I have this game for the Nintendo 3DS and been wanting to really get it for the switch 2, and this game looks phenomenal on the switch. Plays really good and smooth

Loved this game on the 3DS but now that it is on the Switch it is so much better! Plus my hands don't cramp from playing on the 3DS haha!

mediocre game in my opinion, graphics, music, levels all are better in luigis manion 3. also 60$ for this when the game was originally 40$ over a decade ago is ridiculous.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is a really fun trip back to one of the best 3DS games. The HD upgrade looks great — the mansions are full of detail, and Luigi’s goofy reactions are still hilarious. The ghost hunting and puzzles hold up really well, and it’s just a cozy, charming game overall. That said, $60 feels a bit high for what’s basically a remaster. There’s not a ton of new content or major changes, so it’s hard to justify the full price if you already played it before. Still, if you’ve never tried it or just want to revisit it in shiny HD, it’s a solid and spooky-good time.

Game is great. Easy to pick on. It will not save level if you do not pass it.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD on the Switch has been such a fun throwback. The updated visuals make the game feel fresh, but it still keeps all the charm and spooky silliness I remember. I really enjoyed exploring the different haunted mansions—each one has its own vibe and clever puzzles, which kept things from getting boring. Luigi’s reactions still crack me up, and the ghost designs are quirky in the best way. The gameplay is solid and satisfying, especially when you finally wrangle a stubborn ghost with the Poltergust. The only thing that threw me off a bit was the mission-based structure—it breaks up the flow a little—but overall, I had a great time with it. Definitely a solid pick if you’re into lighthearted, slightly spooky adventures.

It’s a decent remaster. Despite that I hate getting E. Gadd’s stupid calls every 5 MINUTES!! It’s almost worse than Navi. Anyway I do not think this game is even close to the polish of Luigi’s Mansion 3. The level design is kind of odd and confusing at times so you might have to look up a guide, especially for collecting the gems, but for completing a level as well because sometimes it is just NOT CLEAR what it wants you to do. Sometimes the answer rests in a location you’ve combed through already in a previous level. My boyfriend seemed to like it a lot but he’s just a big Luigi fan so he’ll enjoy it nonetheless.. tl;dr pros: - luigi ! - king boo is cute - decent port of a DS game cons: - no gooigi :( - confusing level design - collecting things / exploring doesn’t seem as rewarding as it does in Luigi’s mansion 3 - feels like something is missing I only recommend it if you finished Luigi’s mansion 3 and have nothing else to do in it. This is a 60 dollar game and I know it’s the second game in the series, but I don’t want this game to deter you from playing the third one.

After the success of Luigi’s mansion 3. It was only right Nintendo brought back the sequel which originally came out on 3DS. This game is great call back to gamers who loved the original 3DS game but reimagining with smoother controls and much improved graphics.

So much fun. I loved Luigi's Mansion 3 and I wanted this one but waited until life was left busy and I regret not getting this as soon as it came out. There are chapters that make up the whole story and it makes you want to keep going but at the same time you can start and stop with no issue. My only complaint is the lack of unlimited lives and that is just me being me. When the ghosts kill you off you have to start back from the beginning unless you find the golden bone and that gives you just 1 start point. I know its a me issue but still.
