The camera is decent. Much better than most of the cheap garbage that's out there. I'm not thrilled with the hinged mount for a laptop. It doesn't feel very stable. If something snags the cable like a cat or a dog, the camera will go flying! I would be happier with a spring loaded clamp that feels more secure.

This camera is well worth the price paid. The images are crisp and clear with no blurring like other cameras in the same price range, I like that I can show an accurate pic of myself and the person on the other end says its like a live person.. The microphone comes through with an almost natural tone like the person is in the room with you. we are very happy with this product and plan on buying 3 more for the rest of our computers.

My old webcam was almost an anachronism. The new Logitech cam has it beat a hundred ways and the price was surprisingly small.

My wife uses this to Skype and play upright bass with all her rock star friends around the world. Perfect video and audio.

Overall, this is a great webcam for the price. I use it for video calls with family and friends and I am told they can both see and hear me wonderfully. I use an older model laptop sometimes and was worried about compatibility, but the website offers an extensive array of software options to meet everyone's needs. My only real negative, as I mentioned above, is the way it attaches to whatever you are using. I am accustomed to a clip-like feature, but this webcam uses something shaped like a hinge. The hinge is not spring loaded or tight fitting either, so any slight movement or jostling and it will likely fall off. Also, since the camera sits at one edge of the hinge, and I am a petite person, even with the webcam itself angled in certain positions and using the independent camera controls for zoom, I still find it difficult to sit comfortably in certain positions and be seen well enough...the manufacturer recommends 3 feet from the webcam for optimal viewing.

Picture is excellent, especially for the price, does well in low light, and the microphone is excellent. Yes, there are higher-resolution cameras out there, but the larger the image, the more bandwidth needed for things like Skype in order to not get jumpy, and I find this resolution to be perfect for that purpose. In some lighting conditions (e.g. dark room and only light from monitor) the color isn't very good (very blueish), but most cameras have a hard time with that, and the manual adjustments available in the software help overcome that. All-in-all I like this camera. I have purchased three of them. One I got originally for myself and liked it, so when my kids needed one, I got them the same model, and this most recent purchase was for my mother who's old camera didn't support anything beyond WinXP and she just got a new computer so she needed a new webcam for Skype.

I bought my first C310 Webcam approximately 4 months ago so that my Sister and I could Skype from Germany. I bought this Webcam after careful researching several different cams and kept coming back to this C310 with the best reviews from C/net, Consumer Digest and customer reviews as well as price which is anywhere from $49.99 to $33.99 at Best Buy with sale price of $29.99 and I love this Webcam. It was super easy to install even by myself (65 yr old woman and I am not afraid to say my age). The Webcam fits on top of my flat screen Monitor and I am able to move and adjust the cam angle without the cam falling off the Monitor also the picture is sharp (darn that loose skin under my chin) all in all I was so pleased that I purchased the 2nd C310 for my son in Northern California, no Best Buy within 50 miles. All in all Logitech C310 is the best Webcam on the market so there is no need to buy the most expensive product so do your research for quality and price which vary wildly for Webcams and go with the Logitech C310 from Best Buy So today I m going to buy myself a Color TV dialing for Dollars is trying to find me.. so off to Best buy to look at the Samsung TV's and okay I will just sign off now......

The camera was a breeze to setup - I didn't even have to put in the included disk. Windows immediately recognized it and installed the correct drivers for me. The camera is very clear and the microphone seems to pick up my voice quite easily. The way it attaches to the monitor is a bit flimsy, however, it does stay in place once seated correctly. Overall, an excellent purchase for the price that I paid!

This was truly plug and play. No setup required beyond perching it on top of monitor. Purchased for good price combined with decent picture and microphone quality. Has been serving its purpose.

First, easy to use. Clip right on the monitor, plug in, and GO. Good picture, very clear, and really good sound isolation (as in, it doesn't pick up every little sound in the room, just the speech of the person at the computer). I am an online graduate student and occasionally have to interact in classes, and this webcam works perfectly for that! Skypes with ease too. Definitely beats most built-in's.

Logitech was my first choice because I have other products from this line. So it was an easy decision. I knew what I needed from this product and it was reasonably priced. It was easy to connect and was able to adjust the sound to the level desired. The quality of the webcam was great, no delays and the sound was clear.

I purchased this webcam after reading a few reviews on the web. Logitech are good at what they do and so I felt confident of buying one of their products. This webcam was simple to install and use. The picture quality was proved by making the image fullscreen and it was still great. Previous webcams have been good when viewed in a small window but get let down when expanded, not this one. I have no hesitation in recommending the C310. Only downside was the clip/mounting for the top of the monitor. It isn't the sturdiest and can only just be angled down enough to cope with young children using it who naturally sit lower.

This camera is a plug-in and go kind of camera. The microphone is crystal clear and the picture is awesome.

For the money, this is a great camera. Picture quality is pretty good and the mic seems to work well. I only use on occasion so I couldn't justify spending twice the price for 1080p. Install was easy, only thing I had to do was go into my device manager and change my mic source to this. Since then it has worked perfectly every time I've asked it too.

Camera was easy to set up, it works perfectly in my computer, A plus for easy, it took a few moments to learn how to use the key board but once we learned it's a breeze to set up an account with Google TV, it's like Skype, only better and it's free. The picture, and sound is just amazing. We love it and show it off to all are friends and family. Worth every penny.

Webcam was super easy to set up and windows detected it right away and had the driver available for download. Looks super clear and is a major upgrade to my old Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 which caused bsod! The cord is about 3' in length maybe less.

Was easy to install. Windows 10 picked it up right away without needing to download any drivers. Video quality is excellent for the price. Definitely would recommend getting this especially if its on sale.

We purchased 2 of these so my wife and I could Skype while I worked out of town and I could also see my granddaughter. We had a very old Microsoft webcam that one of these is replacing. The picture quality is very good. We have high speed internet in both locations and the picture looks great. Occasionally picture can be a little fuzzy but that is not a camera issue I believe it to be a service provider issue at one of the locations during peek times of the day. Built in mic works well, most of the time I can hear my very soft spoken granddaughter with out any problems. Occasionally there is a weird feed back noise that I have not gotten figured out yet. Either has something to do with the placement being to close to speakers or a settings issue with the mic. But even with the odd sound it is still a very good camera. I played with the Logitech software that you can down load from the web site. Used it to take a photo of me in my new chair to show the wife and the quality was pretty good. It also has the ability to set up camera for motion detection and it seems to work okay. At first it locked up my computer but I had some other video issues with other software. After a video driver update those went away. Have not tried the motion sensor since the upgrade so not sure if it will cause an issue or not. Overall I am very satisfied with the product.

I have had other webcams before, but this one beats them all. Not only does it sit perfectly on top of my monitor, but it allows me to easily adjust its vertical angle withou having to adjust the entire webcam. There are some really cool features I use with the Logitech WebCam Controller software, such as the Follow Me feature, which tracks your face when you move. Not only does it track by zooming in/out, but it also tracks by panning up/down/left/right. I use the webcam for work meetings and the HD quality gives a very sharp image and the built-in mic picks up quite well too. I have had this webcam for over a year now.
