Customer Ratings & Reviews

I’ve used the razer deathadder and razer naga and In my opinion they don’t even compare to the g502 hero. I’ve had the g502 for about 2 days and collectively used the mouse for 8 hours of gaming and 10+ hours of productivity and I am very satisfied with this mouse. I have pretty small hands and this mouse still very comfortable in the hand. I really cant think of anything that would make someone not want to purchase this mouse besides the fact that the scroll wheel down button is pretty resistant so if someone likes the use the middle mouse button then it might be a problem. However, there are 10 other programable buttons so for the majority I think this shouldn’t be a problem. The middle mouse button is also cold to the touch most of the time which isn’t bothering but it might annoy some people. I realized that the left wheel tilt button is easier the press than the right wheel tilt button (not by much). The hyperscroll is fun to fidget with. When I was working it was helpful but not that accurate. The left and right mouse buttons are really easy to press. For me it took a few hours to get used to because the mouse I was using right before (razer naga) had more resistant clicks. With the g502 I definitely feel faster in my movements in game and at work. The side buttons are really nice the click and easy to locate even in the dark. It did take an hour or 2 to get used to the positioning for me but it was very comfortable once I got it right. The rgb isn’t great but I personally like the subtleness or if (unlike the massive lit razer logo). The mouse itself is just as/a little less heavy than the razer naga but it’s good weight for me. The extra weights included feel premium but make the mouse a little too heavy (I do know some people that have up to all the weights in their mouse. It’s all up to personal preference). The grips on the sides and the glides on the button of the mouse are very nice and I have no problem moving or lifting the mouse. The glides are very smooth. I use my mouse on a steelseries mouse pad and it’s great. My palm wrests very nicely on the mouse and the texture is very comfortable. The software isn’t too great but gets the job done. I was definitely lost for a good 10 minutes until I figured out how to program the buttons. The on board memory is great because I can save my presets and never have touch ghub again. My favorite part of the mouse has to be the sensor. It just feels so much more accurate. I play rainbow six seige mostly and after getting the mouse I averaged 4-12 kills per game which was a huge step up because before with my naga, that has an atrocious sensor, my aim was very inconsistent and made playing not fun. Overall the mouse is amazing and personally I have no complaints.

If you choose any other mouse besides this one you’re doing it wrong. Logitech knows exactly what’s up when it comes to gaming and they have proof with this mouse right here. It has 5 programable buttons that you can set to whatever you want. Also has a dpi button that changes your mouse’s sensitivity and a mouse scroll wheel lock that can make your middle mouse button scroll freely or normally. Fits my hand perfectly and everyone that I have recommended this mouse to have loved it and I hope you do too! Not to mention it does light up, in case you like that. And it comes with weights that you can add to the bottom of the mouse in case it is too light

What happens when you have a heavy little mouse and you are running around shooting at people in game? Bam! Killed by a 12 year old and yes - that little brat is dancing over your corpse. I ordered the Logitech G502 Hero gaming mouse from the Best Buy website. I blinked twice and it was on my doorstep faster than Chinese fried rice delivery. Super light weight, precision laser, clicky buttons, and it looks fly too. Best part about this mouse: Get back in the game and I see that little punk jumping around in the distance so I pull out the sniper rifle. Guess what? This mouse has a freaking sniper button. I hit that joint and the cursor slows for precise accuracy. I peg that crumb snatcher right in the skull. Could I do that with my old mouse? Heck no. Now who is dancing over who’s body? That’s right. Me. The new owner of one of the best mice in pc gaming. Rgb rainbow disco candy lights? Yep it’s got em. Weight you can add to make it as heavy as a dump truck? Yep it’s got them too. If you want to step up to the next level then get this mouse and slay nabs!

