If you can find one of these, it’s worth the money. Replaced my iMac Pro with this for video editing. Incredibly fast renders in Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.

I'm moving from a 27" iMac with a Core i7 processor. I've heard that the new Apple Silicon machines blow the Intel processors out of the water, but I was skeptical from the form factor that this computer has. It's basically a taller Mac mini! So I figured I'd try it and if I didn't like it I could always return it. Not only did I really liking the computer, I was speechless with its performance. Anything you can throw at it: 3D rendering, 4k video editing, programming, machine learning, it can handle. All without having its fan kick in on high or get super hot, huge frustrations I had with the iMac. Yes, you'll need a separate monitor but that's not that big of a deal. The performance is that good. I was rendering heavily complex videos in 30 seconds. I had to redo the render thrice to make sure that it wasn't skipping out on any parts. And it wasn't! If you're on the fence: go ahead and purchase this. You will not regret it. Very good investment and it will be futureproof for a good amount of years.
