Purchased this to augment my 9-channel receiver in an 11-channel system (I was using an old Insignia stereo receiver to power the rear Atmos/ceiling speakers). Easy to setup, the trigger input works well to turn on the amp automatically when the receiver turns on. Using it to power the front L&R, center, and rear surrounds. Sound quality is good. Surprised that I have to turn the volume up to the same levels as before; since the Denon receiver is 140w per channel into 2 channels, I was expecting the 140w per channel of the Marantz to play louder, but it doesn't.

I added the Marantz MM7055 to my Denon AVRX 6700, 5.2 setup with SVS Ultras. I was content prior to adding the amp, but I'm so happy I added the amp. Such an improvement in sound quality. My SVS Ultras are running off the amp leaving the 6700 to power my 2 SVS subs. Cleaner, more defined sound with appropriate umph. My only regret is that I didn't get the MM 8055 for more power.

A great addition to my home theater. I purchased this amplifier so i could add a 2nd pair of dolby atmos in ceiling speakers to my theater room to run 7.2.4 and everything is perfect! I use the amp to run my front stage and rear surrounds and have my avr power the rest, couldn't be happier.

This particular Marantz amp is nothing shy of perfection for sounds from movies and especially music. IT ROCKS ITS THE BEST OF THE BEST! 3 days for set up and it sounds like a concert here. I am so happy'

I paired this amp with Marantz Cinema 60 AV receiver to power B&W 603 towers and center. Sound is fantastic. Plenty of power for open family room setting and the sound qulity is awesome. Really brought the speakers to life compared to previously running on Yamaha Aventage receiver that pushed 140 watts per channel 2 channel driven. Sound is noght and day. Also like that the amp runs cooler then expected.

Amplifier is powerful. Used my PM8006 as pre-amp and bass sound much improved from 70 wpc to the 7055 amp 140 wpc rating. Denon avr I have was also connected with bowers and wilkens in home theatre setting. Pre out sent to 7055 front and center channels had better sound to my ears than Denon alone provided,

Great quality power amplifier highly recommended for any audiophile. Full compatibility with Marantz pre amp, easy setup, no configuration, full automation. Adds power.

I paired this amplifier with my new Cinema 50 receiver to run my fronts, center and surrounds. This allows me to run a full Atmos system. The power is great and easily syncs with my system. The sound is better than what I had with my older Pioneer Elite receiver. I'd recommend this unit for anyone looking to boost their power and available channels.

Put in a 5.1.4 speakers setup with 2 extra zones (including a Zone 2 monitor) and picked this up to test the first five channels. I'm absolutely picking up a second unit to drive the remaining Atmos speakers and I'm 99% I'll buy a third for the remaining zones. It is plugged into my av7705 pre-tuner via the RCA style remote cord, so no DC triggers to program, absolutely plug n play. The XLR connectors are a noise-free dream. I'm driving some 4 ohm high-end Kef speakers (in-wall/ceiling) and they sound as clear as a bell. If you're driving low ohm speakers, this bad boy won't disappoint. Unit is in a rack in the garage, no heat issues to date.

I purchased the amplifier solely for powering my subwoofers. I was very impressed with the power and sound the amp supplied.

My 1st venture into separates. Didn’t know what to expect, but definitely seems like my speakers now have the power they’ve been craving. Running off a Marantz 6014 with Klipsch in walls. Sound is louder, but seems like a cleaner, more range out of all speakers now. The back surround’s definitely seem more noticeable now. The sound stage from the fronts & center seems wider & more vibrant now as well. Not sure it’s all enough to justify the extra $1500 yet as I’m still learning with it. Steal if you can get it on sale.

Typical marantz looks good. Sound great. Have not had a chance to really run it hard yet.

Works well. Decently built. No noise from amp. All propey built SS amps sound alike so i focus on longevity and build quality and ease of integrstion with system.. Satisfied with each thus far.

Big amp. Complete overkill for my application, though I am running 4 of its 5 channels, I could run this amp 24/7 and it would remain cool to the touch, raw power Its a tank

My Marantz Receiver was already rated at 110 watts per channel so adding the MM7055 amp didn't really raise the volume too much as you would expect but the clarity it gave my music is great. I've put it through it's paces with vinyl, CD, SACD and movies and it has not disappointed. On my music, the clarity of the high hats and cymbals on the drum kits is where I'm noticing it the most.

At 140 Watts per channel is very week. My Onkyo AVR TX-NR3010 outputs 170 Watts per channel. Also, it doesn't have an IR Receiver and can't be used with a universal remote. Major mistake buying it. My fault!

Clean power. Low distortion. Only returned mine because my 700 series bowers is power hungry and needed a ton of power to fully come alive. This amp is more than adequate to drive normal and average speakers.
