Adapted my new head unit to my 2006 BMW X5 antenna cable as it's supposed to.Also, the cable is long enough to handle easily, but not too long to get in the way.

Had to use it as recommended by geek squad stereo installation employee. It helped me upgrade my old stereo in Mercedes Benz to a new Kenwood stereo . So far happy with my purchase.
