Despite other reviews on here, this game is amazing! The characters, aesthetic, and world are uniquely designed and gorgeous. The story is fun to follow and has all the crazy twists and turns you’d expect from the creators of Danganronpa. Couldn’t have asked for more. While the game does appear fuzzy in handheld, the performance itself doesn’t suffer, and the game looks perfect docked. If you liked Danganronpa, buy this now. Or when it’s back in stock.

I ordered the game online and it arrived the next day in mint condition. That being said the game has an interesting story and is all around really fun to play. It's lot like Danganronpa if you're familiar with the series.

Review from my Granddaughter - With Raincode. It reminds me a lot of past titles such as Danganronpa, Zero Escape and Ai The Somnium Files in some way or form. The gamyplay is smooth and the mysteries are great, they have serious moments and they have funny moments at the same time with a lot of creative twists and mini games to solve it with. My only really complaint is that I play this game in English and I don't know if the Japanese dub has this but majority of the time when a character talks their mouth wouldn't move on time or stay shut until after they are done speaking. The characters are also a nice touch to the game with all of their different personalities and takes on different things, it's fun having then around as you're in the mystery labyrinth and is a reason why this game is funny.

Rain Code is a captivating video game that truly immerses players in its unique world. The game's stunning visuals and creative use of weather effects add a refreshing layer to the gaming experience. The storyline is intriguing, keeping players engaged as they unravel the mysteries within the rain-soaked landscape. The controls are smooth and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. While there were a few minor bugs encountered during gameplay, they didn't significantly detract from the overall enjoyment. With its combination of atmospheric storytelling and innovative gameplay mechanics, Rain Code is a solid choice for those seeking a memorable gaming adventure.

First, if you like Dangonronpa, Phoenix Wright, or even visual novels like Doki Doki Literature Club this game is a must buy for you! I was expecting something like Phoenix Wright or Dangonronpa going in but this game feels like such a step forward from those games. Fully fleshed out 3D worlds, most lines are voice acted. Its fun its different its a visual treat. Although somewhat limited by the switch. It can get really weird but thats what i like about it. This game is not for kids so beware of that. Id say 16 and over. Must buy!

Although this game isn't nearly as well thought out as Danganronpa, and the character/world aren't as interesting, it's a decent enough substitute for the time being. The gane does have a lot of issues though. The performace is terrible, and the gane is really foggy even though there's such a small amount of stuff on screen. The gane game has onlyt delay during gameplay and even in the pause menu which can get annoying and mess you up when it shouldn't. Shinigami is really annoying when not in the Mystery Labyrinth, so that blows. Although there is a lot of negatives, the gane still has team Danganronpa's unique charm, and they clearly took some inspiration from Persona which isn't a bad thing. I'm going to enjoy playing through this game, but I do hope it gets some patches soon.

Pretty good story. Really does have a Danganronpa feel to it gameplay wise with some features missing though. Twists were a bit obvious and would've loved more interaction with certain characters to throw some more wrenches into it before and during the mystery solving, but enjoyable. Has a pinch of the Persona style world roaming to it. Somewhat easier than Danganronpa to get the friend simulator thing going, but definitely could've done some more to extend it a bit more. Loved the side missions. Music is pretty good. Wish the maze parts were more like a dungeon crawler type deal.

Still currently playing the game and loving every minute of it. Fans of the Danganronpa series will definitely enjoy this game. The story is gripping with a unique and fun set of characters. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the game plays out and then to play the DLC as well! 10/10 definitely recommend!

Fun game! Very reminiscent of Danganronpa. Graphical performance is pretty bad however, but we come to expect it from switch games.

If you're a fan of the Danganronpa series, and of any mystery based games in general, this is definitely for you! I wont spoil anything, but this has the same great/wacky storytelling as you'd expect from Spike Chunsoft, as well as many twists and turns around each corner.if you're on the fence about this game, I'd tell you to dive right in, 100 percent!

Not quite as good the DanganRonpa games, but very similar in structure. If you like one series, you'll like the other. One caution: If you're sensitive to innuendo, you may want to skip this.

Great game if you like the mystery/detective novels and Danganronpa. The main attraction is the story is great and characters are interesting. The cons was that its quite easy and there are no alternate ending. There is a part of the epilogue that doesn’t make sense to me (survive source) but the overall ride was enjoyable.

Takes every lesson learned from the Danganronpa series and levels up the gameplay experience for something fresh but familiar for fans. A great new experience for fans of the genre and newcomers alike!

I’ve yet to play Rain Code, but i’ve consistently heard nothing but good things. I was drawn to this because of the dystopian/cyberpunk setting, detective-oriented story, and the dev team having previously worked on the Dangonronpa series (greatly enjoyed the first). Cant wait to play it!
