Customer Ratings & Reviews

I mainly use this for streaming PCVR over Virtual Desktop, but have enjoyed taking it with me. The Good: Fantastic visual quality. Huge upgrade over a Quest 2! Audio Quality is pretty good without headphones! I mean, it's going to lack the bass but everything else is pretty good. Increasing library of games. Lots of storage for games, I sideload apps on here and I just don't have to think about storage space. I have all sorts of custom content for Synth Riders and Beat Saber, it's not even sweating with over 200GB space taken. Controllers are a great upgrade over the Quest 2. No annoying ring, they feel nicer, and the battery compartment is so much easier to open by just pressing a little button versus convening with the gods to slide the battery tray in the right direction. The stock strap isn't awful, honestly. There's a decent chance you'll be okay with it. The Bad: Battery life. This thing eats power. If you stream PCVR, you're going to want a 20W battery bank. I have a big 30,000mah pack that's on a waist strap with a cord going up to it. It'll drain 10% of that per hour. Make that 30%/hr for normal 10,000mah packs. The quest itself will drain within 2-3 hours. The stock strap isn't the best for long hours or those with high cheek bones. The headset will rest on your cheeks which could be uncomfortable after a few hours. I got a third-party band and immediately felt a good difference. Would I recommend it over a Quest 2? For the price, only if you're an enthusiast or just want the visual clarity boost. Thing are just really crisp. If you're fine with your Quest 2 and only play it like an hour or two every now and then, just stick with it. It's a pretty pricey entry. But it's a great headset worth it's price. The battery situation is its only flaw. It's just very power hungry. External battery needed for any serious play. The battery is what has me docking a star.

Meta Quest 3 (500GB) Review The Meta Quest 3 is a game-changer in VR and mixed reality, offering cutting-edge performance, stellar visuals, and unmatched versatility. With its sleek, lightweight design, improved comfort, and balanced weight distribution, it’s built for long sessions without fatigue. The visuals are breathtaking, thanks to high-resolution pancake lenses (2064 x 2208 per eye) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Colors pop, textures are sharp, and the new mixed reality passthrough provides a crisp, full-color view of your surroundings, blending the virtual and physical worlds seamlessly. Powered by the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, the Quest 3 delivers lightning-fast performance with no lag, and the 500GB storage ensures plenty of room for large games like Asgard’s Wrath 2 and Population: One. The Touch Plus controllers feel ergonomic and responsive, and hand tracking is impressively accurate for a controller-free experience. Backward compatibility with Quest 2 games provides instant access to a massive library, now enhanced for the Quest 3’s hardware. Mixed reality apps, like VR workspaces and interactive gaming experiences, feel like a glimpse into the future. Battery life ranges from 2-3 hours, which is decent, though an external battery pack is recommended for marathon sessions. Overall, the Quest 3 redefines standalone VR with its sharp visuals, robust performance, and incredible storage capacity. It’s a must-have for anyone serious about immersive tech, and the 500GB model ensures you’re ready for everything VR and MR have to offer. I love it and can’t recommend it enough.

The Meta Quest 3 512GB is an impressive step forward in standalone VR. The visual clarity is immediately noticeable—the higher resolution makes games, apps, and text much sharper and easier on the eyes compared to previous generations. Performance is excellent. The improved graphical processing really shows, with smoother gameplay, better lighting, and more detailed environments. Everything feels faster and more responsive, even in more demanding experiences. Wireless freedom is one of the best parts. No cables, no external sensors—just put it on and play. Setup is simple, tracking is accurate, and the headset feels well-balanced and comfortable for longer sessions. The 512GB storage is a big plus, especially if you plan to install multiple games and apps without worrying about space. Mixed reality features also work surprisingly well and add a new layer of immersion. Overall, this is a top-tier VR headset that delivers strong performance, great visuals, and true convenience. Highly recommended for both newcomers to VR and experienced users looking for an upgrade.