Purchased for a friend as a birthday gift since his older Logitech mouse (I believe it was around six years old) started to experience an issue with the right mouse button. After messing it with off and on since I use his computer occasionally I feel I have enough experience with the mouse to write a review but I wanted to be to be clear that this mouse is not my daily. Pros: Build quality and ergonomics feel solid and I felt no discomfort even after several hours of use whether the activity be gaming or just browsing. Actuation force needed for top and side buttons is minimal with average travel distance although I do feel a difference between the left and right top buttons when I press down but I think that has more to do with me than anything. Clicks are audible but not loud enough to be distracting. The top cover is not one solid shell so Left and Right mouse buttons have individual tops. If you game competitively (especially playing FPS) this is a must have feature. My Razer Lancer TE is a one piece top shell and feels sluggish compared to the G502 Hero when playing games like CS:GO Valorant and Overwatch. Buttons are mappable (to be fair almost all gaming mice can do this) and the mouse has a DPI clutch that can be used to adjust quickly for precision shooting and then resets back to the previous setting quickly. Weight is adjustable if you want to customize. I recommend maxing it out and then removing the weights in stages to see what works for you. Finally the heart of the mouse is the Pixart PMW3366 sensor that is usually found in higher end mice ($75 and up) and is what helps the G502 it punch above its weight when it comes to optics. RGB is present on the mouse but it is very minimal with only the G symbol and the DPI selection indicators being illuminated (can be turned off in software). The Logitech software (G HUB) has in my opinion one of the best UI's I have ever used and is generally easier to use when compared to the other RGB/control software I have used from some other companies. I also have a G910 Orion Spectrum I use as a secondary keyboard and G HUB works well with that too. When it comes to procedures like creating key bindings, making/saving profiles, and customizing the RGB it works quite well. Finally, the price which generally hovers around $50 which is more than fair for a quality mouse that will last you for years. Cons: RGB again is very minimal which could be an issue depending on visual taste. The mouse is kinda small and that could be an issue for someone with large hands especially if you experience discomfort with the thumb rest as you might find yourself pressing DPI clutch in the middle of a fire fight. It does have very gamer look going on which can be a turn off for some. The free flowing scroll wheel with clutch can seem out of place for some since this is marketed as a gaming mouse. I really wish they squeezed in at least one (preferably two) side buttons for the right side of the mouse. General lack of buttons could be an annoyance for games like a MMORPG.

This fan favorite mouse has been around quite a while now, with the price near the lowest it has ever been. For me this mouse met a lot of the criteria I wanted at the price I wanted. Negatives: Logitech's G Hub software leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the buttons don't feel all that great in quality (particularly the G5 button has a weird rattle on mine). I wish it were slightly larger for my XL sized hands (I find myself sliding my hand down the mouse to get my thumb lined up correctly on the buttons, which makes it rather uncomfortable after long sessions). It's pretty easy to accidentally hit the G7 and G8 buttons. Wired. Pros: The braided cable is 7-feet long and very flexible. The unlockable scroll wheel feels great. There are tuning weights included (admittedly I do not use them). The bottom slides really smoothly across the surface. There are many buttons that can be programmed how you like. Aesthetically it looks terrific. Has RGB that can be customized in the G Hub software. Price is a very compelling offer. Wired.

I had this make model for about four years and I personally dont like giving reviews so soon after purchasing. This is my honest review and feelings about this mouse. This mouse is honestly great. Its a great option compared to mouse that have 2 buttons and that are very small to grip for my hands or someone’s. The durability on the mouse is very good; it can handle drops from at-least 40inches high. Still dont drop it. This mouse can last you for years if you do light gaming and just everyday use such as school and work. When I used to play video-games heavy , the mouse lasted me 2 years especially after the abuse it got when i would get mad/frustrated .People complain that the mouse being heavy, but honestly to me it feels very light to me when I removed all the weights. If you care so much about a mouse being heavy; it may not be the mouse its just you aim. The maintenance on the mouse aka cleaning it is not my personal favorite of the mouse. When it gets grimy it make the mouse dull with all the fingerprints. I usually use a tooth pick and some q-tip to remove the gunk of the mouse. Other than that mouse is very affordable and reliable. Which I think logitech was going for this mouse. Im thinking later I would get the wireless version of this because I love this one so much. I’m going to show the gunk that may occur on the mouse.

one of the greatest mice around for an excellent price, the mouse has weights so you can make it lighter or heavier, I like to use them all so it's heavy but still very manageable, the RGB can be synced with other Logitech devices using the G hub software having everything synced looks cool. I got it on sale for less than $30 so I got the best deal around, the programmable buttons are easy to configure and a must on every gaming mouse now a days.

I switched to PC gaming a little over a year ago and had a set of crappy Red Dragon peripherals (mouse and keyboard) and ive been using them loyally since I built the rig. I honestly thought pricey mice and keyboards were entirely scams. Like why is this plastic double the price of this plastic? They look the same, have RGB, side buttons, etc. But the real kicker with this mouse is the software. The RGB and DPI is fully customizable and every button on the mouse, including left and right click, can be keymapped to do anything you want and even has suggestions. My current 3 are DPI Up, DPI down, and a button to mute my mic on discord so I dont have to multitask in a firefight. 100% recommend this on sale.

