Phenomenal sound, but huge. Definitely not a speaker that you can hide away, but sound stage is amazing. Unfortunately the design does not allow for use of banana plugs.

Excellent surround speaker. Can’t wait to buy another pair for my left and right surrounds. BTW, I am a big fan of B&W, but I have to admit that, after I replaced my B&W left and right back surrounds with ML FX2 ones, the difference was phenomenal in terms of details, and richness of the sound. I would definitely recommend ML FX 2 to anyone building a dedicated home theater.

Bought on an open box deal. Did not have mounting brackets but I placed them on speaker stands. They fit well on the stands. I have them connected to a marantz sr7013 and using for surrounds. Works and sounds awesome for surround. They can go low enough on hz that they provide bass for surrounds. Crystal clear sound hear every detail. Wish I could find two more so I can add a rear surround channel also.

I bought these after returning a pair of Motion FX’s to supplement my Motion 60XTis, Motion 50 XTinand Dynamo 1600X. These sound super rich and provide excellent imaging. Their build quality is also great and they look cool, although a hit bulky. Overall, I highly recommend these if you’re looking for surround speakers.

I was hesitant to try these. I had some in wall speakers for my rear surrounds but they were causing issues for my soundproofing due to being installed in an exterior perimeter wall and thus putting a hole for sound to leak I bought a set of these hesitantly but after using them and breaking them in, I love them more than all my other surrounds The dispersion is so wide and it really helps fill the room The ported enclosure beefs up the lower midrange in a way that is not annoyingly boomy and I ended up buying another set to replace my side surrounds with These pair really well with the foundation series tower speakers. As I walk around my theater the sound doesn’t change very much They are a little hot on treble like all folded motion tweeters so if your room is all hard surfaces you might need to use some eq to soften the highs up , if you find them too bright

I was on the fence about buying these (without hearing them) or the Motion 2. The price being double of the Motion 2 was a huge deal. I went ahead and bought the FX to replace some Polk bookshelf speakers I was using as rears. Let me tell you that my system, which is all Martin Logan now, sounded like a new system. These FX speakers actually produce bass and the fact that they are half-moon shaped fills the room with sound so well. I have ML Electrostats for my fronts which are very directional so these FX fill all those spaces. Truly worth the price!

These speakers are awesome! I have B&W 606s as my back L and R, but after hooking up the MLs as my back L and R surround, my sound bubble is complete! I definitely hear a difference and the clarity is amazing. This year, my wife and I changed out our front stage with MLs and these Motion FX's have really completed the package. I have to admit I've been a B&W fan but MLs have won me over. My front stage are the motion 40Is and and the 50XT center. I'm using an outlaw audio 5K amp paired with the Denon 3600x to power everything. The motions replaced B&W 683s2s and the 50XT replaced the HTM6. I couldn't be happier!

These speakers really made the difference to my home theater. They add a kick and we all enjoy as a family. It makes it very realistic and sometimes we get confused if the sound is coming at home or from the movie.

I am already a Martin Logan fan since I already had several of their speakers in my house in various roles. So when it was time to replace the surround speakers in my family room, I naturally thought of ML. I already had ML Motion 30 as a center channel speaker, so these matched the sound quite well. These speakers were at a sweet point price-wise for me and would fit in the location. Being surround speakers, they do not carry the primary portion of the audio, but they do a very good job at this, noticeably much better than the previous speakers. I notice a significant difference in the overall movie and music experience with them. They literally fill the room with sound that was missing before. I think you will be very pleased with these speakers. The shape and dispersion work very well in the surround speaker role. So Yes, I would strongly recommend them. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star is that I think that is what I would have given the more expensive FX2. However, these are terrific speakers and would make a good addition to a system. I ordered them through the Best Buy online service and picked them up at my local store hassle-free. They were ready and I was in and out (I opted to go inside instead of curbside pickup) in no time.

The perfect surround speaker, with fantastic quality. A little larger than I expected for a surround, but the quality is great.

Had the ML 4s as my side surround but have always wanted to try these. After connecting and hanging these and running thru the Auddyssey setup I find I like these a little more than the Motion 4s. Sound is wider and more dispersed with these while the sound from Motion 4s was more locatable.

I purchased the FX pair to replace the Motion 4 speakers i was using for surround channels. The difference is amazing. Night and day change. The detail and punch from the FX model brought solid surround effects to my home theater.

Bought these to replace a pair of Definitive Tech BP2X surrounds. I recently purchased a pair of Martin Logan 60xti front channel speakers, and these surrounds complement the 60xti perfectly. The Best Buy web site has an incorrect description for these, so be sure to talk to a Best Buy salesperson.

Wow! This is a gorgeous speaker by Martin Logan. It’s great for surround and with its thin profile it hugs the wall nicely. It looks premium and sounds great. I recommend this to all audiophiles!

What a great addition to my home Theater. These speakers give me all the high range and mid range sounds I need. What a great paring with any set of front speaker to give you that surround theater experience.

I decided it was time to buy a complete system to replace my 25 year old JBLs. These surrounds are perfect match with ML 50XT using the new 60XT floor speakers.

Bought these speakers as my rears and they do not dissapoint. They rounded off my surround sound speakers nicely. I would highly recommend this speaker.

I have two pair of these speakers for surround side and surround back's and they are awesome! Room is 15ft wide and 18ft long and they are perfect for the room size.
