I put in my tiki hut in the backyard. They sound pretty good and even though its an open space the sound was pretty filling. The base frequencies are decent ( with no subwoofer). Set up was a breeze.

This system is great! We installed it on our new porch, in the corners, facing slightly down. Of course the AMP is great. But the speakers are nice too! They have crisp treble and deeper bass than I would have expected. You can listen softly or really crank these up. They get quite loud. We can listen while in the hot tub on full jets/bubbles. The whole family is very pleased. I am not a huge fan of the remote, though It only holds charge for 1/2 day. I don't see a lot of need for it, since you can control with any phone or tablet, with a lot more flexibility.

I had previously purchased the Sonos speakers and the amp separately. Then came along this amazing bundle. I tested this side by side the Sonos branded speakers by Sonance and the sound was literally the same....but for almost $500 more. Returned those bad boys, scored this bundle. Includes a volume controller and the savings paid for both my install and my Sonos Amp mounting rack. Love the sound!

I like, it works very good, i use for my restorants at out door and I combined with 2 sonos one speakers for in side.

First off it must be known that I am a HUGE Sonos fan and have Sonos Speakers located throughout my house on every level (even the garage). One of the things you couldn’t do easily was take that great Sonos sound outside very easily. I would on occasion take my Play 5 and plug it in on my back deck but Id have to take it out of my office shelf, bring it outside plug it in etc, not the best solution but workable. Enter the Sonance 2-Ch Outdoor System with Sonos Amp. Set up is easy. I just added it to my speaker array contained in the Sonos App, if you don’t already have Sonos and this is your first foray into the Sonos eco system, then all you need to do is download the Sonos App from either Google Play or the Apple App Store. Log in or create a new account, Sonos has gotten very easy to set up with the app searching for your Wifi, Speakers, other components etc The thing to understand about the Sonance 2-Ch Outdoor System is while the Sonos Amp is Wireless and operates with your app and Wifi, the Sonance Speakers are wired and wires must be run from where you have your speakers to the Sonos Amp. The Sonos Amp can handle up to 2 sets of 8 Ohm Speakers wired in Parallel. Included is a nice set of Banana Plugs to help with connecting the Speakers to your Sonos Amp. I wired the Sonance Outdoor Speakers to the Amp as well as two speakers in my living room, wired in parallel. The Outdoor Speakers have wires run from my living room (where the Amp is) to my back deck. The Sonance Speakers are second to none as far as sound quality and design / construction. Included are the speakers and mounts to put them on a wall etc. The wires go through a rubber grommet in the back of the speaker and come out of the front of the speaker behind a panel, once the wires are fished through the back they are easy to connect then sealed from the weather by the panel on the front and the rubber grommet in the back, fantastic design to protect your wiring from the elements. Once mounted and wired they just work and work well. (see the pics of my outdoor install and the Amp in my Living Room) The sound from the Sonance Outdoor Speakers is phenomenal and some of the best sounding outdoor speakers I have ever heard. The Amp also powers the speakers in my Living Room and the Sonos Amp handles both sets of speakers effortlessly and they both sound great. You can tailor make the sound to your taste with the Sonos App that has EQ Settings etc. I also have a Subwoofer that is plugged into the subwoofer out on the Sonos Amp and this certainly adds to the great sound. I am looking forward to enjoying the Sonance Speakers outside for many years to come. I couldn’t recommend these more; they are worth the money and effort to wire.

If you know anything about Sonos Or Sonance . Then you know or heard that they cost an arm and a leg right? Well you heard right. But you probably also heard the phrase “you get what you paid for” as well. And this is exactly the case. If you want the best or next to it. You came to the right place. If you like to host the best parties or get togethers and need the best equipment you can afford. You looked at the cheap brands. You’ve tried them out and realized they are not worth it. Especially if you love audio like most people do. This sonance speaker kit and Sonos amp gives you the best of many worlds with its sound quality, build quality, appearance plus the technology to match or exceed many other brands. First let’s get the speakers out of the way. Because they are the main part of this bundle (KINDA). While these sonance speakers are larger than life itself. They are definitely a very nicely designed speaker. Weather proof and all. From the rain to heat. You are safe with these. Very sturdy too. Sound quality is is beyond what I expected. I didn’t know weather proof speakers could sound so good. The 1 inch tweeter is a good size for the high range. These are not overly bright tweeters. Just enough to give you that good balanced sound. And the 6.5 inch midrange fiber woofer gives deep and clear vocals but does lack the sharp bass I am used too. Though that’s not a knock on the bass. you can add a wired powered sub to the amp. These speakers have a neat little pass through starting from the back to conceal the speaker wire. And then the front has a removable door to cover the terminal and further weather proofing the speakers. The Supplied mounting brackets are strong and sturdy. Just make sure to mount to a stud or even a tree. You could if you wanted to. Lol. Now on the the amp. Oh that lovely strong little Sonos amp. Sonos has changed the game! This “little” amp aka wireless whole home hub has almost everything going for it. From the 125 watts per channel to the hdmi input(ARC) and it even has a sub woofer out port. (Needs a powered sub). I like the newly designed banana plugs. Power is clean and stable. Just the right amount for my taste. You can even hook up 4 speaker(dual mono) if you have enough room and land to be honest. Because 2 of these speakers will be more than plenty. If you have an outdoor TV set up you can use the hdmi input and connect to it and use the ARC feature. Then hook up the included xpress keypad and control it through there. Tho I like using the Sonos amp personally. Now for the Sonos app. It’s probably one of the easiest streaming equipment controller I have used. Simple yet intuitive. You can connect all your music apps. Like 100 options* to choose from. Tune the EQ. Control the tv (arc) enhanced dialog and night mode. Switch from stereo (2 speakers) or dual mono(4 speakers) With ease. All this is done through WiFi. Plus you can expand with new Sonos wireless speakers or sub. Awesome! That’s why so many choose this high end brand/set up. For overall quality and ease of use! You will not be disappointed. No downsides so far. All upside and pure musical joy, IMO. I’m happy and I know you will as well. Note-This kit doesn’t include speaker wire. I used a 16 gauge oxygen free copper speaker wire and it does the job well. Good luck and happy shopping.

