The base headset strap is very uncomfortable and if you’re expecting to play long term are most likely expected to get a bette reversion of it either from Meta or a third party. This headstrap makes the headset way more comfortable than the base headstrap. Also, the headset normally only lasts for 1-1.5hrs. If you expect to play longer than that in a day I’d highly recommend getting this headstrap with battery.

Very solid and cozy battery that extends the life of the headset by double! A bit pricy and might recommend it on sale unless you have a Best Buy card. Sometimes a little buggy but overall enjoying this thing. A simple reset usually does the trick if I experience any issues. Extends the battery life greatly and I recommend it to any quest fan. Its first party quality feels reassuring. Feels nice and sturdy and comfortable, even while laying down if you adjust it properly, which was a concern I had before buying it.

Great product my son loves his vr and this strap was definitely a great purchase for it. If anyone forgets to charge or lives on there vr like my son the added play time is great its not bulky and a more comfortable playing experience

100% worth it. The extended battery alone is worth it. You can play for hours without having to recharge. Top it off with the added comfort and cleaner fit. A must have for the serious VR gamer.

If you have a quest and kids using it, the extra battery power is a must. The quest works well but the battery and comfort of the headband keeps the fun going. Definitely recomend.

The meta quest stock strap sucks. This makes a good counterweight and is more secure with ratcheting system. Oh yeah and the battery is cool too I guess. I can’t play vr for longer than an hour without feeling sick
