I edit photos a lot as I am a photographer and it keeps up with my workflow. It gets hot sometimes but I just need to make sure it's elevated so the fans work properly. Other than that no issues.

This computer is great for my audio production daws and VST plugins. I use it with an Apollo interface, Fo studio and pro tools! It is a monster! Fast, zero crashes, no latency! LOVING IT!!

This computer replaced an older MacBook Pro. I wasn’t sure about the 13” size but it was a good choice for me!
Purchased this as an open item and it's an Excellent item. My 2016 MacBook Pro went out and I replaced it with this item. It is exactly the same size but it is so much faster and a much better display. I had to have the trackpad and love that Apple still makes them. The package did not come with the power adapter even though it said no accessories missing. I went in store and the store manager was helpful to replace the missing adapter.
The laptop came in mint condition, perfect for what I purchased it for.

I was so reluctant to buy it but now I’m so happy with my Mac Pro. My only regret is that I didn’t buy it sooner.

Good device overall, just beware of the product's fragility. The screen cracked with-in 1 month of owning it. I bought a Thule computer case, and a little strap got caught between the screen and keyboard when I closed it (see picture). Granted, nothing should be in the device when you close it, but the previous computer I had (a HP) lasted me 5 years with no issues and zero protective equipment. I thought spending the extra cash on an Apple product would be worth it, but so far the only "wow" factor this product has offered is the apple scented box in which it came. Still not totally against the product, but the fragile screen is why I rate it 3/5.

What's there not like about the Mac? Top of the line in performance, aesthetics and elegance. You get what you pay for.

I've had my MacBook about a month now. This is the 1st MacBook I've purchased brand new. (All my other ones have been used.) It's very light weight. I love the Touch Bar feature and the Touch ID. It's very fast and responsive. Battery life is great! I also love the Retina display. Colors are very vibrant. If I knocked this laptop for anything it would be not having USB ports any longer. I have purchased the adapter so I do have the ability to work with USB.

Delivery was super fast and the quality of the product is amazing. I love the size and how speed it is. I really like the touch bar too. I have no complaints!

I spent a few months researching the new 2022 MacBooks before choosing this one. I tend to keep my MacBook Pros for 7-8 years at a time and I wanted a new one that could last that long. Initially, I was considering the MacBook Air M2 and the MacBook Pro 14 M1 Pro (using the same 16GB memory and 1TB SSD). But I'm a professional writer who is on the computer all the time and travels. Because of that, I chose this one for its compact size and light weight but it also has a built in cooling fan so it doesn't overheat running all day. By the way, you never hear the fan run. The 16GB memory and M2 chip are awesome! Everything opens in an instant. This MacBook Pro easily handles everything I ask of it and then some. I love the 1TB SSD, too, and strongly recommend getting at least a 512GB SSD because it does impact on how fast it performs. The battery lasts forever. The keyboard is great! I love my new MacBook Pro!

Absolutely amazing MacBook, I prefer the touch-bar because it’s customizable to any default you choose and changes per app while still having available function keys. The retina display is more than bright enough to work outside in the daylight that can be adjusted under display system preferences for more crisp color management. This uses two 512GB ssd chips which are significantly faster than the base model single 256GB. I transferred over 200GB in mixture of documents, pictures, movies in under 4 mins from a backup drive. It can playback both 8K & 4K smoothly, and output 6K externally with so much RAM. The fans almost never engage unless I render a high resolution video. It does not get hot underneath because of the fan. And battery life really is 20 hours and when low display lighting then its over 20hours. Each port can handle individually 40GB/s so I like to keep on port open. Doesn’t have a MagSafe. Definitely much lighter than any of the 14” or 16” large models which often feeling bulky and really requires both hands, this one doesn’t feel that way but more importantly it feels easier to balance holding when moving around on the couch or on the go. The camera is basic 720p, but all my FaceTime calls are on my iPhone. Overall handles everything better than any of the MacBook Air, the Air is initially great but in a couple of weeks doesn’t keep up as this M2 model MacBook Pro version. If your looking for the best of the 13inch size. This is hands down the one for you. I have own almost all of the 13” models in MacBook Pro/Air and went thru the headache so you don't have to.

I've been using Macs for close to 20 years now, and I'm blown away by the M2 MacBook Pro. I've upgraded from an Intel chip, and I've never seen as giant of a performance difference even when Macs transitioned from PowerPC to Intel. I mean just like everyone else I've read the hype about both the crazy, performance, seemingly extreme battery life, and low heat. I guess I'm just cynical. I didn't fully believe it until I started using it for the same exact tasks as my old Intel Mac. Pros - Performance is unreal. - Quiet - Stays cool - The keyboard feels much better than the chiclet garbage from the last Intel generation. - Reasonably priced for a newer gen MacBook book. More on this in the cons as for why. - iOS games run well - A lot of iOS apps run well except for HBO Max. Cons - No one still really uses the Touch Bar. I think batter life would be improved without it. I believe this one major reason why the price is still relatively the same even with inflation. - This is the same chassis as last gen's Intel MacBook Pro 13". I believe this also another major reason why the price is still relatively the same even with inflation. - Still can't upgrade anything like RAM or the hard drive. Everything is soldered to maintain Apple's profit margin. - MagSafe power cable is not included. Not a big con because you can buy 3rd party MagSafe like cables. Maybe you'll be able to buy an Apple OEM one soon as well. - The power cable doesn't include a plug extension ie you'll have to plug the giant power brick directly into the socket. The plug extension is sold separately. You should be able to use the older ones if you have extras. - Not all apps have transitioned to Apple Silicon yet, but they will. Notes: - Try to get the 16 GB version if you don't want to replace your hard drive sooner. If there's less RAM, the OS is going to do more writes to the SSD. - If you don't need portability, the Mac Studio might be better value.

Great. Was considering the new 14 inch M2, but I really like the touch bar and the old design of this 13 inch. Battery life is a bit better too on this. Ports are less than 14 inch, but not an issue for me. Display being older tech also no issue, don't need 120hz.
