A: Hello and thank you for your question. That is correct, all new units work with 8K gaming systems. For confirmation, DBL check the serial number. Only Marantz models with serial numbers below xxxxxxx70000 are impacted by the HDMI incompatibility issue and require the HDMI adapter to output 4K/120Hz and 8K/60Hz video signals.
Q: does this receiver work well with sonos?
A: Hello. Certain Sonos devices can be connected using a digital or analog interconnect, but as the SR8015 has a HEOS engine on board (supporting streaming from many popular services, and use of wireless Home speakers from Denon's line-up), there is no support for Sonos wirelessly
Q: Does this amplifier have the same overheating issues as the previous versions?
A: Hello. We are not aware of any over-heating issues when our AVRs have the recommended clearance (6" inches above and 1" for the sides).
