Excellent keyboard! I have now owned it for 16 months and the keys still feel as good as when I first bought it. Some of the keys have begun to fade but it's not a big deal. Keyboard is pretty heavy and well built. Keyboard could use some cleaning now but overall I am very satisfied with it.

After 1.5-2 years it got a double typing problem (in my case letters T, E, R and O). After quick googling it turned out the problem was (and still is) quite widespread for this model - a lot of people start experiencing the same issue after ~1 year. There's no software fix, it's a bad design/engineering problem, i.e. hardware. Logitech is aware of that and simply replaces such keyboards. I wasn't lucky - it started 1 month after warranty period had expired. Will stay away from this brand in future. Re the keyboard itself - it's clunky and has a rather long keypress distance. The feeling from typing is not satisfying - feels muddy/mushy, too deep. The G-buttons positioning is horrible - be ready to constantly press G1 instead of Escape and G3-G4 instead of Tab/Caps Lock. I like the full size numeric pad and standard location of the ins/del/home/etc block. Media buttons are kind of useful (not a big fan of those in general), more importantly they don't impact regular work (like G buttons described above). Wireless connection is stable. Uses regular AAs (no internal battery) which last long. Also note that this keyboard is wireless only, no cable at all; keep spare batteries nearby just in case. I'm a software developer and a gamer - basically someone who spends 12 hrs a day before keyboard - trust me, this one is NOT a good one. This is not the first time Logitech screws up like this (probably because they produce their own keys, instead of buying them from a good producer, e.g. Cherry?).

Chose this keyboard since most wireless gaming keyboards do not come with NumPad and this does. Has been a great keyboard with zero issues with keyboard itself. Logitech G Hub software that keyboard uses has been finicky and some versions of the software have flat out not worked for me and had to wait for an update to use again.

[Employee of bestbuy] So I bought this in 2021, didn't pay too much for it and for the price I paid it felt like it was worth the investment. It is a good keyboard until the dreaded double type issue pops up, look it up on Google. This can be due to dirt, but it also has something to do with how the circuit board flexes in the center. Overall it's great while it works but it will fail and if it is out of warranty? You're donee. Don't ever pay full price for this product.

This is not an overly cheap keyboard, I’m not an aggressive user, dirty or a PC gamer with tons of hours and yet less than 6mo of work from home use caused multiple keys to either chip or fully fade away. Really expected better. It also came with a phone stand which was cool except the rubber bottom didn’t fit into it somehow, so it wobbled and was bigger ever so slightly than the stand itself. Its a very poor QA oversight. Look elsewhere. I would not recommend this unless you’re getting it for less than 40 bucks. You’re not getting the quality your paying for here. Connection is strong with no issues and feels good to type on though.

This keyboard takes me back to my first IBM PC with its super clicky tactile keyboard. The G613 is much quieter but has nearly the same feel. I like the feeling of a mechanical switch. It's very positive. I tried the MX Keys wireless keyboard. The latency was more than I could handle. The G613 does not suffer from latency at all. As advertised it operates at light speed. As a cool bonus the G613 comes with a high quality smartphone stand.

This keyboard has all the functionality I need for gaming and productivity. The wireless response time is just as fast as a wired keyboard, and keystrokes are consistent and not mushy. Being able to connect to the wireless dongle along with a device that supports bluetooth might be useful to some. I have been using it for about a month now without turning it off, and the battery still has a good charge. The built in palm rest albeit being a hard plastic, still makes typing very comfortable. Some (maybe) cons: - Logitech uses their proprietary keycap/switch, so custom keycaps will be difficult to find. -No RGB or backlight -Full keyboard so it's MASSIVE

