Although The Rabbits briskly sold all 500 copies of the InchWinter SongsInch tape, live audiences at the time seemed dumbfounded by the group, and would stare at them in silence. After two years together, The Rabbits called it quits. Considered one of the great punk bands of the early '80s, their leader had no interest in the scene and always thought he was making InchnormalInch music. They rubbed shoulders with a slew of notable groups of the era, and their singer was best friends with arguably the most famous Japanese punk of all time, but Miyazawa shunned fraternization and purposefully distanced himself from his peers. Could this be why so few underground music fans are familiar with the group, even in Japan? Why they seem to have been written out of the official history of Japanese punk? One can never know for sure, but Mesh-Key hopes to remedy this travesty by offering this compilation, the first-ever official LP by The Rabbits, to a new generation of punk and psychedelic music connoisseurs. Album Tracks 1. Wa, Wa, Wa 2. Meiken Bataakenkun Gou Den 3. Baachan No Baajin de Ittemiyou (Metal Mix) 4. Kako Otoko 5. Bye Bye 6. Yasai 7. Seiteki Ningen 8. Winter Song 9. Dada 10. Mori No Uta

Hole Erth, Chaz Bear's eighth full-length studio record as Toro yMoi, is the genre shapeshifter's most unexpected and boldmove to date, with Bear diving headlong into rap-rock,Soundcloud rap and Y2K emo. The album blitzes anthemicpop-punk next to autotuned, melancholic rap - two genres thatinform one another now more than ever before - and packs inthe most features ever on a Toro y Moi album.A sense of nostalgia sneaks it's way into almost every Toro y Moirelease, but angst is an emotion that Bear has neverintentionally explored the way he does here. Tracks likeInchTuesday' channel a specific, yet forever-relatable sense ofadolescent unease. A distorted guitar riff leads into a repeatingchorus that conjures misunderstood teenagers singing aloud, maybe too loud, while riding bikes through American suburbs. This foreboding can also be heard on InchHOV,Inch though not withoutpoking some fun with lines like InchRomance is so cold / Myadvice? To bring a coat.InchBear has the energy, but is acutely aware that his energy isn'tforever. At a time when the internet is blending multiple genresinto one at an increasingly rapid pace, Bear accomplishes therare feat of keeping up with the contemporary alternativelistener. Constantly changing, evolving and experimenting is theheart of Toro y Moi, and on Hole Erth Bear challenges but alsoreclaims himself, embracing the myriad sounds and eras thatformed him, while crashing new worlds together. Album Tracks 1. Walking in the Rain 2. CD-R 3. Hov 4. Tuesday 5. Hollywood 6. Reseda 7. Babydaddy 8. Madonna 9. Undercurrent 10. Off Road 11. Smoke 12. Heaven 13. Starlink
