A: Hi Tatica, what kind of a small noise is it? It is normal to hear refrigerant moving around the unit (bubbling, gurgling sound) also, when the compressor turns on it may make a slight vibrating/buzzing sound. Other than that there shouldn't be any other sounds.
Q: Does the mini fridge require any fliuds to keep it cold
A: No, it does not.
A: Yes, you can remove any plastic covering.
Q: Can u show how the inside looks a pic or a drawing
A: An image of the interior is available on Best Buys website.
A: We apologize.But you might have a Maytag product. They used to licence the brand name and created products during that time. We do not have any units with ice makers.
A: The unit will get condensation on the back wall. When the compressor is running, that condensation will freeze and turn into ice. Once the compressor cycles off, the ice will melt and drain.
Q: I have a fridge/freezer and want to know how to go about defrosting.
A: The unit should be defrosted when the ice/frost accumulation is approximately 1/4" thick. You would simply need to set the thermostat dial to "0" to defrost. Remove all contents from the freezer compartment. Leave the freezer door open to allow accumulated ice/frost to melt.
Q: does the green light go off when it reaches the proper temp? have the 6.9 cu ft chest freezer
A: This unit does not have a light that will indicate if it reached its proper temp.

Magic Chef 3.5 cu ft refrigerator
Great office/dorm refrigerator. I read reviews on a lot of different units. This one had the best reviews. Many buyers reported damage to various makes and models of refrigerators. This unit was perfect! Very quiet and cools extremely well. Perfect size for my needs. Best Buy price matched this unit and saved me some money.I would recommend this to anyone looking for this type of refrigerator.

Nice size for a reasonable price.
Bought for my wife's office. So far, my wife likes it. Frost free which is great for a small fridge.