When you first take the G613 Gaming Keyboard out of the box you can feel that this is a substantially built keyboard. It has heft which tells me that in the heat of the battle it is not going to slide off the desk nor give up on you! First impression, it is a well-built keyboard and that it is made for speed and accuracy. The key layout is excellent with well-spaced and raised keys. When typing on the G613 you can tell right away that this the G613 is well-engineered and key build is solid as a rock. My thought is this is one keyboard that will give Many years of solid use. There are six programmable keys along the left for slamming forward in the heat of the battle. The keyboard is spec’d to run for 18 months on two AA batteries, excellent. For anyone wanting a major upgrade over the dinky keyboards that come with computers for everyday use you will find that the G613 is built for far more than just gaming. It is an excellent everyday keyboard; my wife uses it often for her work. Nice thing about the G613 it does not have to be tethered to just one PC, it is grab-and-go. Using either Bluetooth or Lightspeed to connect to any computer. The mechanical keys do not have a strong tactile feel, the tactile feel is just right in feedback. One feature I like, a lot, is the palm rest that Logitech uses on this keyboard, use the identical palm rest on one of our other Logitech gaming keyboards and it just fits. Response time is there for fast moving games with the Lightspeed technology with 1 ms report rate. If you demand Fast and Furious Action in your game with no Wires holding you back, then fire one up and get to it. If you are looking for a great replacement for everyday use, give it a look. Our young gamer in the house gives the G613 Two Thumbs up.

I'm not much of a gamer but I have a preference for mechanical keyboards. The distinguishing feature about this keyboard is that is both mechanical and wireless. The keyboard itself is quite heavy and thick (2 cm or 3/4 inch). The body of the keyboard is a thick gray matte plastic with a black base, and a black, integrated (non-removable) wrist pad. This is a matter of preference but I'd wish the wrist pad was not integrated. It's 2 1/2 in long. The keys are full-size with traditional keycaps (Not island-style). The top right of the keyboard has flat round media keys. I don't find the media keys particularly attractive. Looks cheap in comparison with the rest of the keyboard, but do work and are seldom used. On the left of the keyboard there is a column of 6 macro keys, that can be customized once the Logitech gaming driver is installed, otherwise they work like the F1 to F6 keys. The keyboard has feet on the back for either raised or flat position (There are no intermediate settings). Keys: Most mechanical keyboards utilize one of several varieties of Cherry MX switches (Including other older Logitech mechanical switches). A few other keyboards utilize Alps switches -- Those are more akin the feel of vintage IBM or Apple keyboards, which have a distinct click feel and sound. This, like newer Logitech mechanical keyboards, use Logitech's proprietary switch which they call 'Romer-G'. These switches have a bit of weight and a muted click. While the keys allow a good amount of travel comparable to other mechanical switches, it needs little movement to register, about half way, when it gives a bit of bounce feedback. The keycaps on 'Romer-G' switches are a bit different. The switches don't have a mast but are hollow, which allows for a centered lighting on other models, but this model has no backlighting. Because of this, removing the keycaps is possible but takes a bit more effort. Overall the feeling while typing on this keyboard is good, and comparable to Cherry MX Brown (No audible click). Wireless: There is no way to use as a wired keyboard. It uses two AA batteries, that according to Logitech should last about 18 months. Mine arrived with generic AA batteries. There is a power off button on the right side. The keyboard uses either an USB receiver or Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connection is intended mainly for phones or tablets, where the USB receiver should be used on computers. Keys on the top of the keyboard allows switching back and forth between wireless or Bluetooth. Logitech differentiates between mainline products and gaming products (Logitech G). 'G' products don't use the 'Logitech Unifying Receiver' and instead the keyboard has to be used with its own receiver (Which can be stored on the battery compartment at the bottom of the keyboard). The advantage of this receiver is that is very low latency (Logitech claims to be equal or better than wired). Over the course of a week, never noticed any lags, even when reconnecting after a few minutes. Software: Note that it doesn't use the same Logitech Flow or Logitech Options of other products. Because it's a 'Logitech G', it uses the (optional) Logitech gaming software, which can be very interesting, bringing profiles per application or games, and full control of the 'G' keys on the left. It also provides battery status for the keyboard and firmware updates on the keyboard itself. The software also lets configure the polling rate between 150 and 1000 / sec. Apple Mac: My home work computer is a mac. Both they keyboard and the Logitech Gaming Software are fully supported on macOS, however the keyboard doesn't come with mac-specific keycaps, and are not available at the Logitech website. The keyboard also came with a custom extension cable for the receiver, so it can sit closer to the keyboard if needs be (Mine is behind the monitor with no issues), and also comes with a matching phone stand, so the phone can be used with the Logitech Gaming Software, which provides a second-screen with configurable applets on certain games. It works on both Windows and macOS, with iOS or Android phones. (Search for Logitech ARX Control for more information about this). Overall is a great choice for a mechanical keyboard, and the only wireless and Bluetooth, gaming, mechanical keyboard on the market today. I would have preferred rechargeable batteries, but at least with AA batteries the keyboard will last for years. Also the built-in palm-rest could've been optional. Having support for the unifying receiver would've been convenient if the keyboard is used for more than gaming. None of this is a con but a matter of preference.

