I’ve been waiting a long time to have a Marvel only fighting game and if all sells well, there will be support for 10 years! I’ve put many hours into the game already. I am primarily a single player offline gamer and there is plenty of content for that. Episode, Arcade, Survival, Battle Royale with chibi avatars, and much more. I was impressed with the Episodes with comic book style stories and recorded dialogue. For online players, the Lobby is like a Marvel theme park. A must buy for Marvel fans!

I think they did a great job with the campaign as far as 2d fighting campaigns go. There is a good amount of offline as well as online content. The only thing I would have liked was to have each character get their own health bar instead of sharing a single health bar. I also would have preferred to have a little over 20 fighters if it is a 4 v 4 fighting game. However, with a good amount of content and variety, I still give it 5 stars.

Getting the studio behind Dragon Ball FighterZ to handle Marvel characters was a brilliant decision. The graphics are crisp and beautiful on PlayStation®5, and the ganeplay is fun and addicting. Every character is unique and the story is phenomenally done — spoken from the perspective of a comic fan.

Simply fantastic and easy controls with simple art make this one of the all time best fighting games ever made! Should easily make everyones top 5 fighting games list period.

Brings me back to my Marvel vs Capcom days! Amazing graphics and fun game play.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has been on my radar ever since they announced it back in June of 2025. I’ve been playing Capcom fighters since the released of Street Fighter 2 on the SNES. Was introduced to my first versus game with x-men vs Street Fighter in the arcade and have played every versus games since. So when I heard ARC Systems, the makers of Guilty Gears and Blazblue (both amazing games), are making a Marvel Fighter, I was beyond excited! I played and love Dragon Ball Fighters , so when I finally got my hands on Marvel Tokon it was like a dream come true. The characters are so fluid , the way they move, pulling off their specials and supers. Having played the other versus games I was able to get right into it. Even if you’re new to the versus games they have a great tutorial that teaches you the mechanics and before long you’ll be stringing together normals into special into supers! Definitely worth a buy! 10/10

I extremley happy with the fact I can purcahse this game in a physical format, with most if not all PS games going fully digital is extremely great to have this medium. The game loaded fast and was up and running in no time. The goid thing I have 3 PS5 consoles in my home when Im not playing my daughters can play the campaign which has many different story beads. If you like responsive couch 1v1 fighters this is the game for you.

Having a dream team of 4 characters of some of the most beloved superheros and villains is just amazing to experience. Every single character in the game feels very unique to use. All with their own moveset and abilities. When you truly learn your entire team, you can come up with amazing combos, that just look incredible. The anime inspired graphics that ArcSystem Works are known for are breath taking in Marvel Tokon.

Arcsystem Works has always been an elite team for creating superb fighting games and they do not disappoint when it comes to taking their best shot at their interpretation of a Marvel fighting game. Beautiful visuals, really great soundtrack, a great variety of beloved characters while being a very easy and friendly game to pick up without feeling like you need to be an expert in fighting games!

Like anyone else who enjoys Capcom's Marvel fighters like MVC or Marvel superheroes, I wanted to see a new game of that caliber and when ArcSys announced Marvel Tokon, I was ecstatic. Needless to say, the game does not disappoint in the slightest, and I eagerly await new content to be added. The only complaint I have is the lack of content at launch, even with the ultimate edition and I was expecting more from the story mode than I ended up getting. Overall I would give the game a very enthusiastic four out of five: It's an incredible foundation that I think just needs more content to be truly great

This really gives you the Marvel Vs Capcom vibes. The game is very easy to play but hard to master which makes a good fighting game. The art style really pops on the screen. Lots of modes to be had here. As a person who does not like online matchups there is plenty of content for a single player.

I was a little skeptical as a marvel vs capcom fan. But seeing the new designs for the characters, the vibrant colors and the awesome comic book style story made this game very enjoyable. This is definitely a must but for marvel fans!!!

Marvel Tokon, is an amazing fighting game if you enjoy games like Marvel vs Capcom or DBZ fighters this will be right up your ally , small roster to start with but I'm sure ARCsys will give up some amazing updates seeing as they still update DBZ fighters.

This is a fun fighter that is pretty accessible to new players. Not a lot of quality single player content. It's geared more towards online multiplayer, but does have a single player story mode via episodes and an arcade arena mode that lets you play against the computer through multiple series of fights, leading to a final series that leads to a final boss. Otherwise there is an interesting multiplayer lobby that you can challenge people in or play minigames in.

Differing itself from past Marvel fighting games, the 4 vs 4 tag team action of Tokon may seem overwhelming at first, but the game gives you multiple ways of playing. From simple two-button special moves and command inputs, there's a style for both new and old fighting game players. Character designs are fun spins on the heroes and villains, showcased in the story mode through animated comic books and writing that's surprisingly great for the genre.

Love the action,graphics and background scenario everything looks gorgeous and the fights are packed with so much action when all fighters are on screen at the same time.

This game is great. Its accessible for new players and advanced for veteran fighting game players. The graphics are beautiful and the sound is top notch. You want regret buying this game.
