We have a magellan for our car. It works great. We used this RV GPS once and then the screen went blank after we programmed our second leg of our trip. I had read other reviews not to buy but because our other one works for our car, we decided to go with this one. There is no customer support phone number in the manual. I tried to chat with a service person and they said that it was a different department for service and sent a link for assistance. There was no information on how to get to a service person directly. You had to email them and wait for a response.

This thing has not worked correctly since I purchased it. It would cut on and off at the most convenient times. It finally died last week, I drove to Little Rock, Arkansas and it decided I was in California. Fortunately the location I was seeking was available on my cell phone.

Two of us tried to operate this complicated perplexing device with a great deal of frustration. It is not a walk up an use, turn key, nor user friendly.

Works as expected , but charged battery life too short

The Magellan - RoadMate 9490T-LMB 7 GPS with Built-In Bluetooth, Lifetime Map Updates and Lifetime Traffic Updates - Black was an excellent choice. The Large Screen is great!
