Bought this unit to replace a similar one I had been using for years because it refused to pair with my new Airpods (3rd gen). I guess something changed in the Bluetooth compatibility because my previous (original) Airpods worked just fine. Anyway, for those who are not familiar with this type of transmitter, it allows you to connect your bluetooth headphones or earbuds to the transmitter and plug the transmitter into the TV or other A/V device to get wireless audio. Very handy if one person wants to watch TV late at night while the other person sleeps, if one person likes a show and the other doesn't, etc. Setup is straightforward enough, so long as your TV has a headphone jack like mine: 1. Connect the transmitter to a USB port (I use the one on my TV, but a USB adapter that plugs into the wall also works). 2. Plug the built-in audio cable into to your TV's audio output (mine has a headphone jack, but you can also use an RCA to 3.5mm adapter if you need to connect it that way) 3. Turn on the TV and transmitter. 4. The transmitter should be flashing red and blue. If it isn't, double press the button. When flashing red and blue, the transmitter is looking for bluetooth devices. 5. Switch your bluetooth headphones or earbuds to pairing mode and put them next to the transmitter. For Airpods this means opening the lid of the case (leaving the airpods inside) and holding the button on the back of the case until the light on the front flashes white. 6. Once the light on the transmitter turns blue, you will be able to hear your TV audio through your bluetooth headphones. I've tested this with new Airpods, Bose QC35s, and also some generic Bluetooth sports earbuds from China, and had no issues.

Was able to connect my wireless earbuds for use in the plane most recently. Was easy to pair and connect. Did notice some latency between flight crew announcements and what was occurring on the earbuds….for movies the latency was not really perceptible (ie. acceptable).

This has earned a permanent place in my carryon. It's that good! Each time I use it, the people sitting around me are curious first, then impressed when they see how easy it is to connect so I can have top quality sound in a snap.

I bought this for my kids to watch movies together on the ipad when we travel. It’s very easy to use once you learn the different button-press sequences and I had no issues setting it up with their Bluetooth headphones. It seems to work well and I really like how small and portable it is too! I definitely will buy a second one for my wife and me.

I bought this transmitter to connect my AirPods to the in-flight entertainment system, it was easy to pair with my airpods and the battery life is great. The transmitter is very small and lightweight. I would recommend this for anyone travel with Airpods,

I bought this device for my family in anticipation of our trip later this month. I was able to connect two Airpod Pros to the device. My issue, however, is that the volume levels for each earphone are vastly different. When I tested it on an audio device the volume may be faint on one pair of Airpod , but okay one the other. When I adjusted the volume on the audio device the volume level did go up the Airpod that was faint, but it was way to loud on the second Airpod. I called MEE Customer Service and was told that this issue was common. They told me to try and do some things to remedy the situation. It still did not work. Sadly, I am disappointed with outcome of this ordeal.

Works well and works well with my laptop. A bit pricy but feels like good quality. Audio comes through clearly without static or drops. Worth checking out if you need Bluetooth

This special order came just in time for flight to Europe. Paired my Beats earbuds, but tried 3 devices and my macbook but couldnt receive audio. Also battery didnt hold after a week of storage. Returning to best buy.
