I’m fairly new to the metal gear solid games. I played the last master collection all the way through about a year ago. So I’ve been waiting patiently for this one for a while. I bought it physically because of the state of physical games and the actual ownership of games. I doubt it’ll send much of a message but please buy all your games physical so Sony can understand we gamers want to own our games not have a license for them. Going back to metal gear though, I’ve only played through MGS4 at this point, I’m still yet to play peacewalker, but the quality of the collection is amazing and MGS4 is an amazing game with an amazing story. The game was previously trapped on the PS3, this just shows how important video game preservation is which goes hand in hand with video game ownership. All in all Metal Gear Solid is an amazing franchise but you know what’s even cooler? Owning your actual games.

After 18 long years of PlayStation 3 exclusivity, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots finally arrives on current-gen consoles. Hideo Kojima delivers a masterpiece in Solid Snake’s final chapter. If gameplay is important to you, this might not be the game for you. However, if you’re looking for cinema, storytelling, and a single-player gaming experience, Hideo Kojima delivers. This anime-blended, single-player action game not only gives you a great story but also offers great replay value. Also included in this collection is Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, a PSP classic. Alongside Master Collection Vol. 1 and Metal Gear Solid Delta, Master Collection Vol. 2 gives fans, both old and new, an opportunity to experience more of the saga. Hopefully, bringing the collection to current-gen consoles might spark a Solid Snake revival in the near future.

This isn’t exactly a remaster package, but that’s more than fine. Konami really knocked it out of the park porting over a game previously trapped on PS3 hardware. MGS4 on PS5 is a beauty. 4K@60fps does wonders for these high quality textures. Hard to tell this game originally released in 2008. Fantastic, highly recommend.

This is a nice collection to have for MGS fans, but even better since MGS4 is finally free from the PS3. The game even performs betters with a higher framerate, a better resolution, and has much quicker load times. I'm so happy to have this second collection finally!

I have no idea how to recommend this enough, but dear reader I beg of you to give this awesome remaster a chance, of course playing the other games that come before it so that you actually know what's going on. Enjoy!

A fantastic collection of classic games from the mgs series. Peacewalker is a wonderful hd remaster of the original psp game and metal gear solid 4 finally being released from the locked library on the ps3 is wonderful as well

The wait is finally over and im loving every second

Great collection, especially for longtime Metal Gear fans. Being able to play MGS4 again on a modern PlayStation console is worth it alone, and having Peace Walker included makes the package even better. I also really appreciate having a physical PS5 copy for the collection. Definitely recommended for Metal Gear fans!

I think the title says it all but, it brings MGS4 to modern platforms without needing an emulator, makes Peace Walker way more accessible AND includes the coop functionality. If you’re an MGS fan it’s perfect. If you were new to MGS with Volume 1, it’s STILL perfect.

Mainly got it for Metal Gear Solid 4. Finally this game has been released. It was only playable on Ps3 for years. The game runs at a smooth 60 fps, quick load times. Graphics still hold up today. Story is amazing.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is one one my favorite games of all time. It was only available on the PS3 until now. The graphics look better, the gameplay is great and the story is epic. I love this game, thank you Konami.

So excited to have this collection on modern consoles. I loved these games when they were originally released years ago. Good price for this game.

It’s exactly what it’s says it is, being able to play these games on a ps5 is amazing. Highly recommend for any metal gear fan

It's good to have it on my hand with this collection, I'm glad I'll got it, and it worth it every penny, Thank You Best Buy! Much appreciated it

Man, it brought back so many memories and you can customize the controller layout as you like which makes it even better

This is the best way to play these games. No more drop frames and improved controls. Thank you Konami!

Love the fact that i get to play MGS4 on current hardware with added other versions of the franchise.

So glad this is finally off of the ps3. If you havent played mgs4, I would highly recommend you do.
