Dude, they make 5 dollar flat irons that have a rotating head on the cord so it doesn’t get tangled when you use it. I am now on my third cord becuase when we play GTag the cord gets tangled or stuck and now becuase of that it got yanked out again and won’t stay in its port when we use it. Seriously Meta come on!!! The length is great but the fact that it keeps getting tangled and pulled sucks.

Works great with my quest 3. Pretty much just plug and play with your pc and you don’t have to worry about battery or onboard graphics.

The cable is extremely useful as it let's me use the complete potential of my headset and it's very easy to use, although I would say it's a bit overpriced.

Tried to buy another cable instead of buying this one and ended up wasting $30, 100% don't cheap out on the link cable as this one is amazing. The cable is also long enough to reach my entire room.

16ft cable, fiber optic core, & USB-C 3.0. The cable is exactly what you need, but overpriced. Keeps headset battery maintained whilst using. Only reason for 3 stars is because the cable is not braided & price.

A bit pricy but nice to have the official cable and not have to worry about making sure the cable works properly.

Used this to connect my laptop and oculus quest2 and was able to play my PC VR games with ease. A shame a cord cost so much... id give it a higher score.

Works great, when I hooked it up too my oculus I experienced no problems, although it does sometimes curls. I know there are cheaper options out there but I preferred to get the wire from the direct brand.

I am buying a second cable only because we have purchased a second quest 2. This one for my other son’s bday. The cable provides an excellent transfer rate and allows us to be able to access the steam library for VR games purchased through there. Not only can you use the Meta games but with the cable you can use the Steam library.

Expensive garbage, broke from normal use within 3 months and out of return window , Unacceptable manufacturing and quality for the price they charge for these. Probably better off searching out other brands. I read the reviews and figured I’d try anyways knowing I take care of my stuff , should’ve passed on this one. It’s a shame too because it worked great but at $79 and this amount of life in it , the manufacturer should be ashamed of their product

You see, the broken cable I bought from here should be repaired or replaced by Best Buy but Best Buy failed to take care of it. Best Buy store failed to take care of the product either. Take advice, Best Buy is not a responsible one, leave it buy at Amazon or original website and don't buy product here yourself, because as said, you will know it, future friend.

This cane is way to overpriced and is garbage I’ve only used this for a month and it’s already twisted the port I want a free replacement

Literally broke when I barely used it. I barely used the wire and now it just broke.

After trying a few third-party alternatives, the official Meta Quest Link Cable is definitely the most reliable option for PCVR. Because it uses fiber optics, it’s noticeably thinner, lighter, and more flexible than the cheaper copper cables, which makes a huge difference in movement during active games. The data transfer speeds are consistent, providing a crisp, low-latency image that really lets you take advantage of your PC's hardware. It also does a great job of keeping the headset charged while playing, though that depends on your PC's power output. While the price is higher than others, the build quality and lack of connection drops make it worth the investment for a seamless experience.

so reason for my 4 star. first is i feel i should not have to have even bought this cord for the quest to work with a pc. the quest had a 10 ft cord that it came with. its marketed as a stand alone set sure, but still would be nice to have a cord that not only is longer (so can be used better when charging) but also would work well while plugged into a pc. i also think that its pricy. i feel they did that because they know ppl would want to use the VR headset with a pc to get more out of it. like games etc. all of that said, the cord is long and works great. the cord that came with the headset worked with a pc but it was laggy. this cord made it a lot less laggy. still got lag but i feel that was something else like the headset maybe trying to use its own hardware or something. some games played great and some games that seemed to be more demanding not as well. if you want to use the VR headset (oculus quest) with a pc i suggest this cord. it did make a difference. it also adds a little more length.

While not perfect, the brand name cord is better than the knockoffs. I’ve tried a few and the original is still the best. It has higher transfer speeds, feel well built, and has charging. Other brands do not hit all three marks, and I wasn’t looking to make trade offs any longer. Happy with my purchase.

People will tell you it's stupid to pay this much for a cable, and they're right normally. This cable though has saved me more times than not the past month, I've tried external battery packs/power banks and a few other USB C cables (some from USB A to it and others directly from C to C) and the official Oculus Link cable is the only one capable of sustaining a fast enough charge to actually increase the battery rapidly while in use. I'm playing 90hz through virtual desktop in intense high settings steam games with all the encoder and performance checks at the max in virtual desktop settings so my CPU clock speed is actually running faster than the stock Q2's would be -- yesterday the headset died while wirelessly playing a Population One match (luckily through Steam so I could still talk and hear my teammates through my bluetooth headset), I ran over to the link cable and yanked it out of my computer and plugged it into the wall outlet next to my roomscale play area and bam within SECONDS the headset booted back up and was showing 3% battery already. I was able to reconnect to virtual desktop and get back in THE SAME MATCH! within about a minute total turn around. Kept playing while plugged in and before you know it the headset was at 30% charge -- this is IMPOSSIBLE to achieve off a 16 foot cable from any third party. Looks like the Oculus fiber optic whatever gimmicks in this cable actually pay off.

Great option to avoid using air link. Cable is more than long enough for the space i use it in and a tight enough fit that i dont have to worry about it coming loose during movement.