The keyboard is reactive and feels great when typing but didn’t last more than a year. Nothing happened to it and is very disappointing. I would absolutely avoid this keyboard. I now question whether to buy another item from Logitech considering their product quality is now a sham, a thing of the past.

I've been looking for a new mechanical keyboard for my office computer for a while. The Logitech G613 has finally combined wireless technology with a mechanical keyboard, leaving out gimmicks like flashing lights. The G613 is marketed as a gaming keyboard, but I'm happy to report that it also makes an excellent day-to-day productivity keyboard. PROS: - Sleek, understated design. This keyboard will blend in with any desk and doesn't draw attention to itself. - Comfortable wrist rest. Out of the box, it almost looks too big, but after a few long days of typing, I've grown to appreciate the length of the rest. - Extremely customizable. Using the Logitech Gaming Software control panel, you can customize the functions of the six G keys on the far left of the keyboard. You can use dozens of presets of even make your own macro command. The software even lets you see a heat map of your most frequently used keys on the keyboard. - The keys themselves are incredibly responsive. I haven't used a mechanical keyboard for years, but this one makes me never want to go back to standard keyboards. The keys are very satisfying to press and have just the right amount of resistance and clickiness. - There are adjustable height legs on the back of the keyboard that elevate it to a very comfortable typing angle. - Offers wireless connection via both Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz USB receiver. - Incredible battery life. Logitech claims up to 18 months on 2 AA batteries (included). CONS: - Heavy. You won't want to make this your portable keyboard or use it on the couch. - If you have other non-gaming Logitech devices (like the MX Master 2S mouse), you can't use just one USB receiver. The G613 uses its own LIGHTSPEED technology that is not compatible with the standard Logitech USB receiver. In these cases, you'll need to use 2 USB receivers or use the Bluetooth function of the keyboard. OVERALL: After two weeks of use, I can safely say this is the most comfortable and responsive keyboard I've used in quite some time. If gamers are willing to forego some of the gimmicky features and designs of other mechanical keyboards, they'll be rewarded with incredible customizations and wireless performance. Highly recommended!

