Mattel recently reclaimed the master toy license for DC Comics from McFarlane Toys and the first action figures out of the gate are super-toyetic in the DC Premier line aimed at kids, but loved by adults too. The Batman/Clayface 2-Pack features a cool Batman figure battling a Clayface with two heads in a neat flip-mechanism, in addition to multiple points of articulation. What's more, these figures look great and align with Mattel's previous DC Universe Classics line. Even better, the price point of $12-13 per figure is a great incentive for collectors on a budget, and is in sharp contrast to the $25-35 cost for most collector-aimed figures like the aforementioned McFarlane offerings. Fun, playful, and great to look at. This set is worth the price and (hopefully) a nice preview of Mattel's DC toys to come.