I bought the Meta Quest 3 and it honestly impressed me more than I expected. The image quality is a big upgrade everything looks sharper, colors pop more, and there’s less blur, especially in games with text or lots of detail. Performance is also really smooth, and the controllers feel accurate even in fast-paced games. My favorite part is the full-color passthrough and mixed reality. Being able to see your room and have virtual objects blend into your real space feels super futuristic, and it’s actually useful not just a gimmick. It’s great for casual gaming, workouts, or anything where you don’t want to feel completely cut off from your surroundings. Comfort is decent out of the box, but the included strap is pretty basic. If you plan to play for long sessions, I’d recommend upgrading to a better head strap. Battery life can also feel a bit short for extended play, but using a power bank or external battery fixes that easily. Overall, if you’re into VR, the Quest 3 is one of the best options right now: sharp visuals, strong performance, and mixed reality that genuinely adds value. ✅ Pros: sharp display, excellent mixed reality, smooth performance, easy setup ❌ Cons: basic stock strap, battery could last longer for long sessions

This thing is awesome, not only is it really fun to play games on, but it's a great workout, and has a lot of cool quality of life features to use it without accidentally breaking things since the pass through mode works really well letting you see your surroundings by double tapping the side. Now 2 things I disliked were the stock head strap, the thing sucks really bad and isn't comfortable, 2nd thing was the battery life. Both of which I solved by purching a better one on Amazon with a built in backup battery that triples the playtime you can get out of it. Aside from that I also highly recommend vr wave if you wear glasses because while you do have the room to fit your prescription on while wearing these, depending on your frames, it can get uncomfortable with so having custom lenses for your vr is a dream come true

l loved the quest 2 but always wished the resolution was a little better. So far the Quest 3 has met my expectations. It is more comfortable than the 2, with a custom head strap. It is much more clear and just runs better overall. I have been playing boxing games for a great workout! It may be worth getting the 512gb version, since this runs standalone games better than the 2.

The Meta Quest 3 has been working really. I have tried different types of games. The graphics are pretty good. The controls are not difficult as a first time user as me. It can scan your layout in your room so that you don't trip or hurt yourseld. It has a barrier that turns read when you get close to a wall. I recommend a foot or two away from the wall to give yourself space. Overall, lots of fun. Short battery life, so invest in a battery extender.

The Meta Quest 3 is still one of the smartest VR purchases you can make right now. At around $499 for the 512GB model (and often dipping to $350–$400 on deals or refurbished), it delivers serious bang for the buck without feeling like a compromise. The pancake lenses give you sharp, clear visuals, the full-color passthrough for mixed reality actually looks usable (way better than the older headsets), and the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip keeps everything running smooth. It’s completely wireless, standalone, and way more comfortable than the Quest 2 for longer play sessions. You get high-end VR and mixed reality without needing a powerful PC or spending a fortune like you would on something like the Vision Pro. The real killer feature is the library. Thousands of games and apps on the Meta Store, full backward compatibility with older Quest titles, plus easy wireless PC VR streaming if you want more. New releases keep coming, and the ecosystem just keeps getting better. Right now some standouts include Asgard’s Wrath 2 for that huge RPG depth, Batman: Arkham Shadow for awesome superhero vibes, Arken Age with great physics-based combat, Resident Evil 4 VR if you’re into horror, and timeless stuff like Beat Saber that never gets old. There’s shooters, fitness apps, chill multiplayer like Walkabout Mini Golf, creative tools, social hangouts—pretty much something for every mood. Bottom line: In 2026, the Quest 3 nails the perfect balance. Solid performance, endless content, and it doesn’t wreck your wallet. If you’re getting into VR, upgrading, or just want the best all-around headset without overpaying, this thing is still the one to beat. No regrets here—highly recommended.