The Logitech G613 Keyboard Gaming Keyboard is an all-around great product. The keystrokes are very responsive as far as speed and feel, the unit is very well built and has some weight to it, the legs and main base all have rubber feet on the so it won’t slide around during typing or gaming marathons. I found the Gaming switch to be a great idea, as often in some games I will inadvertently hit the windows button and my screen shifts to windows, these keys are disabled automatically at the flip of the arcade switch located on the top of the keyboard, this key set can be edited via the Logitech gaming software (must be downloaded) this software has presets to many online games and can be utilized should you wish. Also, the help file on the software is full of great info on the various things that can be tweaked to your liking, Way more than most will ever use. I highly recommend downloading it. In the software, the keyboard can poll your keystrokes and can tell you which keys are most used if you ever want to know. You can setup multiple profiles with tons of settings for your every need, such as Gaming, programing, or just surfing the net. I have owned many Logitech devices in the past and one thing they have the upper hand on it power consumption, this keyboard can go forever it seems before the need arises to replace the batteries. (you can power this keyboard off when not in use to save battery life as well) Setup was very easy, as soon as I plugged in the Usb dongle, the keyboard was up and running. Gaming was awesome, I Have several drives containing the latest games to tons of old school games. I tested the keyboard while playing Call of duty, World of war planes, and a custom Hyperspin image. All played flawlessly. Logitech claims they have a 5X greater response time (Latency) over their nearest rivals. I did not test this but for my uses I doubt I would notice a difference, but every bit helps, right? The G613 can connect to many different devices, such as iPhone and Androids via a downloadable app. Supplied with the keyboard is a phone stand that you can rest your phone on while typing docs on it, gaming too. I prefer this keyboard over my laptops hands down. It is much easier to type. So, I use it with both my PC and laptop. Since it also has Bluetooth capability. You can connect it to any TV that has built in Bluetooth which can make using on screen apps, searches or surfing much more enjoyable. The Media keys on the top right are a nice addition to controlling media without having to use a mouse on screen to do so. Although they are a different shape than the keys which is kind of weird and stands out a little. The non-removable wrist rest on the bottom of the keyboard is nice for typing long hauls and has rubber feet to ensure it is planted on not skidding when used. One of the most unique options on the keyboard are the 6 macro keys, that can be utilized for creating quick macros for every task, I use them to open different games, frontends, office apps, and even remoting in to my office. The only real Con I can see from this keyboard is the key caps, they seem a little cheap for this great item. I can see after a year or so of gaming the standard keys used in gaming will have the letters worn off the stickers. Having said that I would still recommend this to all gamers who would love to cut the cord and still have lightning fast key response time!!

Great wireless keyboard for both work and gaming function for what I use currently to accomplish both.

Overall a very solid keyboard. It has an 18 month battery life which is outstanding for any wireless device. Just plug in the lightspeed USB stick and the device is recognized immediately. You can also connect by Bluetooth (BT). The Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) immediately showed the keyboard and options available for it. You can change the G keys and modify keys on and off for gaming. The keyboard is big for wireless, but having a full size keyboard is nice, no bunching your fingers together, and with the large stands in the back, it has a nice slope for typing and place to rest your wrists. The keyboard has nice large buttons to control basic media functions. The keys are responsive and have a nice feel to them. I ran the keyboard with a Logitech G700s mouse that has the older unity wifi connector. Running the lightspeed at the same time did not cause any problems. Both the mouse and keyboard ran at the same time with no problems. On the downside, it doesn’t have lights to indicate Scroll lock or Num lock, only Caps lock if it matters to you. For a gaming board, the keys are not backlit. It is wireless only, no USB slot to connect to if you wanted too. None of these are big issues, but worth noting. It comes with batteries which is nice. Also, it comes with a phone/tablet stand (see picture), so you can view the Logitech Gaming App (ARX) reports (or other programs) on the device you want. The Logitech App is nice and easy to setup in the LGS program. Make sure your Logitech Gaming software is up to date, and check for new keyboard firmware on the Logitech site. Overall it is solid wireless keyboard.

