A: There is an option for a "larger fill" but it can only be used in some of the cycles and, interestingly, not in the "normal" cycle. I hate the water savers that we are all subjected to no matter what style washer you buy. I use the larger fill option on everything and just don't typically select the normal cycle. The other options like "bedding", etc. do the same job and allow the extra fill. I do really like this washing machine and it is BIG.
A: Hello JimH, there are no set range of cycle times for this model of washer. Cycle times vary depending on water pressure in the home, load size, amount of detergent used etc. The unit also has a soil sensor, which would sense the soil on the clothing. Which in return would adjust the time. The time in the display is an estimated time only and may adjust.
Q: If you use the deep fill option how far into the wash cycle does it start to fill up with water.
A: barb, the washer will begin to fill with water at the beginning of the cycle.
Q: What is the height needed for the lid raised all the way up? This would be without the pedestals.
A: CAT, the height with the lid raised for this Maytag® Washer is 61 inches. We hope this helps!
Q: How many inches does the back of the washing machine need to be installed from the wall?
A: Kt50, we recommend a spacing of 5 inches behind the Washer. Hopefully, this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Maytag appliances!
Q: Where is the detergent dispenser? Is there a separate dispenser unit for Chlorox?
A: Both are on the top of the washer. There are separate dispensers.
A: Hi Ty1289, The washer senses how much water is needed based on the size of the load. Each cycle can be different based on the different size of loads. We hope this helps.
