CreamWide Soundstage
Improved tweeters and waveguides create a better, wider soundstage. This is achieved by dispersing sound more evenly and covering a bigger area across the room. Enhanced stereo separation also makes listening feel more expansive. Instruments are more separated, making them easier to follow, while adding a sense of realism, depth, and spatial positioning.
Enhanced Bass
Our in-house acoustic engineers redesigned Acton IV's bass port to create a more aerodynamic shape that results in a cleaner and more powerful bass. It also delivers a tighter sound at higher volumes. With cables at the bottom of the speaker, you can place your Acton IV close to or even flush against the wall without affecting its performance.
Dynamic Loudness
Enjoy a consistent, composed sound you can rely on. With subtle adjustments to high and low frequencies, tonal balance is adapted to ensure your music sounds incredible at every volume. Even for the quieter listening sessions, you’ll still get the clarity, richness, and warmth of your daily tracks. Improved limiters also help create a cleaner sound at higher volumes.
Customizable M-Button
The fourth edition of Acton features a newly added M-button. Now, with just one press, you can instantly select your preferred EQ settings to match the sound to your listening needs. Or you can dive straight into your favorite music via Spotify Tap. To assign an action to the M-button, all you need is the Marshall app.
Tactile Controls
With our heritage amp-inspired controls, you can tell it's a Marshall speaker without even seeing the name on the front. Acton IV's classic top panel features the brass-detailed volume, bass and treble knobs, as well as an improved media control. Designed with purpose and precision, these controls intuitively help you find the perfect settings and sound.
Analog Inputs
At Marshall, the unmistakable sound of vinyl is irreplaceable. Thanks to a new RCA input, you can now bring your record player into your listening set-up. Enjoy filling the room with the warmth and richness of classic vinyl sounds. Add other audio devices by simply connecting a lead with a 3.5 mm stereo jack to the AUX input on the top panel of the speaker.
