yes there are quite a few cables required for setup. I only have it connected to my PS5 and still have 4 cables coming out of the base station just to set it up properly. Also take into consideration that you will need to purchase an additional HDMI 2.1 cable as none are included and you need 2 for setup. I bought a 4ft Rocketfish 2.1 certified from Best Buy as well and it works perfectly. My monitor is the Asus Rog PG27AQDM OLED panel and i was nervous with it since I have read of issues with certain LG monitors and TV's and my Asus uses a modified LG panel. I either lucked out or my A50 base station has a new firmware as everything works perfectly just as it did prior to the A50. Some people have claimed their colors are duller or whatever but i have zero changes to my image quality. The A50 itself is just as comfortable as they have always been. Im debating on buying a set of Wicked Cushions for it but im not sure yet as the stock earpads are very nice. Sound is great to me right out of the box and my microphone comes across crystal clear according to those i have played with. Honestly very impressed with what Logitech has done with the A50. I mainly play shooters and its super easy to pinpoint enemies and other details with this headset

I fell in love with the A50’s and with next gen gaming removing the optical audio port, the sound quality declined exponentially. After trying Turtle Beach, Steel Series, Hyper X, and Astros A30’s, nothing could replace or compare to the experience of Astro A50’s and the charging system or flawless connectivity. Forget every wireless via dongle system with the countless unplug and plug back in reboots. When I heard the news that Astro would release the A50X’s, I was ecstatic. The only con of this headset is the price. After watching a few extensive review videos I came to the understanding of the price difference from previous generations and the new tech in this package. This docking system has a splitter to where if you have a Xbox series X, a PlayStation 5, and a PC, with the button on the side of the headset you can quickly switch sources. In my personal opinion, for Xbox series X, this headset is worth the investment for comfort, sound quality, and not a single wireless connectivity issue whatsoever. If you have two of the supported systems, I would say it is more valuable. If you have all three: Xbox, PlayStation, and a PC, it is one hundred percent worth the money. One headset for three platforms, with easy access between the three. No more buying a new headset for when you switch consoles or PC. I sold my method of transportation to buy this and I can’t leave the house now. I guess I didn’t plan on ever leaving the house again after securing this headset.

This headset was pricey, $400 wow. However the microphone quality is that of the A40 TR wired, which is a great thing. It's one of the only wireless headsets that I've had that actually has great mic and sound quality, with the game/chat mix. I don't use the HDMI switcher function, but I use it straight with my PC. The bluetooth function works seamlessly with my phone while using it on my PC. I do have a weird issue when using the headset for the first time of the day, where I press the voice mix button once and it restarts after some nastly loud clicks, but I will try to contact logitech support about it since I've had it for about a year now. Every other issue I've had has been fixed with firmware updates from Logitech. I do wish it used the old ASTRO app instead of the heavyweight logitech g software, but it is what it is. The stock earcups are fine, but I replaced them with some aftermarket ones that make it a closed system and contain the sound better. I do also wish it didn't need to be plugged in with a special cable, but again, it is what it is. Being able to plug in if it dies is a great feature, although it hasn't died for me once yet, even after using it for 12-16 hours at a time for work or play.