I've been using Logitech most of my life, I bought this one to replace an old (even cheaper) model that lasted me a good while. I've had it for the better part of a year now, and no complaints. I like having the ability to add weights to it, though I usually leave it completely empty. The integration with the LGHUB is fine, though the app itself is not exactly the best one I've ever used. At this point I stick to Logitech for a unified ecosystem where I can. The hardware is great though. I intend on upgrading to the wireless light speed variant some time in the near future

[Employee of bestbuy] For a wired mouse, this is fantastic so far. Comes with different weighted plates to customize to your liking, is light on its own, and has RGB. The side button are in nice places, and with the Logitech app, you can customize DPI, RGB, and keybinds.

The Logitech G502 HERO is a high-performance wired gaming mouse known for its precision and customization options. Equipped with the HERO sensor, it offers up to 16,000 DPI, delivering ultra-accurate tracking for competitive gameplay. The mouse is designed for comfort, featuring an ergonomic shape and customizable weights for a personalized feel. Its RGB lighting adds a touch of style, and with 11 programmable buttons, it’s highly versatile for various gaming setups. Overall, the G502 HERO combines precision, comfort, and customizability, making it a great choice for serious gamers.

Customizable even with it changing layouts for specific games once you start them on your PC. Great options and the mouse wheel even has left and right buttons to use in addition.

I bought this for my grandson. He absolutely loves it. It is a gaming mouse and has A LOT of incredible features. It has adjustable weights, 11 programmable buttons, on-board memory, PC / Mac, LED lights and the scroll wheel can change from clicking to a smooth roll transition all with a side touch of your finger on the mouse wheel. It is very lightweight and fits wonderfully in the palm of your hand. For the price too, you cant go wrong. Best purchase EVER!!!

I got this mouse on a discount, and I'm so glad I did, the wights add amazing feel to this and all of the different customizable buttons are great too. I would add though, the buttons to change the DPI is to close to the left click and I keep accidentally hitting those, but that's my only complaint, the rat is amazing!

Best mouse I've ever used. The ergonomic grip is comfortable for all-day mousing, and the sensor is accurate. I have an older one that is still going strong after three years and the buttons haven't become unresponsive. The two side buttons are great for navigating back and forward in Firefox and other applications which support it. Can't actually emphasize how nice of a feature that is for desktop use. I like that the scroll wheel can be unlocked so that you can rapid scroll. It's sensitive enough that you can flick it, watch a page scroll, then immediately stop it with your finger. Like, that's awesome. It's just a mouse, but it makes a real difference. Cord is long, lightweight, and has a nice fabric feeling. You can adjust the mouse weight using the included weights in the box. I didn't install the Logitech bloatware software, only using this with whatever automatic driver on Ubuntu. The aim button reduces the speed and helps you with shooters, though I more play RPGs and can't comment on the usefulness of it.

The scroll wheel is a work of art. It's smooth and keeps spinning forever. It's a fidget spinner disguised as a mouse. All in all, a great mouse with multiple programmable buttons, ergonomic grip, multi dpi settings and rgb lights. But the scroll wheel exceeded my expectations!

Im not in mouse number 4, and after switching from the Razer Deathadder Elite 3 wireless, there genuinley no going back. Its Durable, light(Has an included weight adde if you prefer a heavy mouse, and the cord is long. The logitech Ghub app is Okish, it has its flaws but it does the job. As a side note, The app needs to be open to run keybinds youve added on the mouse. Overall the best gaming mouse ive ever owned. If you have the money, get the g502 wireless ones. But this one is just a barebones out of the box winner.

I’m a huge fan of the G502 Hero. I don’t care for the weights you can add, but I know that’s not the case for everyone. Very solid functionality. Hand grips feel great. Fits in my hand really well. Love the side mouse buttons that aren’t in the way of my thumb. Stores many profiles to hold different DPI’s which is good if you got a few folks using the mouse. Great customization of the colors the mouse emits. I don’t use it, but the aim slow down button is pretty interesting to have!

Best mouse for shooting games there is the slow dpi button is a must for sniping. The custom weights you can put into it change the game. 15/10 great mouse.

One of the best computer accessories i have ever perchased Logitech is really atepping up their game. Only complaint i have is that the mouse speed options could use more personnal adjustment tweeks or at least more options because it goes from turtle slow to time travel fast with very little adjustment room butbother then that its a very smooth mouse that is very durable ( self tested - league player if you know what i mean). And plenty of weights to add to get the perfect weight for your play style or needs.
