I’ve always taken ergonomics over weight. Ive tried the G PRO wireless, Logitech Superlight Pro, the G305. I preferred the original G502 over any of these despite it being significant heavier. Even though the weight reduction isn’t inpressive on paper, the weight distribution on the G502X makes it feel significantly lighter. This translates to quicker flicks, and overall less fatigue. Oh, did I mention that it still has the infinite scroll wheel? The only thing this doesn’t have is RGB, but I’m fine with that.

I can't say enough good things about the Logitech G502 X Wired USB Gaming Mouse with HERO 25K Sensor. This mouse has transformed my gaming experience in ways I didn't think possible, and it has quickly become an indispensable part of my setup. Precision and Responsiveness First off, let's talk about that HERO 25K Sensor. The level of accuracy and responsiveness it offers is nothing short of extraordinary. Whether it's rapid-fire clicks in an FPS game or meticulous movements in a strategy game, this mouse captures it all without a hitch. It’s like having a direct line between your thoughts and your in-game actions. Ergonomic Design The ergonomics of the G502 X are impeccable. The curves and contours fit naturally into the hand, making it easy to game for extended periods without any discomfort. The tactile buttons are well-placed, providing quick access to essential commands without feeling cluttered. Customizable Experience Another huge plus is the customizability. The mouse comes with a range of buttons that can be programmed to your heart's content. Whether you want to set up macros for complex actions or simply assign shortcuts, the sky's the limit. It allows you to tailor the mouse to your specific gaming needs, making it a truly personal piece of hardware. The Best of the Bunch I've had the opportunity to use several different gaming mice, and let me tell you, the G502 X stands head and shoulders above the rest. The HERO 25K Sensor alone sets it apart from the competition. When you combine that with the ergonomic design and the customizability features, you've got yourself a winning formula that's hard to beat. A Game-Changer in Various Genres The high sensitivity of the HERO 25K Sensor has noticeably improved my performance in a range of game types, especially in first-person shooters. The quick response time and pinpoint accuracy give me a distinct advantage in competitive scenarios. A Breeze to Set Up Let's talk setup. It was an absolute breeze. Logitech's software interface is intuitive, and within 15 minutes, I had the mouse tailored to my specific preferences, ready for action. Build and Aesthetics But what really completes this package is the build quality. It feels sturdy and substantial, designed to last. The sleek black finish is eye-catching but not flashy, striking the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. Wired but Wondrous Some might argue that being a wired mouse is a drawback, but that's far from the truth. The wired connection ensures a lag-free experience, making sure that your in-game actions are perfectly synced in real-time, something that's absolutely crucial in competitive gaming. Durability and Longevity I've put this mouse through some pretty intense gaming sessions, and it's held up like a champ. There’s been no noticeable wear and tear, and its performance has been consistently reliable throughout. Versatility Beyond Gaming Despite being a gaming mouse, the G502 X has proven itself to be incredibly versatile. The customization options extend well into my workflow for tasks like graphic design and data management, making it an equally effective tool for productivity. Fine-Tuning Your Experience The Logitech software interface offers a lot of room for customization. You can get as detailed as you want with your adjustments, allowing for a tailored experience that feels just right. From DPI settings to button mapping, everything can be tweaked to your personal preferences. Final Thoughts In summary, the Logitech G502 X Wired USB Gaming Mouse with HERO 25K Sensor is a marvel of modern gaming technology. It delivers on every front—performance, comfort, customization—and then some. It’s not just a great gaming mouse; it’s a great mouse, period. If you're serious about your gaming or any other computer-based activity, the G502 X isn’t just an option, it's a necessity.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! The Logitech G502 X Wired USB Optical Gaming Mouse with HERO 25K Sensor is definitely a popular choice among gamers for its precision and reliability. Logitech is known for making high-quality products, so it's great to hear positive feedback about their gear.
This mouse is not exactly a great deal but if you plan on just using it for hardcore gaming or media creation like photoshop or adobe, its pretty handy and features a lot of executable functions and buttons. I wouldn't buy it twice - but once for sure.