I picked up a Q3 and immediately remembered how bad the stock occulus headstraps suck lmao....yea its better than the Q2 stock headstrap but that aint sayin much! Super dissapointed that I cannot reuse my Q2 Elite + battery strap or my M2 Bobo strap.....was going to wait for the M3 bobo but broke down today and got the elite which I paired with a New Zealand Lamb wool headstrap brace. I just sold my Quest 2 256 + elite battery strap for less than what I just paid for the quest 3 elite strap lmao and do not regret the decision one bit.....this is the most comfortable VR experience I have ever had. I have only tested standalone games so far, but it is a considerable improvement over Q2....the sweet spot is so dang big, what she said, and these are the best pancakes yet! In comparison to Pico 4, its no contest the quest 3 crushes it IMHO. Mixed reality is a game changer....having the UFO come crashing thru my ceiling and then land on my Chihuahahahahaha chilling on the couch was pretty epic! Dog had no idea it just got scorched! I have been developing a game for mobile phones and am so impressed with MR on the Q3 that I want to remaster my game in MR for the Q3 after I finish mobile development.....MR is that dang cool! The only negative I can say is the black level / contrast is trash, but we all know that about LCD and not much they can do about it at this price point. All things considered, for me, the quest 3 is the best all around VR headset on the market right now....it simply does the most things right and its my new favorite :) I highly recommend the Q3, but I am not a doctor and do not play one one TV and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn express last night either.

The Meta Quest 3 Arkham Shadow bundle is an impressive step forward in virtual reality, offering a finely tuned balance between professional functionality and immersive play at an accessible price. This all-in-one headset is user-friendly, remarkably lightweight, and brings a sleek, professional design with the subtle Arkham Shadow finish, which gives it a touch of class while remaining distinctly VR-focused. For work, the Quest 3 delivers a reliable and customizable experience. The clarity of the display, coupled with a comfortable fit and enhanced processing power, makes tasks such as virtual meetings, immersive training, and creative 3D projects easy to navigate. While not as feature-packed as some of the higher-end VR systems tailored for enterprise, the Quest 3 finds the sweet spot for those seeking a blend of versatility and affordability. Its high-resolution display and improved peripheral tracking support workflows where spatial awareness and clarity are crucial, whether you’re working on collaborative 3D designs or managing productivity apps. The integration with productivity tools is seamless, although some more advanced features, like ultra-high-end graphics, may feel slightly limited for heavy CAD or software-intensive tasks. For play, the Meta Quest 3 shines. The Arkham Shadow bundle includes popular game titles that fully showcase its impressive graphics, intuitive controls, and immersive sound. Jumping into gaming worlds like Gotham City feels vivid and intensely real, with improved color range and minimal latency, creating an experience where every action feels responsive and natural. The device’s lighter build reduces fatigue, making longer gaming sessions more enjoyable, while the advanced sensors keep motion fluid and interactions lifelike. With a growing library of games and apps, it caters to both casual users and dedicated VR gamers alike. In terms of value for cost, the Meta Quest 3 Arkham Shadow bundle is worth every penny, offering quality and performance typically seen at a much higher price point. The thoughtful design, upgraded processing, and high-resolution visuals make it a highly competitive choice in the VR market, serving as a versatile headset for both work and play. While it may not replace ultra-specialized VR systems for high-end professional use, it does strike an excellent balance for anyone wanting a powerful, immersive experience without the hefty price tag.

I’m very happy with this purchase. The gaming headset is comfortable to wear, even during long gaming sessions, and the sound quality is excellent. It was easy to set up and works exactly as expected. The build quality feels solid, and it provides a great overall gaming experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable gaming headset at a great price.

