I’ve bought many different shaver’s over the years. This is by far the best one ! Very easy to use adjusting the length with just a twist. Quite and holds a charge. The case is compact easy to store or pack away in a to go bag. I’m gonna buy one for my son who is new to managing facial hair. Would definitely recommend!

I don’t know why it took me so long to find something like this in the market. I have owned several beard trimmers that come with a lot of attachments. It is cumbersome and hard to store when you have to chance so many pieces to adjust your beard length. With the Manscape beard hedger I get 10 different lengths incorporated into one guide, no need to chance accessories. The machine is powerful and battery lasts a long time. And it doesn’t stop there… the device tells you how much juice you have left in the battery. Great purchase!

The electric beard hedger from Manscaped simplify the number of accessories to carry on, and ease the process of adjusting how much to trim. It has only one attachment which allow to guide and can adjust up to 20 lengths by rotating mechanism to enlarge or shorten to the desired length. It comes with a case that is quite well protective of the trimmer, and includes charging cable. Interestingly, the trimmer has usb-c port while the other end has usb-a and it comes with the power adaptor for usb-a. The charging status is embedded in the same button that turn on/off, and it has a light indicator that tells how much of battery is left of if it is fully charged. Trimming process is not very different compared to other brand have used. But the guiding attachment on how it is designed does help to control trimming desired length. As contour the angle of the face or edge of bear, the attachment sort of assist the direction as push while trimming desired cut. The blade is titanium coated t-blade according to the brand, but during the usage can tell is sharp and smooth. Also, the blade is detachable, and allow to remove the heir trapped within. The rotating control has goes from 1 to 10, in between increase by 0.5. The only thing it has to be set before starting or pause in between if need different length in between. It is not easy to change it during the process. Need to pause, check the number and adjust and continue. But better than other brand that need to remove and replace the attachment according to the trimming. To resume: 1. It help to ease the process 2. Doesn’t have to replace blade or the guide attachment 3. Trimming is smooth 4. Multifunction as removing the attachment it can be used to shave the head as well. 5. Easy to maintain and carry for travel. 6. Doesn’t need multiple blades and accessories to identify for specific trimming need. What I wish it were better: 1. Maybe the material, it is plastic which makes light but would be different experience if it were metal as craft the trimming 2. Its size, same as the carrying case. Although it does look nice in bear eyes, upon placing in a bag it feels bulky.

So i guess let's start off with packaging. The setup is really simple - trimmer, guard, USB-C cable and wall block. There is a travel case as well. All items are in the travel case upon unboxing. We all know how charging works! As for charging, there is a simple 3 bar indicator that illuminates when the trimmer is powered on. works well, easy to read. The trimmer itself if not to large. Fits well in your hand and easily maneuverable. The guard can be removed for direct shave and then has 10 length settings in .5 increments. I used the longest setting of 10 and got to about 1/2"(13MM). So there is that limitation. I tried to press firmly and make the selector slip - but it held stedfast and i got a nice trim. The guard is really smooth and moved nicely across my face with pressure - no edges. That was really nice under my nose and around my chin. As for power - i think i have a fairly think hair and goatee. But the trimmer held its own and never bogged down. Cutting was nice and crisp and no drag. The battery seemed to last quite a while. I used it for about 5-8 minutes on my first use and there was no change on the indicator. I did travel out of town for 3 days and it operated well all days - never needed charging but did drop 2 of the 3 power indicators The device is waterproof according to the packaging so you can use this in the shower. I however did not. I did test the waterproof in the sink and no issues were found with that testing. I did use as well to trim the lawn. Worked well there too! :D Overall a nice buy, Well made device that should provide great service it was designed for!

I "upgraded" to the Manscaped Beard Hedger 8/2023 from a Phillips Norelco 7000-series, which died a few months outside its warranty, excited that the Manscaped product had USB-C. Well, after 7 months of use, (without dropping it, without charging it over 5V 1A, without leaving it in water or the elements) the unit is broken with the light on and the shaver powered off... and I have just learned that Manscaped only offers a **90 DAY WARRANTY** (a far cry from Phillips Norelco's 2 year warranty). Super disappointed that a $30 more expensive shaver would offer such an inferior warranty and break so quickly. I made the mistake of buying this unit after many sponsored Youtube commercials touting its quality, and will never ever make the same mistake with a YouTuber-sponsored product again.

