TLDR: Big & Heavy. Best suited for hard rock and hip-hop, but makes a statement that few portable speakers can PROS Huge Sound Big Woofers = Big Bass Multiple Input Options Premium Looks Removable & Replaceable Battery CONS Big Size Heavy Weight Doesn't Support Spatial Audio INPUTS / OUTPUTS 2 x 1/4" XLR Mic / Headphone 1 x 3.5mm USB-C In / Out (Supports 5V Charging Out) 1 x 3.5mm Out for Daisy Chaining MARSHALL APP The Marshall app is an exercise in simplicity. A breath of fresh air. It is stripped down and simple. It doesn't aim to be your one-stop shop for all your media. A simple app to connect, change inputs, and perform basic controls. I like the approach. I prefer to use my music streaming app for playback control and EQ. Marshall has acknowledged this with their app, making only the necessary controls within it. SOUND QUALITY I won't say that the Bromley is elegant and refined. It is unapologetically bold and brash. The Bromley is in its element when you want big, room-filling sound, preferably rock and/or hip-hop. Not that it can't do other genres, as I played a bunch of country through it. The Bromley handled country music well, but it really comes into its own when you feed it some hard rock. Hard rock, hair metal, hip-hop, it doesn't matter. These genres wake the Bromley up and allows it to show its true potential. Big, booming bass that fills a room with authority. Far better than any other Bluetooth speaker I've used in a long while. The Bromley performs as well as other competitors' speakers that are twice the size. I credit a good portion of this from the fact the Bromley has a rearward firing radiator and active full-range driver. This not only helps with bass response, but allows music to be bounced off walls behind the speaker help filling the room with a more realistic 360 degree soundstage. BATTERY LIFE Marshall claims 40+hrs of battery life. I'm not sure I'll make 40hrs, but I've been listening for several hours now and the battery is holding up nicely. One point that Marshall deserves credit for, is that the Bromley has a replaceable battery! If for some reason that 40hrs of battery life isn't enough, buyers can purchase an additional battery to have on hand to swap out when one gets low! Awesome! BUILD QUALITY / ASTHETICS Like other Marshall products, the Bromley has a very premium feel compared to its competitors. The signature Marshall black and gold color scheme is swanky looking. Controls are equally premium feelings. I would venture to call the Bromley just short of ruggedized. Common wear spots are covered in easily replaceable parts. Buyers won't have to worry about being delicate with their Bromley. Rubber end caps, battery compartment covers, etc. are all replaceable through Marshall's website. I like this approach to speaker design. I wish more manufacturers followed suite. FINAL THOUGHTS I'm having a bunch of fun with the Bromley. More than I thought I would. One thing that I'm particularly enjoying is pairing the Bromley to my Roku stick and using it as a portable movie speaker. Movies sound great on the Bromley and make outdoor movie nights way more fun. Actually more fun than my other Bluetooth speakers. Is the Bromley the most delicate and sonically accurate speaker on the market? Oh, no. Far from it. But it makes up for it in shear power and its fun factor. The Bromley puts most other, bigger party speakers to shame. I'm having a blast with the Bromley. More fun than I've had with any Bluetooth, portable speaker I've used in a long time, and that's what it's all about. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I’ve been a fan of Marshall ever since my first speaker from them, the Stanmore II, which has been fantastic. I needed a speaker of similar size but also portable, so here enters the Bromley 150. Inside the box came the Bromley,a power cord, and the usual paperwork. When it comes to design the Bromley 150 has that classic Marshall style that never fails to stand out. It continues to share that familiar vintage amplifier like look with the main body being black with brass finishing that makes it feel premium without being flashy. On the right side of the speaker( if you are facing it), you’ll find the red power button, source, playback and physical controls allowing you to adjust volume, bass, trebble, in addition you have a toggle for the lights( yes, the Bromley has embedded stage lights that shine through the speaker grills). In the rear you have two inputs(mic/instrument), Aux In/Out, and