Q: This is dated as released in February of 2018. When is the 2019 version going to be available?
A: We constantly update our software as new threats and ways to counter them are discovered. We send out those updates regularly. Q: I now have Kaspersky total Security about to expire. If McAfee Total Protection comparable?
A: I am not an expert on Kaspersky products, but I did look at their website and this appears to be a pretty similar product to McAfee Total Protection. I know that both companies score well in independent tests that are performed, so both offer similar protection levels. The features seem to be pretty similar - parental controls, password manager, secure file storage. As far as I can tell, these are comparable products. Of course, I would recommend the McAfee product - we are used by over 90% of the PC manufacturers and Top 100 financial institutions because we have proven ourselves. But that is your decision. A: Yes! In fact, you don't need to wait for the year to go by before you install. You can install at any time and if you already have a valid subscription and then you also choose "Extend my current subscription" when given the option, it will add a year to your subscription no matter when it is set to expire. You can install all 3 at one time if you like. Go to https://www.mcafee.com/activate to redeem your code and setup your account with McAfee. Once the software downloads and installs to your device, you can go back to https://www.mcafee.com/activate to redeem the second code and a year will be added. Repeat as many times as you wish. Because this is a 1-device package, you will not be able to load to other PC's until you invalidate the first PC you install this to, which can be done in your McAfee account home screen which shows the device you have installed to.
