The radio side of the harness terminates in a universal connector that can be used in conjunction with available Maestro Head unit adapters for a plug n play solution or removed for conventional connections.

- Retains cameras: retains reverse camera, depending upon aftermarket radio inputs. (iDatalink-ready car stereos also retain front, side, and 360 cameras)
- Vehicle information: displays engine performance data and vehicle settings menu. Also addds gauges/vehicle information to touchscreen with select Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, and Pioneer receivers.
- Head Unit connectors: works with iDatalink's "Head-unit Direct" harnesses (ACC-HU-xxxx), which eliminates the need for wire splicing.
- Seemless installation: allows seemless installation of a new receiver with iDatalink port in select Mazda models. (also requires the Maestro ADS-MRR or MRR2 module)