First things first, that title might be a BIT of an exaggeration, but I really like the way this beard trimmer cuts hair. And I think that is most important. In the end, it cuts my beard gently and relatively neatly. That said there are a few things I would point out that were not exactly what I had expected. Bad: Keep in mind I have used this trimmer once so, like any trimmer, with time, I should be able to “dial in” how it works better. But as of now, I’m having trouble with the size of the trimmer. More specifically, the width of the blade. I’m not a very large guy, and my face/neck isn’t either, so I was struggling to get the hair where my neck meets my chin because the blade is so wide. This unfortunately led to some patchy spots on my neck that I had to spend more time trying to clean up the best I could. One other thing to note, I wouldn’t call this an “all in one” trimmer. (And neither does Manscaped I don’t believe.) But it can do a lot without needing to find or change all those covers which is nice. This won’t get you a super close shave like a razor or foil trimmer will but you can still get it pretty short. Think 5 o'clock shadow level. But if you’re doing a ton of shaping or want a very close shave anywhere, (like your neck) you’ll still need another tool to complete your look. Good: But with that out of the way, I will say, I really like the trimmer so far. Like I said earlier, it is a very smooth and gentle cut. You really don’t feel any tugging or pulling or anything like that. Time will tell if this will last. I figured out too late to start at the longest size and slowly dial down until you find the length you like for your first use. I ended up a little shorter than I wanted because I thought I knew what length I wanted but it was wrong. If I had started big and worked my way down, I could have had better results. The trimmer is also waterproof - IPX7 I believe it said. Although, I was pretty surprised that information was so hard to find. (The back of the trimmer does show the “waterproof” icon which is nice) but I couldn’t find the IP rating in the included manual and it was only a small print on the box. It made me second guess if it can be used in the shower and I wish Manscaped had put that, arguably big, feature more front and center on the box and in the included paperwork. But anyway, I did try it in the shower as well and it worked just fine. It was much easier to clean up than trying to get all the little hairs out of the sink. I did NOT try it on my body anywhere and Manscaped’s official comment on that matter appears to be something along the lines of you can do whatever you want to your body, but we made a different trimmer that is better for your body trimming so buy that to be safe. Now, obviously this could be more of a sales technique than anything, and based on the way the trimmer handled my beard, I’m sure it would be gentle on your chest, or arms or whatever you’re trimming but it is not recommended and I didn’t want to get cut somewhere just to review a beard trimmer. But I would be curious to try their other trimmer and see how they could possibly get an even more gentle and safe blade to cut more sensitive areas. Overall: The trimmer comes with a 3 stage LED battery indicator, a USBC cable and (hey this is not common anymore) the power adapter as well. And it all fits in a very nice sleek case. If you have a beard but don’t do any crazy design or trimming, I think you would really enjoy this trimmer and would recommend it to my buddies. It’s a big name, and a bit gimmicky but they cut your hair well and that’s what matters.

In short: The Manscaped Beard Hedger is an incredible tool that feels premium in the hand, offers excellent user experience, and gets a tough job done, wirelessly. It doesn't quite have the horsepower of a clippers with a wall plug, but given the Beard Hedger's high quality and excellent performance, I look forward to using it for many years to come. The long review: I was excited to get this Manscaped Beard Hedger trimmer because I've long been on the lookout for something to replace the wired clippers I usually use to trim my facial hair. I've tried a couple other wireless solutions and found them lacking. I have pretty thick hairs that sprout from every corner of my face, and because I work from home they don't often get the care they need on a regular basis. That means I need a strong tool that can chop through my facial thicket and clean up what sometimes becomes an unruly mess (see before pic attached). In my short time using it, the Beard Hedger has proved to be a capable tool with a high quality build that feels excellent in the hand. It's about time a personal care device manufacturer treated its customers to an experience as nice as using a smartphone. Everything from receiving and opening up the box, to removing and charging the trimmer, to using and washing up feels premium and well thought-out. Upon first opening the box, you see the trimmer's travel case, which opens to reveal the device with a small USB wall plug and USB A-to-C cord. Thank goodness for USB-C compatibility! The case is a rectangle about 2.5 x 2.5 x 7.5 inches, made with a slightly rigid by soft-feeling material with a zipper down one side. The first I did was charge the Beard Hedger, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the LED indicator on the front lights up with 4 segments to show state of charge. As the trimmer charged, I perused the instructions, which are very nicely made and lay out all you need to know about charging, using, and cleaning the Hedger. Later in the evening, I set up for my first use. The dial on the body of the Beard Hedger goes from 0.5 mm (very short) to 10 mm (still kinda short), so this isn't the ideal tool for guys who want a longer beard, unless you hold your ability to carefully wield this device with dexterity around the tips of longer hairs. I settled on 8.5, and went to work. The trimming experience is quite good, and I LOVE the ability to not have to fight with a cord as I moved around my face, clipping away at the forest of hair that grows there. Near the end of my trimming session, I twisted the dial down further to clean up the area where my beard gives way to skin on my neck, and it did a very good job of blending. I will say you shouldn't expect this to have the same horsepower as a trimmer with a wall-plug, simply because it takes a LOT of juice to keep that motor running. The Beard Hedger is effective and efficient, but I did find myself making a couple passes at my beard and removing the guard to clean it once in a while. Speaking of cleaning, I found it very easy to rinse the clipper after use. Bravo! All in all, the experience of using the Beard Hedger is delightful, and I found it quite capable of taming my mess of hair. I'm even thinking about not waiting so long before my next trim up to give the thing a break, haha. 5 stars!