I'm really impressed with the Meta Quest 3. The screen resolution is much sharper than previous models, the field of view is wide, and the controllers are highly responsive. The mixed reality integration makes them more versatile, and they feel light and comfortable to wear. With a growing library of games, this is a must-have for any VR fan

I’ve been using the Meta Quest 3 for a few weeks now, and it truly feels like a big step forward in VR. The visuals are sharp and clear, and the colors look vibrant compared to older models. Performance is smooth, and I haven’t noticed any lag even with graphics-heavy games. The mixed reality features are impressive – being able to see my surroundings while staying in VR makes it much more comfortable and practical. Setup was quick and easy, and the headset feels lighter than expected. The new controllers are very responsive, and battery life has been decent so far. The app library continues to grow, and it’s exciting to see how much more immersive VR is becoming. If you’re looking for the best standalone VR headset right now, this is definitely it.

I recently purchased the Meta Quest 3 and it has exceeded my expectations. The visuals are sharp and immersive, with significant improvements over previous models. Setup was quick and intuitive straight out of the box. The performance is smooth, and the hand-tracking works surprisingly well without controllers in many apps. Battery life is solid for extended play sessions, and the comfort fit makes it easy to wear for longer periods. Whether I’m gaming, exploring VR experiences, or using productivity apps, the Quest 3 delivers a great blend of power, versatility, and value. Highly recommend!

The resolution and graphics processing on this 512GB model are fantastic. I use it for everything from demanding PC simulation games to watching movies, and the visual fidelity is top-notch. The design is comfortable, and the Horizon Link setup works very well. It is an essential upgrade for anyone seeking total immersion and high fidelity in virtual reality.

I bought the Meta Quest 3 for my son last year, and it has truly been the best purchase we’ve made. From the day he opened it, it’s been his absolute favorite thing to do. The graphics are amazing, the headset is comfortable, and the variety of games and apps keeps him entertained for hours. What I love most is that it’s not just fun—some of the games are interactive and even educational, so he’s moving around and learning while playing. Setup was simple, and even as a parent, I found it easy to manage settings and keep things safe. The quality feels worth the price, and it’s held up great with daily use. If you’re looking for a gift that will wow your kids (or even yourself), I can’t recommend the Meta Quest 3 enough.

The Quest 3 is so amazing for playing games! It's super clear and the mixed reality is really cool. It feels great to wear and the games are so much fun. This is the best VR headset I've ever used.

The meta Quest 3 is an excellent entertainment system, as an owner of the quest 1 and 2 this is exactly what we were waiting for in the realm of AR/VR. The color passthrough is a game changer as you can now seamlessly integrate your gaming and entertainment into your real surroundings and the quality is quite good. The 512Gb version for a heavy gamer, streamer or someone looking to have friends and family profiles is a must as storage space will be needed. This is a solid headset and not in terms of weight because it is light weight but in terms of performance. The cons the improved power is not matched by the battery capacity so you will be charging your headset more than the quest 1 or 2. This can be fixed with a decent 3rd party battery pack or compatible battery charged head strap. So overall for the price, what you receive, the capabilities, fun factor and overall entertainment value of the headset it is deserving of 5 stars.

The biggest upgrade has been the clarity due to the new lenses. The sweet spot where it is clear is incredibly forgiving compared to the Quest 2. The battery life is lower, so an elite strap is definitely a good idea for longer play sessions. The menus are snappier. The color pass-through is sweet. Its extra graphics power makes games look beautiful if the textures have been upgraded for Quest 3. Even if there hasn't been an update or optimization for Quest 3, the better resolution does make it look better.

Absolutely incredible VR experience! The Meta Quest has completely exceeded my expectations. The wireless freedom and ease of setup make it a game changer in the world of virtual reality. The graphics and immersive gameplay are truly impressive, and the library of games and experiences is constantly expanding. The intuitive controllers and responsive tracking enhance the overall sense of immersion. Whether you're a VR enthusiast or a newcomer (like me), the Meta Quest offers an accessible and thrilling way to dive into the world of virtual reality. I originally purchased this to use for meditiation but I have now downloaded so many games. There are games like Moss which is stunning to see to boxing where you really work up a sweat to my favorite apps meditaion. I highly recommend you get the 128GB so you can have more storage.