TL/DR: Super responsive wireless (if using lightspeed adapter), excellent battery life, tactile and not too loud mechanical keyboard. Not good to travel with. Originally, I was concerned with the price and the fact it is wireless. Wireless keyboards, in the past, were terrible in my opinion. I must say, I've been pleasently surprised, and now that the cost is down, I'd probably consider another. My Pros: - Mechanical keyboard is of good quality. Keys are tactile and resistant enough (didn't want overly sensitive keys). - Battery life has been great. I've had this for over a year as of this review and only chaned the battery once. I typically use it for about 10-12 hours 5-6 days a week. Primary use is work (DBA) and moderate gaming (about 10-15 hours per week). To note, I primarily use the lightspeed wireless dongle for connectivity. - Build quality is good. I haven't had any broken keys or changes in the way keys press. The board is solid and doesn't flex much. No wearing on my keys. Having worked in IT for years, I am picky about not eating or having food around keyboards and keeping hands clean before using a keyboard, so that may be why I have less issues than others report. - Keys are audible (I find the sound helps me type better as an audible response to keypress) but are not loud enough to bother others around me when in the office. - Response time on computer is great. I never feel like I'm lagging, even in games. Again, note that I use the lightspeed wireless adapter. - Bluetooth gives options if you don't want to take the lightspeed adapter with. There is a slot under the battery cover if you want to take the adapter with and keep it with the keyboard. My Cons: - The macro keys (G1-G6 on left). Since I don't use macro keys and I'm not used to them being on the left, I tend to hit G1 instead of ESC and that causes issues. - The media keys feel cheap compared to the rest of the keybaord. I just don't use them because of that and because they are flat to the keyboard. Might have been better if mechanical as well ... ??? - Size: This keyboard is larger with the rest and added row of keys. I don't find it to be oversized, and I'd even say it is right-sized for what it accomplishes. The issue is it makes it a pain to travel with. If you are just using at home, then great. If you travel, I find it doesn't fit in any of my laptop backpacks/bags. Observations: - I've seen issues with typing and lag on bluetooth. If you have other bluetooth devices nearby (e.g. mobile phone or headphones) I've noticed it "can" get troublesome. I found it to be best with the lightspeed adapter. - I've seen people post about getting double characters. I've only experienced that once. I found that if I removed the adapter from USB, gave it a few seconds and then put it back, it seemed to resolve it. I think it may have been just a radio/wireless issue. - I have observed that if you had other wireless adapters, such as an xbox wireless controller adapter, or another logitech unify adapter, etc., you need to give them about an inch between in space, or they interfere. This seemed to be true on my laptop, on my laptop dock, on my home PC (back of computer) and on my usb hub on my desk. Because I've tried it in all of those scenarios, I don't believe it is USB related, but probably interference between the adapters. - Not sure if this helps, but there were firmware updates for the adapter (I believe) and for the keyboard. It's possible that may have helped my experience. Just for full disclosure. - Gave it 5 stars now that the price is under $100. For today's price (about $80), I think it is great. Over $120 or even the original $150, I felt it could be a lot better for that price.

The Logitech - G613 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Black has finally broken through the wall of wired gaming keyboards and offered a real option for those ready to cut the wire. Offering the real-feel of a mechanical keyboard (I liken it to the Brown Switches), this keyboard provides all the functionality one would expect and need, without the fancy of LED lighting. I do find that the keyboard does take a few seconds to respond initially when it hasn't been used for long periods. This would be a major negative for a serious gamer, but most individuals would not begin playing a game without touching their keyboards first. PROS - Solid Design - Great feel and response (Similar to a Brown Switch) - Comfortable for extended use - Full set of programmable G-keys - Adjustable height legs - Wireless -- Bluetooth is easy to set up - Comes with batteries installed CONS - Slow/Delay response from keyboard after sitting for long periods of time

This is a beast of a keyboard, so it's not designed for the casual user. There are not many wireless mechanical keyboards, and there might be a reason for that. Smaller is better for wireless, I presume, and this is not small.The wrist rest won't detach, so it's not very portable either. But it is built solidly, and it has an overall nice feel to it. I have to say, though, that the 'action' on this keyboard is exactly what I have been looking for. After five years of mechanical keyboards, I've grown weary of the sound. So have others. This keyboard finds the middle ground without the need for o-rings. It is responsive, enables me to type fast, and feels like a perfect balance between the old rubber dome style I used to use and the mechanical, clicky ones that are popular now. This actually reminds me of one of my favorite keyboards from the 1990s that I bought when I first started to write. Cherry MX fans need to realize that those switches were really never designed for gaming and are, essentially, old tech. These switches from Logitech (G-Romer) have a more modern feel, with some throwback essence. Find this keyboard on sale. It has a wealth of features. You can connect to a computer, phone, and tablet all at once. The wireless connection works as well as USB. Media controls are nice, as is Gaming Mode. The keys aren't backlit, but I've learned that's more a gimmick for me. I rarely look down when I type or play a game.