Pros: Self contained. It has a single adjustable guard instead of many different sized guards. Charges via USB-C instead of a proprietary charger. Easy to clean Cons: Rather large. While a great beard and mustache trimmer, it doesn't do a great job with general shaving. I really liked this trimmer. The adjustable head was really easy to use and adjust. I'm coming off of a trimmer that had multiple separate heads that snapped into place. This design is so much easier. I also like how easy it is to clean. Just pop off the guard and give it a good rinse. The trimmer charges via USB-C. I like that I only need to bring a single charger for both my phone and my razer when I'm traveling. The razer doesn't do a great job with general shaving. The best that I could manage with the guard completely removed is light stubble. A clean shave it was not. Still, it did a great job cleaning up my moustache and goatee. I'll be curious to see how well the motor and blades hold up over time. So far I'm absolutely loving this.

Love this thing! It is simple, well built, and easy to use. Cleaning is a breeze! The device comes in a simple, small box with instructions, case holder, charging cable and the beard trimmer. The case is a very nice touch as it makes it easy to pack in your travel case if you are on the go. Out of the box, you need to charge the trimmer for an hour and a half. The charging cable is USB-C which is nice since almost every household should have a USB-C cable if you were ever to lose this one. There is one guard which can be removed with easy, cleaned and replaced, very quickly. You can adjust the trimmer itself by .5 mm using the really novel dial in the center of the trimmer. You can go from .5mm all the way up to 10mm, so gone are the days of having to locate the guard you need. One guard, with a dial adjustment! For the trim, it was easy, no snags, and I had zero issues trimming my over grown beard down to .5mm. The guard is nice and smooth, and the trimmer cut evenly across my face. I really cannot express how easy to use this beard trimmer is. To clean, you simple remove the guard, and wash it and the trimmer head with water (don’t have it plugged in charging of course). After, just let the trimmer air dry and you are good.

The trimmer has good build quality, is easy to clean and comes in a nice travel kit. It deals with my stubble effectively, the 0.5 mm setting is good to have however getting a consistent shave at that setting can be tricky. Charging is easy and when fully charged, I can get several days use.

I have been using the same Norelco beard and facial hair trimmer for about 5 years now and when I saw this one from Manscaped I just knew it was time to upgrade. I have the Lawnmower 3.0 that my wife got me a year or so ago and have been very happy with it so figured this would take my beard and facial hair to the next level as well. First thing I like is the case it comes with to hold the trimmer and charging cable. When I took the trimmer out of the case the first thing I noticed was the weight which immediately told me it was quality. It feels like a real trimmer and not some cheap plastic one like a lot of the others out there. My favorite feature though is the built in guard that raises and lowers with just a few turns or clicks of the built in dial. Great for quickly changing lengths for the different parts of my face without having to constantly swap guards like my other trimmer. The guard also removes and goes back in very easily and cleaning the blades was very simple, especially if you have used the Manscaped products before. This is a great trimmer for anyone looking to quickly trim those scruffy or crazy beards when they get a little out of control. I think my only con would be my facial hair doesn't grow fast enough to use it more and it has now become my favorite Manscaped product.

Works as avertized. Well made. Easy to adjust and clean. However at lowest setting it does not remove all hair like a standard trimmer. Stubble remains. The blade is long so its hard to trim mustash above lip and around mouth. I guess thats why its called a "beard trimmer". Over all I would definitely recommend this razor for someone who wants to maintain a well groomed beard.

The Beard Hedger from Manscapped is an awesome facial hair groomer. The aesthetics are great, its sleek with a modern design with an LED battery indictator on the face so you'll know when to charge. Trimming is powerful, precise, and with a minimalist design in mind. It has titanium blades so these clippers will be able to cut even the thickest of hair, will be able to edge up very well, and you will only need one gaurd for whatever length your wanting.This is made possible by the zoom wheel which adjust the distance of the blades with the gaurd. So no more fumbling for gaurd heads or having useless ones for lengths you may never cut down to. Cleaning it is easy, just run the gaurd and the blades over some running water and let it air dry, no worries about it being ruined because its waterproof IPX7. The whole set comes with a great looking storage case, a usb-c charging cable, and a charging block. Manscapped went and made a great looking set of clippers that perform beyond what I was expecting. After using it to trim down my facial hair I'm definitely gonna have to recommend the Beard Hedger.

Been debating getting this brand for several months (costly). However, by comparison to others over my six plus decades of life, this is worth the price of admission. Simple. Not a lot of pieces. Just a functional dial adjustment, one clip, rechargeable and water friendly. If you can get past the cost, I would suggest, this quite possibly may be the last one you buy. (Given I have had this for a short time and I am ancient, so this suggestion may be applicable to me alone) Smilage!

Very Handy & Reliable! The Manscaped products are well made and durable. This device has a nice dial-in cut-depth feature. Easy to use and easy to clean. Very nice for the price.

This is THE BEST beard trimmer I have ever owned! It holds a charge for a long time. It is light-weight and easy to use. There are multiple blade settings to handle any length beard trim. I don’t know why I waited so long to get this!