a USB C port. On the right, you have a battery compartment that allows you to swap out batteries with ease. It isn’t the lightest portable speaker, but the included handle makes it easier to move from place to place. One of the main selling points of any speaker is its sound and the Bromley 150 is as solid as it gets. Marshall has included its True Stereophonic 360-degree audio technology, which is designed to spread sound around the speaker rather than directing it all toward one particular spot. This is a critical feature as the 150’s are positioned as party speakers and in such a setting, people are likely to be standing or moving around the speaker at different directions. I tried this speaker in various rooms around my house as well as outside at the park( two thumbs up for the IP55 rating i.e protection against dust and water splashes), and it sounded great and powerful in all settings. Another strong point for the Bromley 150 is the many connection options it has such as Bluetooth 5.3 with Auracast, USB-C, a 3.5mm auxiliary connection, and microphone and instrument inputs. I had no issues using any of these connection types and their inclusions make it more versatile than a typical portable speaker, especially if you're having small gatherings or a fun karaoke night. Another plus here that works well with small gatherings is the integrated stage lighting that helps with setting that party atmosphere. Finally, when it comes to battery life, Marshall claims over 40 hours of playback on a single charge. I haven’t tested this, but I have been using it for atleast 4-6 hours over the last 4 days at around 50% volume, and I still have about 50% battery, so Marshall’s claim might just be right. They also claim that 150 has a quick charge feature where a 20-minute charge can provide up to five hours of playback. This would be very handy if you forget to charge the speaker before heading out, which is very possible since I still have only charged it once since I got it. I also have Marshall another should out for making the batteries replaceable and easy to access. Overall, the Bromley 150 is a powerful portable party speaker that combines Marshall's signature design with plenty of useful modern features. It has awesome sound, great battery life, and can do more than just playing music from your phone. You should definitely check it out.

I wanted another party speaker, that was small enough to take along for day trips while also having enough battery life to last multiple days on a single charge. I liked the Marshall party speakers I’ve got, so I decided to take a look to see what was available. That’s when I found the Marshall Bromley 150 Portable Wireless Party Speaker, which was small enough to take along while also boosting a multi-day battery life. I picked one up to give it a try. Pros: - Powerful & Portable. - Connectivity: Bluetooth, 3.5mm, USB-C, & 2xXLR inputs. - Built Tough for Outdoor use. - 40hrs of Play Time per Charge with quick Charging! Cons: - Bass overpowers mid-range sound. - No custom audio profiles available in app, need Third Party app. Out of the Box: The Marshall Bromley 150 is the portable speaker that is easy to take to the party yet packs a punch of sound! At just under 14lbs, the speaker can be taken along easily and set up to provide plenty of sound to keep the party going. The internal battery provides power on the go, though a power cable and USB-C port can be used to power the speaker if needed. Pairing the Bromley 150 is easy: turn on the speaker with the big red button, then cycle to Bluetooth, then press and hold the select button (same button to cycle). The select Red LED will start flashing slowly. Then just find the Bromley 150 on your devices Bluetooth and connect. You don’t need the Marshall app, but it does walk you through connecting if you have any issues. Software: Unfortunately, The Marshel App is still very underwhelming. It is simply used to pair the device and register the speaker to your account. The app only has controls for managing the volume, Listen to Broadcast (Beta), adjusting the M-Button function, and timeout settings for power off. Listen to Broadcast is a Beta feature that requires you to use a compatible phone or device to broadcast sound that can be connected to multiple speakers to create a synced music experience. This is great for an event or party with friends, but I’ve not been able to get the feature to work on my phone yet. The M-Button would be nice if it could do more, but