I was really looking forward to review this Sonance - 2-Ch. Outdoor Streaming Music System for use on my outdoor patio in exchange for the product. Sonos' speaker quality is world renowned. When I received this unit I was immediately impressed by the extra care and design of delivery-packaging the factory folks took to ensure this unit arrived undamaged and ready to install. It has been raining for over a week in my neck of the woods, and, have not been able to install these fantastic speakers on my patio. So, I thought I would set this Sonos system up, temporarily, using my record player. I have an extensive vinyl record collection and love the full spectrum sound of analog recordings as they were meant to be heard. My record player has a pre-amp, which is required to use with this Sonos Amp. When I finally got this system configured I was thoroughly impressed with the analog sound reproduction spectrum, which is much more dynamic then any digital. These are quality-built and engineered speakers. YaHoo! What do I LOVE about these Sonos Speakers? ** Sound – The incredible mid-ranges, and robust bass are candy to my ears. At low or higher, volumes of sound, the clarity and frequency ranges of between 65Hz – 30kHz are phenomenal. Even though the average person can only hear from the ranges of 20 Hz to 20 kHz these speakers encompass the whole gambit of the auditory sensation. They provide an excellent, sound spectrum with flawless, background nuances, which is so important when playing analog, vinyl media. Without a sub woofer these speakers present such a pronounced bass with resonating kick drum and flowing bass guitar, I am super-pleased. These two Sonos speakers rival my high-end Bose, which need a sub woofer at a higher crossover level to deliver the same quality bass. These Sonos, two-channel, streaming, outdoor speakers are well-built. It is obvious that they were designed for large spaces (outdoor) to deliver outstanding sound quality. I turned the volume as loud as I could endure, and, the distortion-free-quality was evident. These Sonos speakers are worth the money! WooHoo! Each speaker is equipped with a 1-inch cloth, dome tweeter with a 6.5-inch glass fiber cone woofer. Keep in mind that these outdoor speakers are 'water-resistant', NOT waterproof. They really need to be installed under an eave, for rain protection, or other 'sheltered', outdoor locations. ** EZ to Mount – Sonos furnishes the bracket housings along with the hardware to mount these speakers anywhere outside to wood surfaces on your home. The brackets will also mount to brick, concrete block surfaces, or any other type of masonry surfaces with the appropriate fasteners. They can be installed both horizontally or vertically. They 'lock' into the furnished brackets, but can easily pivot to direct the sound where you desire. I plan to install them under my eaves on my masonry walls in my patio area. ** Set Up – Out of the box the hardware, speaker setup and connections to the Amp are pretty basic and straightforward. The spring, speaker wire connections in the speakers are simple and quick to install (see pics). Speaker wire is NOT furnished, so I used the least resistance wire at 14 gauge, which is the highest gauge acceptable, that the Sonos speaker folks recommend. Installing the speaker wires to the banana terminals of the Amp is just as simple as long as the speaker wire, 'polarity' is maintained. ** Sonos & I Port Connect App - Although my Linksys Mesh Router shows the Sonos Amp is on-line in my 2.4 GHz Radio Frequency, I could never communicate with it through the Sonos App, or, the I Port Connect App. However, I was able to use the Amp in 'manual' mode with the touch-control volume icons. It delivered great sound even though I was not able to access any other App features to adjust the bass, treble, and volume through my I-Phone. After 3-days of repeating all the suggested remedies in the 'troubleshoot' steps, I tried unsuccessfully to contact the toll-free Sonos Help Number. I have a 'high-end' amp receiver and finally connected the two Sonos Speaker Units to my auxiliary output to play my vinyl records. It was absolutely amazing at the sound dimensions and response of these Sonos speakers, that I could adjust with my amp's pre-sets, and EQ. ** Conclusion – Since I could not utilize the features of the Sonos Amp through the Sonos App, I cannot give my opinion fairly. I will state that the price of the Sonos Amp by itself is high enough to suggest looking into other quality amp-receivers, which may offer superior, easier, connection features, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and more auxiliary inputs and outputs. Love the Sonos speakers, but cannot recommend the Amp because of my connection issues.

