Sounds like what the brand is know for; warm and musical! First I used an RCA cable (generic one) to connect it with my MacBook but later bought a good coaxial/USB-C cable and it gives better sound clarity. And also digital inputs enable the filter button where the filter-2 gives more analytical sound and filter-1 is kind of straight forward (Please see the picture below to see the purple light with the filter-2 being engaged). Current I’m driving Boston Acoustics VR2s but planning to upgrade to B&W 600 series as suggested in the Marantz website. ( I usually don’t go by such norms but I’m so impressed with Marantz so I want to get the best of it)

This Marantz receiver has a beautiful warm sound!! It can handle my 4 ohm Cerwin Vega speakers with no problem. Excellent price through Best Buy!!

I was really looking forward to using the amplifier however when it arrived from UPS it looked like it was kicked from best buy to me, was bent and broken so bad I had to return it, was heart broken. Maybe Ill be able to try another one.

Decent receiver but I got better sound from my Yamaha. Not a big fan of the WARM sound.

It can make a significant difference to your system's performance. I have had this integrated amp fora bout 2 years and it is amazing. The power rating shows 45 x 2 RMS but it is surely higher. It has no issues powering all kinds of speakers, including old Klipsch horn speakers and some old JBL L100s. The sub out is also a great addition as well. If I had one complaint, it's that there is no good visual indicator for volume. There is a small dimple but from more than a few feet away that is very hard to see. A small light would be ideal. Really not a big deal at all. Very well worth the money for a great stereo integrated amp from trusted brand.
