The steam function works well for my decorative pillows on my bed and my sofa. I like the fact that I can use manual or pre set drying options. It is very spacious.

Had Maytags for 14 years, no problem. So ordered the same. Installer damaged dryer during install. Dropped and bent right front leg and didn’t tell me. A short time later I ordered the 15” Drawers for washer & dryer. Different installer showed the damage to me because new drawer on dryer did not close completely.

This is the best dryer at Best Buy. Go into the store and read all the labels then read Maytag and know they only put out the truth in bold type. Get the set and if you have a top load expect threes times the productivity. It takes a little longer to do a full cycle of clothes but the results are great with 3x the size load of a top load set. You will not be disappointed. And the sales people are nice and delivered with care! Very Professional. Worth every Penney!

This is a good dryer for the price. Steam and refresh works great. Dryer dries very well.

I was known that Maytag is a great brand, but this is above my expectations. It has 15 minutes washing and it so amazing. It doesn't damage my delicated clothing. And it workss perfect with dirty and heavy items. The dryer works perfectly. It has the wrinkles option to manage how you need it.

If you order online, Best Buy does not ask for the dryer (left side or right side door to open) and because it doesn’t; We as a customer had to take the time and frustration to do it ourselves. We had to take the entire frame off the dryer and then take the entire frame off the door….. Remind yourself, if u are spending your hard earn money and products have inflated in price, the Best Buy app should require you to choose which door direction. The app asks you options to pay for install, cords, hoses and warranty's, and removal of the old dryer but does not ask which door side .. poor customer service app… Dryer itself is great

The dryer is as nice as the matching washer. It auto senses dampness & dries accordingly. We don’t make selections outside of normal. It is also quiet, perhaps even more so than the washer.

This model was a replacement for an oversized dryer that is no longer made . I have a Maytag washer, and I thought it would be a nice match . It functions great . My main complaint is the actual overall housing - as I was removing clothes from the dryer I had cut myself on the plastic part of the frame just outside of the door opening . The edges didn’t look like they were filed down after removing from the mold . That defect was on both sides of the door opening .

I couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Best Buy offered a reasonable price and the pedestals were buy one get one FREE! If you like a neat and clean look, purchase the pedestals. Let's face it, the washing machine is the first review people go to when looking for a new washer/dryer set but this dryer deserves some love. For context, coming from 13 year old Kenmore which was a Whirpool model (same company as Maytag) so when it was time to replace we stuck with what had served us well. Highlights: the automatic cycles work. the clothes come out dry (wasn't the case with our previous older model). Steam is nice as is the wrinkle guard. The dryer seems to actively adjust the time remaining based on sensors and usually ends up drying faster than anticipated. Given it has a steam function you do need an extra kit to connect a water supply to it from the washing machine water connections. Had it about 3 weeks now and happy, would recommend.

Large drum painted white easy to find your socks, love the 20 min steam refresh. Use it for my small lap quilts, like the variety of options and heat choices.

When they installed my dryer and after that I opened the dryer. I didn’t see the light bulb inside dryer.

And product came with 10 years warranty plan. model number for washer - MHW6630HW2 serial numebr - CA2900316 Model number MED6630HW2 serial number MA3206623 Washer doesn’t start in one press of power button. ( it happen in front of him too I made video) screen continue blink. Cycle doesn’t finish in its time. It always stop after 40 or 50 minutes. ( it happen in front of him too, 2 times ) In washer screen its shows 5d when 2 hours cycle stop in 40 or 50 minutes. And screen blinking continues. And when water start to come in washer it doesn’t stop and I have to turn off washer. And the spinner makes too much noises. Greek agent came our home 2 time for repairing he spend 3-4 hours per day (he came 3 day) to fix washer. he changed it’s main board and he gave me a reason because i didn’t clean sides of door and i put large amount of liquid detergent which is why my washer is not working. after stop working washer its display still shows whole cycle with time by blinking. Now today my washer stop working when i hit start button it says ERR on screen and i tried 1 minutes continue i have video clip too. and i have video clip after the repair by greek agent of washer and dryer. Same thigh happen with dryer it getting too hot even I select temp 2 or 3. So he open top part and he said he will change it belt and pully because that dryer spins very fast and it make noises. And it’s dryer cycle also not complete in given time too. still same problem sfter repairing dryer - making too much noise and stop before completing cycle and cloths still wet. and for dryer he gave me reason your vantilation system is blocked. (our new house built august 2021 and we bought washer and dryer august 2021) and he gave another reason - your lundry room is small which is 6*4 feet . I tried to chat but every one end chat by saying contact sales department for change washer and dryer. i can not upload videos becuase there is no option for upload video. by video you can easily see all above difficulties with washer and dryer.

Excellent machines. Be sure to buy the stacking kit from whirlpool if you plan on stacking them.

Water gets into the display board and the dyer turns off. It will not turn on again unless you plug the dyer for 5 minutes and plug it back in. This is the second unit I’ve purchased of this model with the same issue.

First let me say that it’s a fantastic dryer. Quiet, efficient, and has a lot of capacity. Having said that, Maytag still hasn’t figured out that tilting the panel up makes it a pain to use when stacked. Also throw in the fact that you have to hold the start button for 3 seconds is insane. Why 3 seconds? It’s not a lot of time, but it’s a long pause that interrupts the general flow of loading and starting the machine. Other than that, I love it