I got the Sonance Streaming Outdoor speaker system because in the next 60 days I am going to be completely be rebuilding my deck area. Up until now, I had a Sonos One that we would just take outside and plug in but now that we are redoing the deck, we wanted a more professional music option. The key here was that we already had a significant investment in Sonos in our house. We have 2- Sono’s 5’s (Kitchen & Master Bedroom), Sonos Soundbar in the living room and a Sono’s one in the dining room as well as our Sonos One that acts as a “floater” for wherever we needed it. I had looked at the Sonos amp previously but when I saw that Magnolia had created this Sonance package that included two very high end Sonance Speakers with the Sonos Amp and iPort Audio keypad, I was sold. When unboxing this, you first notice the quality in all the components which helps to justify the price point. The speakers seem to be some of the most solid and well designed and built of any that I have looked at. The quality of the mounting brackets even was impressive. Everything is included but you will need your own speaker wire. I plan to have mine run when we redo the deck so for the purposes of laying out the system and testing it, I went to Best Buy and got a 50ft roll of 16guage speaker wire, spliced the ends and used the banana plugs that come with the Sono’s amp and was ready to go. At the speaker the wire snakes through a rubberized weather resistant channel to the front bottom where they connect in. All very straight forward and easy. Sound quality is amazing. These remind me of the same or better quality than my Sono’s 5’s. They are rich and consistent even at high volume. Bass is fine for me but if you need a sub, there is a connection for one on the Sonos amp. Adding this into my Sonos system was easy as it always is. Simply start the app, plug in the device, it finds it, configure it, checks for and installs any updates and within minutes you are ready to go. The hardest part was running the cables…lol ! Mine is not mounted yet as you will see in the pics as we said we are going to redo our deck, but this is going to be the nicest addition to our new deck when it is complete. I would totally recommend this!

It took me a whole weekend to run new wires through the attic and the exterior walls and get everything buttoned up, but I cannot express fully how good these speakers sound. The clarity and the loudness are outstanding, whether at low level or high. I had a bit of an issue connecting the Sonos amp to my Orbi wireless network, but Sonos tech support got me working after a bit. I absolutely love these speakers and getting the xPRESS remote controller in the set was a bonus as that alone is $100. This is an awesome set that you wont be disappointed with. I definitely suggest purchasing it if you have the money to spend on it as it isn't cheap by any means. I also bought new speaker wire and got the "in the wall" cable from the Magnolia section as well which I would highly suggest if your existing cabling is old or ratty.

Sonos amp is very easy to use and install along with the great Sonance speakers. Sound of the speakers is really good and seem to be well designed for the outdoor elements. The added bonus of the WiFi controller of the Sonos Amp is a nice addition.

Very crisp and clean sound. Allows streaming and connectivity to receiver preamp for sound from CDs, Turntable, DVD, etc. Sound is very clean without distortion even at max. No option to to crank it up until you hear distortion and back off...it is distortion idiot proof. Might like to have a bit more power, but only running with a single set of speakers. Still trying to figure out how to connect all airplay compatible devices....non-Sonos Airplay devices don't show up as connectable. Still need to see what this device can handle connecting other smart speakers and/or second set of wired speakers. Only reason for 4 stars is cost. I got this on special...Not sure i would have paid an additional $400 for it...that is a bit steep.

I purchased these set for our new home. These speakers and Sonos amp are a wonderful buy. The sounds for the speakers are crisp and great for some easy patio listening. They're fairly weak on the bass, but that is to be expected. The Sonos Amp is amazing. Almost 0 setup and seamless use. Highly Recommend these

I am a music person and this system is perfect for my outdoor space. It was easy to set up, easy to install and fit in nicely with my other Sonos speakers. I have not used the remote as the app is fine. All music, etc is easily accessible and it’s comes through clean. Worth the money.

Purchased these for our outdoor patio/pool. I was torn between these and the Bose system. Really love that you can use this on wifi as opposed to having to be connected with blue tooth. Makes a huge difference. I have them mounted on the side of my house, mounting was easy but I had to get longer screws than what came with it to get through the siding and I always go over board securing these type of things. We have about an acre of yard and if you turn these up and walk out to the edge of the yard they still sound amazing and clear. If you are thinking of purchasing these I recommend them! They are quite pricey however when you price out what you get individually with other not as good products this package makes sense.

We put these speakers outside on our patio and they have held up through 2 Illinois winters so far. We keep the speakers fully exposed to the elements as we don't bring them in for the winter so they do well in rain , sleet or snow. We keep the AMP inside and everything seems to be great so far. Highly recommend for out door music lovers.
