This works great but I don't think I could have wired this without the help of geeksqaud. Retained all steering wheel functionalities on my 2015 vw passat.

I bought this for my VW CC when replacing the factory stereo. All buttons that I had before works with new unit, except the mic button which acted to mute. My car didn't have factory Bluetooth, so those steering wheel buttons don't work, but we were able to program set a 2nd button function on the left 4 way pad to replicate those buttons.

Bought for the Pioneer Stereo and the Maestro Adapter to get Vehicle Information and works great. Quick and easy to install. Instructions and tips online. Customer service is amazing.

I didn't know I would need this harness until after I bought the Maestro. It's important to remember that both are required for installation into any VW to keep the steering wheel functionality available.

No issues with the plug and play. sound quality is good.

I purchased this at the recommendation of a Best Buy Car Tech specialist...best decision I have made. I was able to retain all of the controls from my previous stereo with some added bonus features.

Required to use an aftermarket radio in an mkv GTI/ Golf. Works perfectly.

I purchased this because I was told it was needed for the new radio I purchased for my son. When I placed the order over the phone the rep was in training and it took about 40 minutes to make the purchase and schedule delivery. Everything I said or asked was being repeated to someone off the line and then I could hear the answer which was also repeated back to me. Originally I was told I needed a harness that was $150 and I said no way that I would get a different radio if that was needed so they put me on hold and came back with this one. When my son showed up to have the radio installed he was told this one wouldn't work and had him purchase the $150 one that I said no way to. I felt it was a scam because of course after the radio was purchased and my son took a day off for the install he was going to go ahead with it. Either the rep on the phone sold us crap or the install team lied to get a bigger sale. I also believe the install team canceled the whole order just to re-ring it as that person's sale on the day of install. I will never, ever make a purchase using Best Buy employee "expertise" or use their installation again.

Everything is good. The Burlington Best Buy store is Great! Dwain in automotive is very thorough and professional and does a fantastic job.

You do have to buy a 140$ additional part for that harness to work and I didn’t know this
