About this product
This album brings the glowing, cinematic Violin and Cello Concertos of Ukrainian com-poser Thomas de Hartmann, an important compositional voice in his own time, back into the limelight. Using an international all-star cast, the recording not only aims to re-establish de Hartmann's oeuvre, but also to bring musicians together in times of war. The Violin Concerto was recorded in Warsaw with Joshua Bell as soloist and Dalia Stasevska conducting the INSO-Lviv Symphony Orchestra, managing to temporarily leave their besieged country. The Cello Concerto is presented by Matt Haimovitz and the MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Dennis Russell Davies. This album is made possible by the dedication and generous support of the Thomas de Hartmann Project, aimed to reintroduce his colourful and compelling music. Album Tracks 1. Violin Concerto, Op. 66~I. Largo - Allegro 2. Violin Concerto, Op. 66~II. Andante 3. Violin Concerto, Op. 66~III. Menuet fantasque (Tempo do Minuetto) 4. Violin Concerto, Op. 66~IV. Finale. Vivace 5. Black Veil Brides' seventh album, VINDICATE, ushers in their most visceral, creative, thrilling, and uncompromising era yet, as the band continues to defy expectations and misconceptions held by casual onlookers. It's a living will and testament to the band's storied past, triumphant present, and unwritten future. It harnesses the blend of grandeur and intimacy at the heart of the band's melodic and metallic sound; conjuring enduring archetypes, interwoven with themes of revolt, vengeance, and shades of John Milton's epic 1677 poem, Paradise Lost. Each of the album's songs explores a distinct expression of revenge, some as narrative portraits and others as internal confrontations. VINDICATE is the first new Black Veil Brides full-length produced by Pitts and Biersack, who exercised complete creative control while synthesizing the best of what they've learned from A-list producers. The album was mixed by Zakk Cervini (Bring Me The Horizon, Evanescence, Bad Omens). Forever champions of the isolated and the dismissed, Black Veil Brides are an object of devotion and obsession for those who sing their anthems in unison - a diverse BVB Army that never surrenders. Album Tracks 1. Invocation to the Muse 2. Vindicate 3. Certainty 4. Bleeders 5. Hallelujah 6. Cut (Featuring Lilith Czar) 7. Alive 8. Purgatory (Overture Iiii) 9. Revenger (Featuring Robb Flynn) 10. Sorrow 11. Grace (Interlude) 12. Ave Maria 13. Woe & Pain 14. Eschaton