The G502 line has been amazing for years. I'm transitioning for a heavily used 502 that I wasn't always kind to, and the left mouse button finally started to give out on me. The new 502x has new switches under the top buttons which are said to be even more reliable. That's great! The only thing I'm missing is the weight, I love a heavy mouse, as my old 502 was loaded up with weights. But for the price, and the quality, and the features...this mouse can't be beat.

This is the G502 X which is almost identical to the G502 Hero with the difference that the Left side button called sensitivity clutch or sniper button is removable and this is the reason I picked it up where on G502 Hero the button is not removable but it cost a lot less than the X model. I hate mice with this sniper button because is blocking my thumb to grip mouse comfortable, they have it also on Razer Basilisk and Corsair M65 pro, so I was very surprised to see Logitech make it removable and there is a little magnetic piece that attached to the hole once button is removed. Other than that the mouse is accurate, buttons click nice but little loud, cord is not braided. The only downside is it's a little heavy and the side buttons are easy to click accidentally when you don't need to. Also the price is very high at $79 compared to the G502 Hero which on sale go at $35. Logitech need to make the sniper button removable on all mice that have it, not just on this one, and all other manufacturers as well.

My trusty G502 Lightspeed had a weird sensor malfunction, so I had to retire it. I decided to skip the G502 X Lightspeed and the Plus as their price was too high, and opted for the G502 X wired model instead. I am genuinely blown away by this mouse. It is seriously an upgrade to my old G502 Lightspeed in every single way. The new skates are super smooth, the build quality is better as there is no more scroll wheel rattle, and best of all the weight is AMAZING! For those who don't know the old G502 Lightspeed weighed around 115g without any weights. The new G502 X Wired model weighs 83g and that reduction in weight makes a massive impact in gaming performance. It's actually kind of spooky how lightweight this mouse is, given how used to I am with the old G502 Lightspeed. I can flick so much faster/smoother in game now with this mouse. My aim also seems to be better at tracking targets than it was before, and I've only used this thing for about a day! Overall, this G502 X wired model is fantastic. It's built super well, is lightweight, has the same features as every other G502, has super smooth skates, has a nice lightweight cable, and is very reasonably priced. A true worthy upgrade to any G502 Hero/Lightspeed owner. Slight con: the new optical switches are great as they pretty much guarantee no more double click issues, however they are slightly louder/tinnier than the switches in the old G502 Hero/Lightspeed.

It's a great gaming mouse. Buttons don't stick like my previous Logitech and Corsair gaming mice. Smooth and accurate. But the software is terrible. Not intuitive. I'm not sure why the software engineers decided to make such an awful, overly complicated and convoluted companion piece of software. You need an engineering degree to figure out how to save your mouse settings to the mouse itself vs. running the software on your computer. How difficult is it to put a big save to mouse button on the software?

Loved the original 502 except the weight. This new version is slightly improved upon the original in most areas and most importantly with much reduced weight. Almost perfect. Just wished Logitech retained the old braided cable instead of the new rubber cable, then it would be perfect

The Logitech G502 has been an excellent mouse, and I honestly do not have anything bad to say about it. It feels comfortable in my hand, tracks accurately, and works extremely well for both gaming and everyday computer use. The buttons are placed conveniently and give me plenty of options for assigning shortcuts, controls, and other functions. The mouse feels responsive and precise, especially in competitive games where consistent aiming and quick inputs matter. I also really like having the additional side buttons because they are useful without making the mouse feel overcrowded or confusing. The software makes it easy to adjust the DPI, customize the buttons, and save settings based on my preferences. Overall, the G502 is comfortable, reliable, highly customizable, and performs exactly how I want it to. I have not experienced any meaningful problems with it, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile gaming mouse that is also great for regular daily use.

I had bought this mouse to replace the G502 I previously had, which was experiencing some double-clicking issues. It retains the same, or better comfort in my opinion, while shaving off some of the weight, making it easier to use without really sacrificing anything. I like the rubber grip added to the mouse wheel, the previous version had a metal wheel which felt sharp sometimes.

I have ownwe previous models, and i have to say this one is by far the best wired for the G502 l. Its first of its kind to be lightweight, in comparison to others and the the new hybrid clicks are just so responsive and sound great . No RGB on these but who cares. You wont see it if your glued to the screen anyways.