currently you can only adjust the Stroboscope, Enable Low-Volume Mode or have it do nothing. I still find these options to be less than useful. I would like to see either an EQ or Custom Sound profiles option that can be applied via the app. I find that the available Bass and Treble dials are helpful but leave out much of the mid-range sound. Build: The Bromley 150 is a solidly built powerful portable speaker. It measures 11.7in by 11.4in by 8.2in and weighs just under 14lbs. It is IP55 rated so it can take a little dirt and water without issue. All the ports covered with sealable covers, similarly the speakers have a cover under the grate to prevent dust and water from getting in. This doesn’t mean it can take a dunk in the pool, but a little splash or sprinkle won’t ruin anything. A convenient carrying handled is included on top, which makes transporting the Bromley 150 that much easier. The four edges have bumpers on them with strap loops, to make it easier to carry or secure the speaker. Additionally, on the bottom of the speaker is a spot for mounting the speaker to a stand, in case you have a mounting pole for a stage speaker. From the specifications sheet, there are 4 internal speakers: 1x6.5in 40W Woofer, 2x2in 6W Full-Range speakers, and 1x7.5in Passive Radiator. These speakers are paired with 3 Amp: 1x90W for the Woofers and 2x55W for the Full-Range. This can pump out 97DB @ 3.28ft (1M). On the side of the speaker is the control panel which has multiple buttons and dials. The Big Red button is the power, right next to it is the Source Select button which is also used to connect wirelessly to the speaker. Next to that is a multi-function back, play, next button. The last button on the top row controls the strobe lights. The 2nd row of dials control the Volume, Bass Balance, and Treble Balance. The last row of dials control the XLR input volume: Input 1 & Input 2. With the center dial controlling the effect on the input: Delay, Delay/Reverb, and Reverb. Audio: Marshall packs a ton of sound power into the little Bromley 150 box. It is very easily the loudest small speaker I’ve ever had, with enough Bass to feel it. Overall, it is very clear and loud, with powerful Bass and Good Trebles, but the mid-range is overpowered by the Bass. Even if you turn down the Bass, then the sound just seems empty, like it’s missing the right balance. I knew this going it, as it’s the same for other Marshall speakers I’ve got, they’re tuned for Bass-Heavy party music. My only other complaint is that there really is no way to balance the sound on the Marshall speakers without using third-party apps. The Marshall app doesn’t provide any tuning beyond what can be done directly on the speakers. If Marshall added custom sound profiles into the app, that could be saved to the device, then it would solve my only real complaint about these speakers. But there are plenty of other apps that can be used to adjust the sound balance, which makes this only a minor complaint for me. Connectivity: The Bromley 150 can connect to audio sources via Bluetooth 5.3, Aux 3.5mm (both input & output), USB-C, and 2xXLR ports. All the physical ports can be found on the back top of the speaker, under the dust cover. The XLR ports support both Mic and Instruments, which allows you to use this as an instrument amp or karaoke box! Battery: Once again, Marshall knows how to make a speaker portable and long lasting. The 40hrs of play time is no joke, this will last a whole weekend of partying on a single charge. Even if you do run out of power, it is quick to get back up and playing with a 20min charge providing 5 hours of play time. A full charge takes only 3 hours. You can charge via the included AC adapter, via USB-C, or even just swap out the battery with a spare. You can buy spare batteries online, though they’re currently sold out on the Marshall website. Conclusion: If you want a powerful little party speaker that you can take on the go with more than enough battery life to keep the party going all weekend, then the Marshall Bromley 150 Portable Wireless Party Speaker is a great option. It’s battery lasts 40hrs on a single charge and can be swapped out if you need to keep the party going. Not to mentioned the versatility of this speaker to connect wirelessly or wired via 3.5 or USB-C, and it can even hook up two XLR devices to sing away to karaoke or jam away on a guitar. This one is a strong recommendations for anyone looking for a portable party speaker with all the options!

