Q: Yeah, can I plug in an equalizer to it?
A: I don’t have the actual answer for you, but will say I regret this purchase due to the fact it doesn’t have the equalizer program I assumed it would like my higher end marantz unit in another room. Bass and treble knobs, it has, but the sound is pretty flat and “unalive” in general. Of course at this price point I have no great expectations and it’s likely as good as anything comparably priced, but do yourself a favor and move up a notch to a unit with the full software package so you don’t regret anything. Adding an equalizer is cumbersome and an outdated, unnecessary expense, so spare yourself that grief and be justified in stepping up a notch on the marantz ladder so you’ll be happy. I find myself avoiding listening to music in the room I put this unit in….and that sucks.
