I have wanted to play this game for years! When I heard it was coming to the 3DS I just had to get it! I have 100%ed the game and I must say that I had so much fun with it. However, the camera and controls were not only difficult to use, but also insanely frustrating at times. The camera would kill me a lot and depth perception was a big problem as well. Only a few complaints, but overall the game was solid and super fun!

This is a great remake, the controls are a bit clumsy and it seems a bit easier. But I don't think that's a bad thing. The original game was never very challenging, so I don't think that's the point. Treasure sticking around on the ground longer definitely helps you collect everything and be a little less strategic when picking things up. Which I always thought was just an annoyance. The motion controls do help with aiming kinda similar to Breath of the Wild when Link uses his bow. Because of the placement of the second analog on the New 3DS I find my fingers attempting some strange stretches, but it is very doable. Over all a great game and worth buying if you liked it the first time through or you missed out on the GameCube version.

I played the Luigi's Mansion on the GameCube once upon a Time and I thought was one awesome game to bust some ghost! Especially when your doing it with your loveable character Luigi himself. Instead of Mario saving the day, you have Luigi saving Mario in this epic spooky story. Save Mario by finding out who Marionapped him and why did Luigi win a Mansion! Have fun ghost chasers!

Not much to say here other than you can play Luigi's Mansion, a 15+-year-old GameCube game, in its entirety on the go. Highly recommended and a very good re-master to say the least. The 3D effect is also very well done and adds a nice touch to the whole experience.

The greatest and most underrated video game character of all time is back in a remastered version of the greatest game ever. I give this game a 10 out of 10. I’ve only given that rating to the PS4 Spider-Man, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and of course the original GameCube version of Luigi’s Mansion. This also has a good amount of extra content too. Considering it’s on a handheld console.

Though the game plays a lot like it did on Nintendo Gamecube, it is really great! The new features are fantastic! I can easily recommend it to newcomers, and also to those who enjoyed the original.

Fun game. The graphics, 3D effect, and sound are outstanding. The controls are a little clunky compared to the Gamecube version. The 2 person co-op is great too. Overall, an a great game.

The original gamecube was amazing and this brings me back to those days. The original in all it's glory and some added features, what more could you ask for? Wind Waker on Switch? Sure.

Had not played this game in around 10 years. Just as much fun as I remembered it being, only now its portable. Really wish they would do a port for the Switch though.

Fun to play game, improved in some ways over the old Gamecube game, but not quite as good looking in some ways. Great on the go, particularly if you liked Dark Moon!

All the fun and charm of the original Luigi's Mansion is here. This is a polished remake with some fun added bonuses that don't take away from the core experience.

I played Dark Moon first and this remake holds up. Really enjoying the game. Highly recommended if you liked Dark Moon.

This was one of my favorites on the game cube and it's still amazing on the 3DS! Even better because it's in 3D!

The game itself is great and the port is well done. Some things look and feel better on the 3DS and the new co-op mode is a nice feature. The 3D is done very well, but the game should’ve been around $25-$30, not $40.

This is one of my favorite GameCube games and the port is solid for the 3DS. The 3D effect adds a new reason to play the game. The controls, on the other hand, still limit just how much fun you can have.

I absolutely adore the Gamecube version of this game and was so looking forward to this one. Overall, I think it certainly does a good job of transitioning it all, sans the controls, which for me personally can be difficult at times to navigate. The game was designed to take advantage of the Gamecube's unique controller, and the 3DS version just doesn't feel comfy in terms of movement at times. Otherwise, though, a nice port of a time-tested Nintendo game.

All the fun of the original, but portable. Adds some great new features.

Another good entry in the world of Mario. Fun to play and interesting story.

Great to see this game in 3D after so many years, the original was supposed to support this option but the GCN add on for 3D was canceled due to high cost at that time. The 3D is my biggest reason to recommend this for people who still have the original, ofherwise it’s mostly the same game just with plenty of little tweaks hear and there to suit the new hardware.

I loved LM: Dark Moon but I was never able to play the original installment on the GameCube until now. While graphically inferior to the GameCube release, this version of Luigi's Mansion is still excellent. Game play wise, this version is significantly more open world than Dark Moon but my only complaint is that the targeting is not as intuitive.