If you know the brand Marshall - you know what it is all about. This speaker is definitely one of the best speakers I have ever owned and trust me I have a bunch that are similar caliber but in reality cannot compete in certain aspects with Marshall Bromley 150. I've always believed that a great speaker doesn't just play music, it helps create experiences. The Marshall Bromley 150 does exactly that for our family, combining powerful 360 degree sound, impressive battery life, almost "stage-inspired lighting", and of course classic Marshall design into a portable package that's ready for almost any occasion. Let me share about my experience and occasions I have used this speaker. Recently, we had a family birthday gathering in a medium-sized backyard. Instead of everyone crowding around a single speaker, I brought out our Marshall Bromley 150. As soon as I fired it up, the 360 degree sound spread evenly across the seating area and patio. Whether our guests were chatting near the grill or relaxing around the fire pit, the music remained full and immersive. As the sun set, the built-in stage lighting transformed the atmosphere. What started as a casual gathering suddenly felt more like an outdoor concert (my son and daughter took care of all the music choices and Spotify playlists). The powerful bass added energy to upbeat playlists without overwhelming conversations, while the long battery life meant there was no need to worry about finding an extension cord halfway through the evening which is nice. Another scenario where we used the Bromley 150 was a weekend karaoke night with friends. Unlike many Bluetooth speakers, Bromley includes microphone and instrument inputs that support live participation. Imagine connecting a microphone for karaoke, then later plugging in an acoustic guitar for an impromptu performance. Instead of needing separate amplifiers and sound equipment, the Bromley 150 becomes the centerpiece of the entire event. The clear vocal projection, room filling sound, and responsive controls helped create an experience that felt organized and professional without requiring complicated setup. Let me share some of my thoughts about its bass and sound performance. I was really surprised about the bass. The Bromley 150 delivers surprisingly deep, impactful low frequencies for its size, making electronic, hip-hop, pop, and rock music feel energetic and engaging. Anything I "threw" at it I felt like the mids keep vocals clear and natural, while the treble delivers enough detail to bring instruments and acoustic tracks to life. Combined with Marshall's True Stereophonic 360 degree technology, the speaker creates an experience you have to check it out for yourself. As always, Marshall stays true to its heritage with the iconic black and brass aesthetic (that's why I started my review with "if you know, you know...", tactile controls, and amplifier-inspired styling. I really think that this is one of those products that becomes part of the conversation whenever guests see it. I don't think you need to worry about its design, it looks just as good sitting in a living room as it does on your backyard patio. If the price tag is not an issue for you, the Marshall Bromley 150 is more than just a Bluetooth speaker in my opinion. It's like a portable entertainment hub that can effortlessly transition from background music during a family gathering to the star attraction at a karaoke night. Its combination of powerful sound, exceptional battery life, premium craftsmanship, and versatile connectivity makes it one of the most exciting portable party speakers which at the end is really worth your hard earned money. Check it out, I don't think you will be disappointed with this one.

The Bromley 150 is hands down the best bluetooth speaker of theirs I have interacted with! Marshall got a lot right with the fit and finish of the speaker. The speaker is dense which makes it feel very sturdy. I believe that this is due in part to the battery which makes this speaker portable. Coupled with the grippy feet on the bottom this isn't going anywhere. The handle of the speaker feels good in your hand. Marshall knocked it out of the park for me on this. The buttons and dials feel AMAZING! My main point of feedback on their Acton II was that the dials did not contain detents so you couldn't feel where the knob was pointing to. That has been resolved with the Bromley. A+ Marshall! There are a few access points that are covered on the speaker that feel robust enough that I feel confident that they will stay locked in for many years to come. Protected by said covers are the inputs and the battery. The speaker has a few inputs such as XLR and headphone jacks for you to be able to plug in auxiliary devices. I haven't tried this out yet, but I am excited to try out the XLR inputs soon. Speaking of the battery, the Bromley 150 has a removable battery. Too often these days consumers are stuck with fully incased batteries. I really like that Marshall is taking into account that folks may need to use this speaker for longer durations in places that electricity isn't available. I guess I should bring up the speaker quality since this is a review for a speaker. The speaker sounds great. There is plenty of adjustments that can be made to the sound quality directly on the unit. My 5 year old and I had a lot of fun using the party lights in the speaker grill. I had them set to twinkle with the music. I'm not sure how the speaker handles that logic, but it did a really great job twinkling with the music. Would I recommend this to a friend or family member? Absolutely. It is a small enough speaker that has great audio output that can be used on the go for hours on end thanks to the replaceable battery packs.
