From the advice from my brother-in-law, he bought aids for mom from Best Buy. Thankfully the store associate was helpful; we still needed to order these from their website. They were shipped to my home after ordering them from the store. I thought I ordered the appropriate hearing aid type, but since they were not. After a quick phone call to the supplier, they encouraged me to go back to the store to facilitate my exchange. I received the android type, but wanted the apple/iPhone compatible type. Pretty quickly I soon realized that if I were to exchange my hearing aids to an iPhone compatible one, I may run into some problems. I work in the healthcare industry, and I want to be able to hear even the most sensitive sounds. That was when I decided to keep them, and they’re just fine.

I was pretty happy with these, especially for the price. The app is great, but did have a few connectivity issues. Lucid Customer Service quickly helped out and resolved the issue. They are very comfortable and seemed to work fine. I did end up returning them only because I decided to go with some that had more complex capabilities, but I would have been happy with these if I hadn't decided to go with more expensive ones. Would definitely consider them again in the future.

Although they worked OK as hearing aids, part of the reason I purchased them was because they were supposed to pair with my phone's bluetooth and be able to be used for phone calls and/or streaming. The performance was inconsistent, sometimes both would work properly and sometimes only one of them. Hang up a phone call and maybe one of them would work for streaming, maybe both or sometimes neither would work. Sometimes after a call one of the hearing aids wouldn't seem to work. It was frustrating.

If you have mild hearing loss, then they might work. Otherwise you need better aids.

This working very good, but some of the software called "Lucid Shape" is not installed so I can't set them to my own hearing like the ad says.

My wife tried quite a few OTC Hearing Aids. She found all the others much inferior to these. So far she seems to have been really been helped by the use of these Aids. We even met with a Lucid Hearing Aid Specialist in CT to answer all her questions. Lance was superb.

I have used these Lucid hearing aids for about a week and so far they are very useful and a great value for the price. I tried some amplifiers but found they just added to the noise. These were not like that. I could adjust out noises and hear what I needed to hear more easily. I did need to call Lucid for assistance and was thrilled to get a human who quickly helped me with my issue. From what I can hear, it is a great value for my money. Thank you Lucid. Nick F.

Would never connect to my iPhone. I have had two other brands that did not have an issue connecting. Made several attempts with powering down and rebooting. Pretty important function since these are designed to be adjusted by the user. Cannot adjust if they don’t connect. They are going back to due to quality.

I’ve had tinnitus for years after spending 12 years in the military and spending too much time at NASCAR races. I received my Engage hearing aids the other day and they make a world of difference for me. I can actually hear the television now without the volume being set to 68. They are very comfortable and you can’t even tell that I’ve got them in. They are lightweight and easy to put in and take out. I’m very satisfied with them.
